Fantastic book! At times poignant and dark, but also just a fun romping adventure. The plot shifts quickly throughout, putting Jim and Huck in some new unique situation often. Jim is a great character, his relationship with Huck is warm, and his drive to reunite with his wife and daughter is felt powerfully. Being from Jim's perspective, naturally the story becomes a lot about slavery, which gives the book emotional weight.

I don't have a lot to offer in this review other than to say it was a very nice audiobook experience and I'm happy to have experienced the story of Huckleberry Finn after having never been able to read through it myself (get bored and quit for some reason).
