I loved this book from the very start. Ivyโ€™s story was so emotionalโ€”it made me cry more than once, but it also made me admire her so much. Sheโ€™s such a strong and lovable character, and I felt everything she went through.
One of the things that made this book even more exciting for me is that itโ€™s set in the 80s. As a 2000s baby, I was eager to see what life was like back then, and it was so fun to experience it through Ivy and Coreyโ€™s story.
And then thereโ€™s Corey Delacour. He is ๐˜š๐˜– perfectโ€”the way he treats Ivy, the way he loves her, itโ€™s everything. Definitely in my top 5 book boyfriends. How I wish I could have my own Corey, even though he's fictional and he would be around my parentsโ€� age nowโ€”but hey, whatโ€™s life without a little delusion?
I love how their relationship felt so natural and deep. It was so healthy and there wasnโ€™t unnecessary drama. They were just perfect for each other, and their love story was beautiful to read.
