Hey Ste!
I would absolutely love to if the offer still stands. I know it's been awhile since you asked. :)

It isn't on audio yet, but it's on my radar to have done within the year! Thank you for asking! Your interest has moved it higher on my priority list. <3

(view spoiler)[Hey! I actually met you at the Augusta mall when you did a signing there!
Okay first part isn't a question but, my poor Loric! I wish I got a taste of his side of the story more but I can live without it!
I really enjoyed the going back in time and seeing Forluna and Raleon. I would love to see some more of that. I want more of Raleon and how he truly was you know? (hide spoiler)]

Hi Sabrina!
Thank you for your comment! I just saw this question (it's on a different page than where I normally go in goodreads lol). I love Loric too! :_(
I actually hadn't planned on doing much with Raleon in the sequel but since you mentioned it, I will! I'm so glad you enjoyed my book and were able to get a signed copy! Thank you so much!

(view spoiler)[Will the sequel follow the same characters or we will know what happened with Hera's side while Dargo's quest? (hide spoiler)]

Hi Priscilla! We will definitely get a taste of Hera's side in the sequel, and I think it's going to surprise you! :D

I opened my laptop to continue work on the last page of my manuscript, but instead of the friendly flicker, it stayed black. If there is an Underworld for laptops, mine was surely there, and my story with it.

I've learned that my writer's block mostly stems from being overly booked in other aspects of my life. If I'm feeling like something is being neglected (chores, work, family, professional growth) then I can't concentrate on my writing until I do. Going full force on whatever the other thing(s) are frees up my mental capacity to focus on writing. Sometimes that means putting a hard stop on something else I enjoy doing. But too many competing priorities is the most reliable way to feed my writer's block. Writing takes time and dedication, and sometimes it's just not possible unless I cut something else off (within reason of course).
If I'm still struggling, I'll try bullet pointing out plot points and until I get to a scene that I'm really excited about writing, and a lot of times that will give me more ideas for those bullet points that I was less excited about.
Listening to epic music also helps sometimes.

This one is hard. I love writing and the escape it gives me. It gives me a chance to work through some of my emotions and struggles through my characters, and it's a really therapeutic exercise for me in that way. But I also love all the writers I interact with because I write and share with my critique group, they're very motivating and encouraging. And lately, I absolutely LOVE seeing how my story has brought joy to readers. That is truly the best feeling so far.

Don't be afraid of the first draft. It's going to be a mess. It's going to be imperfect. The first draft is YOU the writer figuring out everything in your head that's trying to get out.
Just like with 10 people speaking to you at once, all ten of those ideas are not going to come out right the first time, you're going to have to go back and correct things as you work through it.
Don't be afraid of it. Just write that first draft, tweak as you go, or don't, write a scene out of sequence, bullet point out places where you don't feel like writing, find the rhythm that works for you and just keep going.

I'm currently working on character arcs for book 2 of Epic of Helinthia, and dabbling in an ancient greek historical sapphic romance. I have about 20% of that one complete, but I keep coming back to EoH2 and hope to be able to get writing on it soon.

One of my biggest inspirations is music. Especially epic themes like those composed by Hans Zimmer or some of the renditions that 2WEI puts out. Other favorites are Fleurie, Tommie Profitt, and League of Legends. A lot of the scenes I've written and have planned came to me while I was listening to these songs, and I've made a playlist on my youtube of all of them so I can keep them in my head and develop them further when I'm not at the keyboard.

I was heavily inspired by the Iliad and the Lord of the Rings movies, I wanted that exciting multi-pov and moving parts but with Greek gods and heroes and heroines. This book is 20 years in the making, and I've gotten so many ideas from so many sources over the years. Many of the themes and character arcs are based on personal experiences I've had or phases of my life where my thinking wasn't what it should have been, and these are fun to play with when building my characters.
