I was sure I answered you, Leeann, but it might have got caught up in my dying computer glitches. There will be more Wolvers. I'll be writing the next one soon.

Guardian's Grace is in production as I write this. Other books will follow quickly. Glad to have a reader out there who's interested in listening!

For me, it's finding the soft spot in the character's humanity (even when they aren't human) and revealing it slowly to the reader. My proudest moments as an author have been the times I've taken a character readers don't initially like, but end up loving because they see the walls that character has had to build to protect themselves from the hurt and pain they've experienced in their past. I know it's an old cliché, but if you can make a reader walk a mile in that character's shoes, it's a beautiful thing.

If I'm honest, it's reviews. I'm proud to say my writing has evolved, but I never know if what I write, or the new direction I take, is what readers will like until the reviews come in. Most have been good, and they give me me a high like nothing else can, but... I've made some mistakes - big ones - and a reviewer's honesty can be a hard pill to swallow. It's a bitter pill, depressing and discouraging, but it's a live-and-learn business and I have learned to take my medicine and use it to become a better writer and move on.

Hi Claude! Right now I'm working on Guardian's Patience, the fifth book in the Guardians series. It's Broadbent's story and I'm loving it. Instead of roses, he buys her cat food!

Personally, I'd say Thrillers. A good thriller must have a tightly woven plot where pace and timing are critical. It should make your heart beat faster and faster as you race toward the end. I admire those who can do it well.

I'm living it! I get to do what I love to earn my living. I quit my job to write full time - Don't get excited, though. My job wasn't a high paying one. Enough readers enjoy my work to allow me to do more of it. For me, that's a dream come true and one I never expected.

Banging your forehead on the table does not work, although that's where I usually start! Writer's block (for me) usually means I'm trying to force my characters or plot in the wrong direction. It may take a few days to figure it out, but once I do, the writing begins to flow again.

My wolvers are shifters who have lived in relative isolation for hundreds of years. Those wild and isolated places are disappearing within the modern world, so I started thinking of ways the wolvers could hide in plain sight. Playing devil's advocate, I started thinking what if something was happening that threatened to expose the wolver world to humans. How would they stop it? Wolver's Gold was born.
