I thought the cliffhanger last time was bad but this one is brutal. 

Rage wants Celia to live in the cage until she conceives. He thinks it's in her best interest but really it's only for his sake. Rebel sneaks her out and they go for a joy ride and have a really good night. Rebel truly just wants to see Celia be happy and he doesn't care if it makes Rage mad. 

Watching Ruin slowly come out of his shell in this story was absolutely beautiful. His curiosity with Celia and how she interacts with his brothers is interesting to explore. I absolutely love that Rebel is kind of pulling him into everything in a way that is encouraging but not demeaning.

Then of course we have Thanatos who is now training Celia to defend herself in case she gets captured by the psycho running around killing women who look like her. Thanatos certainly seems to be catching feelings and Celia is not dismissing him though nothing has happened outside of training.

Watching these relationships being built is beautiful. Each man has his faults and specific needs that have to be dealt with differently but Celia is doing this beautifully. Also, the guys are finally learning how best to love and care for Celia too. 

I'm super excited to see what is next but also terribly worried after that cliffhanger. Even a serial killer needs love

This story Atticus who has a dark side that requires he kill and if he ignores it too long he blacks out and it happens anyways. Well during one of these times he comes too and realizes the need is still there. He looks up to see a man yelling at a woman and decides he will be the victim. What he doesn't expect is that he wants to keep her and she has no issues with his murdery tendencies. 

Atticus has been trying to find out about his family for years and when his adoptive family passed he located some background information. The one thing that bothered him the most was finding out he had a twin that his mother kept. Now he needs answers and needs to figure out how to get his brother to ap ak with him. 

This book was a fantastic murdery fest.  What could make someone happier than finding the woman who completed him and helps with his extracurricular activities. Hate or Love? Pain or Pleasure? Lines blur

Read the trigger warnings. If Unaliving is one of yours please skip this book because you will not be okay. This book hit me hard and I wasn't quite ready but I absolutely loved the journey and the relationships in this story. There is a light at the end of the darkness.

Roman lost his first love and it left a lasting mark on him. Now whenever things feel like too much he finds a fight or something that will give him the pain he needs to ground himself again. 

Damon lost his brother years ago and blames Roman for it. He also deals with some metal health issues and past situations that hit him hard in this story. So when he re-enrolls at the same college as Roman he has plans to get even. Only when he actually sees him things don't go as planned. He offers to give Roman the pain he needs as long as he is the only one who makes him bleed. 

This of course unlocks a whole new set of emotions. Neither of these men are over the loss and now they will be exploring how hate becomes love and pain and pleasure can combine to become more. 

This story is intense and left me feeling all of the emotions. That ending though was everything my heart needed. Neph is immediately drawn to Syrin and longs to know her. This story may be short but the stolen moments are beautiful.
