Definitely not for everyone, but I think this book is fascinating. It's a dreamlike, anesthetized, body-horror carnival that feels like waking up from surgery still under anesthesia. The ending surprised and... "delighted" is the wrong word. But it was good. ]]>

Foundational cyberpunk. Language can be really dense, so I bounced off it the first time I tried reading it, but the second time around I let myself be immersed and I ended up loving the velocity of the prose. Definitely recommend. ]]>
