I am currently working on a Mystery Scientific fiction which i strongly believe is something, not usually tried by Indian writers and i am sure people will like it as much as i am doing.

Ideas come from day to day experiences. It is not that i have experienced murder or something, but mystery is something we all like some way or the other. Since the childhood we have seen marvelous detective characters like Sherlock Holmes, Byomkesh Bakshi (my favorite) etc. I, like many others thought that one day i will write something related to detective, mystery. When i got a chance, i tried to use all my experiences with respect to characters, places, food, situations into a novel.

Don't have the fear of finishing before even beginning. It is the problem with most of the people who initiates but soon give up. Take your time, you have all the time in the world. It took me more than 3 years to complete 1 novel. But now i have completed half of my next novel already in a period of 8 months. I dont say its a pretty good speed, but i am a Biologist, and not a full time writer. And i think its a good speed.

Writing is not a profession for me, i never thought i could write a >200 page fiction. I started writing whenever i got time but soon i began to realize how much it helped me in focusing. I felt like, i have the power over my characters, i can make them think and do what i want them to. And it motivated me.
