Shannon K. Butcher Hi David,
I don't currently have any plans to continue their story, but if you enjoyed that world, you will probably like The Lost Shards series, which I write as Anna Argent. I think they have the same feel.
Happy reading!

Shannon K. Butcher The idea for Saving Daylight has been cooking in the back of my brain for years. I can’t pinpoint exactly the time when it all came together in some kind of ah-ha moment. Because I write on a fairly epic scale, plot ideas are more of a slow simmer over the course of years, rather than some kind of lightning strike. I’ve spent so much time with the characters in The Sentinel Wars that they’re like friends. I’m constantly thinking about them and what’s going on with them. This naturally leads to all kids of ideas. I try to keep only the best ones—the ones that suit both their character as well as serving the overarching story.
Shannon K. Butcher I guess I’m far too practical to worry about inspiration. When it’s time to work, I work. Waiting for inspiration would make me far less productive. I have too many stories in my head to waste time. As it stands, I’ll never have enough time to write them all before I die. And like weeds, new ideas area always popping up, sometimes in the most inconvenient places, like right in the middle of another story that’s already under a deadline.
Shannon K. Butcher Two things. First, I’m planning the third installment of the Stone Men series. Second, I’m got something new in the works that I’m keeping under wraps for now. It’s a labor of love for me and definitely the biggest challenge of my writing career.
Shannon K. Butcher I’m on of those authors who doesn’t believe in writer’s block. As much as I love writing, it is my job, and like any other job, there are days when I’d rather do something else. I find that it’s a matter of discipline to write no matter how I feel, even if it’s a struggle. Most of the time when I push myself, the words start to flow after a few minutes. Unless I’m bleeding or on fire, there’s really no excuse not to at least sit down at the keyboard and try to write something worth keeping. Some of my best writing happens on days when I really didn’t feel inspired to write at all.
