Writing is wonderful - I love being a writer. I like the solitude in my office while I write - I have never been a person that can write in chaos. Quiet. Peace. I enjoy the act of thinking through the puzzle of putting a book together. Perhaps the best thing about writing is actually the interaction I have discovered with my readers. We have become friends. Every day I get to talk to them on social media and connect with them in order to share, talk, and discover life. It's an unexpected bi-product of writing that is the best part of my life.

Many people ask me about "writer's block" -- seriously, I think there is no such thing. It should be called "procrastination". I do procrastinate on occasion where I clean my house or go out and garden instead of buckling down to work. But generally speaking I have an endless flow of creative words in my head just waiting to get on to the computer screen. I work best in the mornings, so if I miss my morning writing time I become a strong procrastinator the rest of the day. Mornings + coffee + mad determination = no writer's block.
