There was a writer in a dark dark house, writing with a dark dark purpose. Lightning lit the room as she crossed the dark dark hall to the dark dark kitchen, only to find...the coffee jar was empty!!!! :-O

I'm very pleased to hear from a Welsh person.
I do plan to release this duology as a paperback, but the ebooks are my litmus test. I'm really hoping they'll sell spectacularly well.
The reason being that paperbacks are incredibly fiddly to create, and far less popular. Readers seem to prefer ebooks from indie authors.
But yes, fingers crossed, there will be paperbacks too.
btw, I have used a few Welsh phrases in my books.
I know popty ping isn't in common use, but it's such a fun phrase I had to include it.
Cwtch is far better and makes an appearance too.
But at the same time, I didn't want t overdo it, and make stereotypical characters.
I really hope you enjoy the books when you get to read them xx

Until very recently I was an Administration Assistant. Most authors, especially the indie ones also have day jobs. Sadly the royalty payments aren't often enough to pay our bills.

I find life generally to be a bit of a mystery to be honest.

Oh, that sounds so cliche.
But I love how theirs was a forbidden love, and they had to overcome enormous obstacles to find their HEA.

Everywhere.
I am a great people spotter and have worked in a great variety of places.
I am intrigued by love; it is not just one thing. There is not just one way to feel that emotion. It is many emotions under one umbrella. Which is why each of my books seek to explore these different kinds of love.

It's a struggle; I won't lie. I work full time. So I have to try to snatch time to write when I can.
Whilst writing Broken & Damaged Love I actually took myself off alone to a retreat for 48 hours so I could finish draft 1.
And I get a whole week off at Christmas which helps a little.
Possibly not the clear answer you wanted.
But it's the honest one.
It's a struggle; I won't lie. I work full time. So I have to try to snatch time to write when I can.

Each of my books looks at love in a different way.
Normally I draw inspiration from the world around me.
But my current book is about vampires, so having to imagine a whole new world. But even then there's real life influences.

Hi. Just quickly replied on Twitter. Apologies for delayed response. It was a bank holiday in the UK this weekend, so I took time out of my author life to have some family time.
Room for proper answer here.
OK. First, don't write it with an audience in mind. It may make you shy. Just feel more like you're writing it as a diary; just something you'd read yourself.
Secondly, read lots of other books. How do they write sex scenes? What did you find good about them, and use that as inspiration.
Get lost in the moment. Feel the kisses as they start, what would you like your hero to do next? Go with the flow.
If you feel awkward, that'll come out in your writing, and chances are the readers will feel it.
Deep breaths, and relax.
The people reading sex scenes want to read them. They won't be shy.
We are brought up with the idea sex is a taboo; the media shows violence on TV quite willingly, but naked bodies are a no-no. But what's more natural; love or war? Sexuality is a wonderful thing. It brings unity/harmony.

If not, imagine a much younger me having to give condom demonstrations to youths trying to get access to free contraception. Yeah, I did that; and I have a certificate to prove it!! After that, writing sex scenes isn't an issue for me! ;-P
