This author really has a way of establishing the creepiness factor without tropes. Unique physiological thriller voice - where the whole thing gives you the heebie geebies. with this book, its the voyage, not the destination.

Yes, there is the "surprise" denouement- The "I see dead people" ah-ha moment-
but usually you have to wade through so much set up t0 build anticipation. The set up in this book has the creepy factor throughout- she makes you uncomfortable from the first page

If you are over 28 - do not read this book- you'll want to hang yourself when its over=

the premise is to value men and women at various stages in their life. 3 stars because its very well researched and factual... - documented evidence. Fertile supple (physically and intellectually) women are most desirable at 21-28yo, men who are stable and mature are max valuable at 35-45.. i.e. men at their peak value ages date women at their peak value ages- so i.e. if your a 40 year old woman- you are considered old dried up and men your age can and will date women in their mid 20s-

Its 300 pages of - you're not desirable anymore- you have opnions and love handles and dried up eggs and men don't want you- you blew your shot by being too picky when you had the chance- when you were young and dumb.. when toxic uber-entitled men could mold you into the housekeeper/ blowjob/baby factory they dream of.

DOn't read it if you're over 30- because its a constant beating over the top of your head- how your best days are behind you- and theres nothing you can do-

the net net is you should have settled at 25, so if your over 25- there is no point in reading the book- unless you needed a nudge to tie a noose to your closet rod. ]]>
