I'm so glad you enjoyed A Chorus Rises! I hadn't planned on writing a third book--but to be fair, I hadn't planned on writing the second book either, so! Something for me to think about!

Hi Tiffany,
I'm so glad you enjoyed it! The follow-up, A CHORUS RISES, releases soon: June 1, 2021! You can already pre-order--and don't forget to submit your receipt when you do, because there's a limited edition enamel pin to collect! BCM

Among my very very favorite books are: Invisible Man by Ralph Ellison, Sula and The Bluest Eye by Toni Morrison, Kindred by Octavia Butler, and Speaker for the Dead by Orson Scott Card!

I sometimes feel like this is a trick question ;) - or at least one with a tricky answer.
A lot of us have been writing fiction or poetry since we were really young kids, which is lovely and definitely shows it's been a part of who we are for a long time, but I think the more honest answer to this question (or at least the more relevant one) is about how long I've been writing for the marketplace. In my case, despite having queried projects before then, I've been seriously working since 2010, which is the year I wrote *and* researched the industry and kept abreast of agent blogs and contests and revised and rewrote, et cetera.

Having finished the follow-up to LLoA, I'm currently working on a co-write project involving magical black girls, the Pacific Northwest, and sisterhood! <3
