This book wasn't what I expected, but it is still a good read. Instead of a detailed financial guidebook, this work felt more like a devotional that highlights and illustrates points from Bible verses and stories that are connected to financial decisions (and the author did an excellent job of incorporating appropriate verses, parables, and modern interpretations of these stories).

The core message of my book is not about accumulating wealth but about aligning our financial decisions with God's will and scripture. “Financial freedom,� as I present it, is ultimately about being free from the bondage of money as an idol, finding peace and trust in God's provision regardless of external circumstances.

While stories like George Muller’s and Job’s highlight the profound faithfulness of God in challenging circumstances, stewardship is about faithfully managing what God entrusts to us—whether much or little—in obedience to Him. The heart of the message is to encourage believers to approach finances as an act of worship, not to seek wealth but to live in freedom from worry and dependence on material things.
