The Red Creek series is new to me. The story starts off with our protagonist Maro Prakk. He's a 23 year old veteran. After being discharged, he left with his horse. After retiring as an officer, he is offered a job. The job is escorting a girl ( Maribel) into the town of Red Creek. He refuses and the job is offered to someone else. After which the girl falls into the hands of a gang known as the Langan(villains). This is due to the fact that the person who got the job handed her over to them. The character is has lifetime of experience and turmoil that add the favor of the story. His relation with Maribel is another. Prakk soon loos to take the job, but learns it is too late. Upon finding out that the girl was kidnapped, he then set out to find her
Kyle Belote story of the internal struggle the our character Prakk as he battle the demons, while searching for Maribel. The book is filled with action from begin to end. I believe the this novel truly deserves a five out of five, and look forward to seeing a book two in the series. If you love fantasy you will love this book. ]]>

I started reading this book in hope of the draw to be a good read for my friends child. I was so right that I did. The story of woof, woof and minion is incredible. This a battle between the dogs who are lead by the "battle harden leader" woof woof and the bears, who are lead by their "battle harden leader" minion. This is the struggle for who is right when it comes to Austins bedroom. Are the bears better than the dogs or are the dogs better than the bears. This is a beautiful drawn picture book. It is brought to life in vivid and bright colors, that really draw and keep the childs imagination. I would read this book to children during story time any day. The stories focus on overcoming ones differences and working together speaks volumes about how we as adults can learn from them. I love how simple but effective the story and characters are drawn and brought to life. I gave it a five out of five for this reason. I encourage all to pick up a copy for your children and/ or donate to a local school. I believe it's worth the time and energy.

With an open mind, I began reading this book and quickly became enamored with it. My interest was maintained throughout the book by the diverse cast of individuals. The nonlinear timeline is fantastic. The Devil Will not Keep Us Apart is a gripping psychological thriller that weaves together the lives of Adrian Franklin, Conner Wallace, and Elmer Ray. A visceral and unvarnished tale of camaraderie, retaliation, and a brutal prison murder emerges from their interactions with an Appalachian drug dealer, a mob leader, and a sexual predator. How these folks with quite different lives got caught up in this thriller and why was one of the things that intrigued me. Mr. Clark performed a fantastic job, in my opinion, and I can't to read more of his books. ]]>

I was thrilled to hear that I could evaluate the book. I was hoping it would be just as good as the first book. It was not disappointing. We begin with the current decline of Ralloc. I think the presence of the wicked ruler Xilor continues to provide suspense to the narrative by relating the conflict between good and evil. The series' character development is fantastic. I adore how Mr. Belote demonstrates the intricacy of the situation by fusing corruption and power. The story explores the intricacies of using evil powers and raises the question of whether the goals are ever worth the means. Every decision the protagonist makes has significant repercussions in the author's gripping tale of identification and salvation. This novel is a memorable read because it serves as a reminder of how easy the distinction between light and darkness can become hazy. ]]>

I found this book a hard ad fascinating read in the began. I eventually started to come around as the story progressed. While reading this book I fell in love with the interaction between Marilie and Jack. The search for Lafitte's shipwreck and the battle with the developer add to the fast pacer of the novel and keep it going for me. I so recommend this a good read. I look forward to reading more by this author. ]]>
