When I die I want those that have survived me to be able to look at a legacy of work, instead of arguing about who has to throw away the stupid couch that I left behind that no one wants. I'm sure that they will do that too but at least the books will outlast that memory.

I had the idea for Existential Terror and Breakfast while walking to a job that I hated. It occurred to me that even the most interesting people in the world must spend the majority of their time doing mundane everyday things. The stories that they tell others about the rad things that they do are the exceptions in their day. I wanted to read a book that was honest about the moments between the adventure. So I wrote it.

Stop aspiring. All you have to do to be a writer is to write. If you don't like what you have written do not despair, you can always write more, and each time that you do it will get better.

The best thing about being a writer is seeing other people relate to your broken mind. It is fulfilling to know that you are not the only person with a crossed wire, or, failing that, that your crossed wire is at least entertaining to other people.
