4.5 - I waffled between 4 or 5 stars for silly Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ (please, for the love, add half-star ratings), but regardless, this was an excellent read! I loved the unique way the timelines were formatted like the rings on a cross-cut slice of a tree - so that you start at the most recent, work your way back to the beginning of this multi-generational family saga, and then progress back to the present day. Each of the timelines was engaging, but more importantly, they were clear and easy to tell apart from each other, which is a real challenge with multiple POVs/timelines. I finished this one quite some time ago, but I'm still thinking about it.
