After finishing this book I was left needing more. It was a crazy wild ride, and did not end anything like I imagined. You are left with many questions, so patience is a virtue.

The main characters are written with such depth, it was very interesting to see more of Oleg personality, and not what I was expecting. Tatyana, was an unexpected delight, whilst naive, she had a determination about her that was not going to be walked over. The secondary, but no less essential, characters were given such awesome personalities too. As with all of Elizabeth Hunter's books, her vampires are all unique, and so relatable.

This was a little different than most of Elizabeth's books, as in, it's a bit more fiery between Oleg and Tatyana, but no less tasteful. The world created had me flipping pages and not wanting to go to bed. I was thoroughly immersed in this book, so much so, the ending sneaked up on me. After finishing the book, it left me thinking about it for days, and missing that I had finished it. I whole heartedly recommend this new vampire series. ]]>

Oh! Wow.... This was truly a step away from the usual for Elizabeth Hunter, but don't think you're not in for an exciting ride. I was thoroughly immersed in the story, and the characters, and the whole alternate world.

I don't read dragon books, never had a desire to, but for me, this isn't the run of the mill type of dragon book, this is a whole new fairy tale reimagined. The characters are very well created with depth and personalities you can get behind. Cadell, well, what can you say, attentive but can be petty. Duncan, broody, mistaken for grumpy... I am so team Duncan for some reason. Carys, love the name, handled the overload of new realties very well.

This new alternate world in this series is awesome, and as always, you can totally jump into the pages and feel you're there. The way it is written, you're not overloaded with unnecessary blurb to fill pages, everything is relevant.

I'm already waiting for the next book, because I'm waiting for answers that I have. Highly recommend this new adventure from Elizabeth Hunter. ]]>

Brigid embarked on a mission to find the elusive Zasha, in this final Elemental Covenant series book. Tenzin was recruited to help. There are two very angry mates, who go searching. That is my very brief synopsis of this book. Don't be fooled though, there is plenty of other stuff going on, but I don't want to give anything away. Also, be prepared to learn a little more about our beloved Tenzin, I do believe she is "evolving".

There was a lot of build up in this book, to the finale, and I was left underwhelmed. I love Elizabeth Hunter's books, but this one just left me with a feeling that something was missing, nonplussed even. There were some really excellent scenes, and the descriptors are phenomenal as always. The characters are so their usual selves, and we are introduced to some new ones too, which is always exciting. It's like you're meeting some new friends. I kind of want to go to Alaska now.

If you've read the series, you'll need to read this too. It is a good conclusion, especially if you love Brigid and Carwyn's characters in all the books. ]]>
