I have been writing every day from 11am until noon as part of a coaching power hour called (more information at: ). I actually started this group to help others but the benefits I have received have been immeasurable.
The structure and accountability have made writing much easier, especially on books that I have found more difficult to get out of my head and onto the computer.
The key I have found is to just write and write and write and not evaluate what I am writing while I am writing it.
I have worked with coaching clients who have wanted to write and have used the two tactics I just described with great success: (1) write regularly and (2) just write, don't evaluate.
