Hi Oscar. I am re-releasing The Emissary under a different title (same book) on April 1st. It is now called Powers of the Six. The 2nd book will be out July 1st and will be called Blood of the Guardian.

Tips and advice on query letters and synopsis? Oh my. They are oh so hard. :)
Query letter: I will say, sometimes I think it is easier to write a query before you have the book done, that way all the small details don't get in the way. Try to avoid cliches and words that make your work sound generic. What makes your book truly unique? Also, get friends to read it first and rip it apart. If a friend says "great job" get another friend to read.
Synopsis: A friend of mine writes her synopsis by jotting down a sentence or two from each chapter as she is writing, and then she puts it all together and smooths it out. Me, personally, I always queried the agents who didn't ask for a synopsis first. lol
Good luck! If you find the secret, let me know! :)
