For the book I'm working on now, SEVEN, I got the inspiration first from my husband because of a conversation we had lying in bed one night. Then I decided to pair it with an experience I had in middle school that has stuck vividly in my brain to this day, from there....a lot more has happened that I totally didn't plan on but I'm loving it! :)

Honestly....inspiration usually comes in the shower! It's the one place where I'm alone, it's peaceful and I do a lot of book/story line thinking while I'm standing in the hot water :)

I'm currently working on my second book entitled "SEVEN". It is not in any way related to "SOLVING US" but I'm excited to ride the wave of this story line that has been in my head for months! Look for it to be published in the early spring 2016!

I still consider myself an aspiring writer, but my best advice so far for anyone starting out is to put the words on paper and as you near publishing time, seek out others who have gone before you to help guide you through it. There are so many new and veteran authors out there who are happy to give advice and help when it's needed. Seek them out and don't be afraid to use them. Just be sure to be appreciative when the help comes! :)
