In my new midgrade mystery series, CURIOUS CAT SPY CLUB, 3 kids who would never normally be friends rescue 3 kittens from a dumpster and create a club to solve mysteries and help animals.

Animals are rescued, mysteries are solved and secrets are collected.

KELSEY IS A COLLECTOR OF SECRETS.

She keeps a Notebook of Secrets with over 30 secrets, about her family, friends and even teachers. In each CCSC mystery, a few of these secrets are revealed. In the 3rd book, this book will be stolen and secrets exposed.

I'll share some of these secrets in this blog.

"Did you notice Mrs. Ross' romantic heart tattoo?" Kelsey only nods when her friend asks this question about the pretty drama teacher, Mrs. Ross. But Kelsey knows the truth about red heart tattoo with a name inked inside: Diarmad Bearnard. Mrs. Ross is happily married and has a little daughter--but she also has a secret past.
When she was young, she fell in love with a handsome Scottish actor and they planned to marry, getting matching tattoos and vowing love forever. But her parents disapproved and forced her to leave the country during the night without ever contacting him again. He went on to be famous and she married and became a teacher. But she secretly listens to his music and wonders about the life she almost had with her first love.
