"One of the most boring books I've read this year. I had trouble following the dense overwritten prose and mostly failed. I do not doubt the novella is a classic masterpiece but it was too much of a chore to care. There is a plot hidden somewhere, something about a despicable pedophilic lust for a a 14 year old boy, but I was already too dozed to even get disgusted."
