Easy/quick read - almost felt like a horror YA book. Absolutely loved!! I’ve been trying to find another fantasy book lately where I could escape and this was it. I could not put down the last half of the book - so much so I told friends I was busy and couldn’t hangout.
Fantastic slow burn - and yes somewhat predictable (especially for fantasy) but nonetheless I lost myself in the adventure of this book.

Added edit: Also, didn’t realize I got sucked into a 9+ book series / universe, but here I am. That enemies to lovers tension was real and felt like the biggest slow burn, yet so satisfying.
