I think that writing can be healing! Not just for yourself but also for others that read what you have written. In addition I like to share my experiences, thoughts, feelings, and knowledge with others as we collectively probably have more similarities than differences!

My most recent book has yet to be published. It is a poetry book that I wrote last year. It deals with love, the good and bad of relationships, sex, loss, grief, suicide, depression, persevering, healing oneself. I wrote about my personal relationships and many of the thoughts, feelings, and pain that I was going through while also trying to overcome my depression and heal. I will release the book either this year or next year.

I get inspired by what I see, hear, and by cumulative thoughts that I feel compelled to write about. I often write about things that need to be said as too much of what we hear in our mainstream news is false, untrue, and outright lies, so to counter this I have submitted a lot of letters to the editor to local newspapers. In addition I have created various Web sites to address topics and issues that sadly too many people that I encounter have no knowledge about!
I also enjoy writing about non-controversial topics like health and wellness, even though it can be controversial if people still falsely believe that pseudo medicines and pharmaceuticals are the way to go, or that they are good for humans or the environment!

I keep myself pretty busy (for better or for worse)! Lately I have been playing catch up with my life and have been doing Web development, reading, plotting and planning for this year's garden, cleaning, downsizing, and the like. I have also been creative and have been working on promotional materials for my gardening consulting business.
I am also getting ready to do some updates to my book "Expanding Horizons Through Creative Expressions" that I hope to re-release later this year!

Follow your heart...you can never go wrong when you write about topics and ideas that you are passionate about! I would not encourage anyone to write about something that you don't care about as you will probably never finish your work.

I don't have writer's block too often but when I do I go outside and spend a few moments in Nature and then get back to my writing inside or outside. I say that it doesn't happen too often because I usually don't start writing until I am ready mentally and physically to write!
