I get inspired by a good love story. For the fairy tale retellings, it's fun to work with a classic tale to bring something new to it.
With my other stories, the shorter Trysts, I really just wanted to tell really short stories that were fun and sexy while still being romantic.

What I'm working on write now is the Passion-Filled Fairy Tales series, and those are just retellings of classic fairy tales with sexy parts. Those have been a lot of fun, because I know the basic skeleton of the story, but I get to add new stuff to it. I've loved it and the ideas are easy to play with.

Unfortunately, my answer is just a tad bit obvious: getting to write. I love sitting down to create stories. I love fleshing out a wonderful tale that's got spirit, romance, love and intrigue. That gets my juices flowing. And that's what I love about being a writer.

I try to write through any periods of "block." Though, I can honestly say I've never had true writers block. There have been days when I haven't felt like writing what I'm working on, but there's never been a day when I haven't been able to tackle some writing project.

Read a lot and write every day. If you get into a writing habit, that will make it easier to finish your books.

Right now, I'm finishing up my Cinderella fairy tale and working on a series of erotic short stories, which I'm tentatively calling, Encounters.
