I would go to Wonderland. I've always LOVED Alive in Wonderland. I would just get lost and roam around much like Alice did. Maybe without quite so much shenanigans.

My summer reading list...since I'm seeing this late my winter reading list now...I'm actually reading the Outlander series. So far the books are much better than the show.

Honestly? I was watching Pirates of the Caribbean and realized that aside from Elizabeth Swan there were no lady pirates! I started doing some Googling different female pirates and reading their stories. I pulled bits and pieces from all of these adventurous women and came up with Anne.

Freedom. I love not having to work for someone. I like being able to take my "office" anywhere I want. I can sit in a coffee shop and people watch. Go to the park and sit at a picnic table. Sit on my couch. At a desk. In bed. Hell, even in the bathtub. The freedom writing gives to me is one of my favorite things about being a writer.

Life inspires me. I could be walking through a park and get an idea. Washing my hair. Watching my kids. The ideas just hit whenever and wherever.

Not just this particular book, but the entire Ever After series was constructed from fairy tales. I absolutely love fairy tales. And not just the Disney version. I love the dark, evil original ones. They're fascinating and fantastic.
