Born and raised in Toowoomba, Susanne is an Australian author of contemporary and suspense romances set in exciting and often exotic locations, and rural romance set in Australia. She adores travel with her husband, both at home and overseas, and weaves stories around the settings and people she encounters. One Night in Sorrento almost wrote itself after her travels in Italy, and her rural romance, Second Chance Love, was inspired by a stint teaching in far north-west Queensland.
Her heroes have to be pretty special to live up to her real life hero. He saved her life then married her. They live on the edge of bush land on a mountain in beautiful sunny Queensland, Australia, with their dog.
Susanne is a member of the RWA (Romance Writers of Australia) and was a finalist in their 2011 Emerald Award. She placed third in the recent Pan Macmillan short story competition with Chez Romeo.

This was a beautiful second chance romance. At their ten-year high school reunion, Alex and Lita discover that they would like to find out what might have been if they had stayed together all those years before.
Will the obstacles in their way be enough to tear them apart or will they only come out strong in the end?

A story about being true to yourself and your dreams. Not giving up and second chances at love. Or even third chances lol.
Alex's confidence was injured after his body was injured, this is a story of him healing in many forms.
Lita gave up her dreams and later learned what she wanted was just as important. I loved it wasn't an insta easy to be together story. The couple had to learn to adjust to their altered realities and be true to what they wanted.flagLike·comment·see review

ABOUT THE AUTHORCherron Riser was born in Dothan, Alabama on November 2, 1983. With her family being military, she spent a lot of her early childhood traveling all over the country, giving her a lot of new and different experiences she would not otherwise have been given. When she turned ten, however, her family settled in the small town of Ozark, Alabama where she finished her high school career.
After high school, Cherron began college, however she also found herself in love with her old high school crush. The two of them were married in July of 2002, and welcomed their first child in October of 2003, after moving to Knoxville, Tennessee. In December 2008 the welcomed their second child and found themselves headed back to Alabama. They have now been married for over thirteen years, and Cherron has returned to school to finish what she had started all those years ago.
All through her life Cherron has been drawn to the arts. As a child she danced and sang all of the time, often driving her family crazy. During middle school, a group of friends and Cherron started "The Outcast" a club established for building a love of writing. Once the club was formed, Cherron was never seen without a spiral notebook and pen. She wrote daily, developing silly stories for her friends. After high school, Cherron began to write more serious stories and develop more original plot lines. It is a talent and love Cherron has developed over the years, filling her computer with story after story.
As an author, Cherron began her career as a self published author, releasing the book Defying Destiny in March of 2015. She gives a lot of credit to her husband, children, and friends for inspiring her characters and worlds and looks forward to showing them to all of her readers in the near future. Cherron can often be seen at conventions, both for readers and for geeks, as she is and will always be a geek herself, and proud of it.

In the Heat of the Night: Bindarra Creek: A Town Reborn by Susanne Bellamy
A teaser from, In the Heat of the Night:
In the Heat of the Night: Bindarra Creek: A Town Reborn (Bindarra Creek A Town Reborn Book 2)
“Looks like you’ve got a new recruit, Kel.”
“Excellent. Who is it? Kel couldn’t see beyond the door.
A brief pause, the hint of curly black hair and then Thalia stepped into the room. Her chin rose, imperious as a warrior queen.
“Like I said before, where do I sign up, Captain?”
Kel folded his arms across his chest, holding back laughter at the diminutive figure of Thalia Levonis in his fire station. Not only inhis station, but demanding to join his crew. Certain she was playing him, he decided to play along. “Great. So you’re serious?”
“Of course I am.”
“In that case, Mandy, can you give Ms Levonis the hotline number and explain about the info pack and all that? Although maybe, since we’ve just returned from a call-out, we should show her what we do, starting with helping the crew clean off the appliance, which is what we call our fire truck. He stripped off his sweaty T-shirt, balled it and tossed it through the doorway onto his desk before strolling to the door.
Thalia gasped and her gaze fixed on his bare chest.
Kel grinned. Two can play that game, Thali.
“Coming, Tha-li-a? He stressed the third syllable of her name and stood in front of her, one hand on the door beside her head.
Pink raced up her cheeks and her eyes flickered up, down to his bare chest and back up so fast he couldn’t be certain. But he was almost sure he saw a flash of fire, a flicker of sensual awareness, and the promise of retribution in her eyes. Any one of those interested him. All three together? Intriguing.

Burning with a desire to teach Aileen a lesson she'll never forget, he soon realizes it is more than lust that drives him. TAKE ME HOME. A BINDARRA CREEK ROMANCE, AUSTRALIAN RURAL ROMANCE
,,.Take Me Home by SuzanneGilchrist talks with Australian author
I’m very excited to welcome to the blog, Suzanne Gilchrist, the brains behindA Bindarra Creek Romance.
Love romance? Love adventure? Love suspense? Welcome to my writing world.Hi everyone and thanks so much Juanita for hosting me as guest on your blog today to help celebrate the release of my latest novel,Take Me Home.Over the last few years, I’ve become torn as a writer do I continue to write in the genre I was first published in (science fiction romance) or do I concentrate on writing small town, sweet romances? It’s a hard decision for me as I love both worlds. While my passion for science fiction was born from watchingDoctor WhoandLost in Spaceon our old black and white telly with my father (not to mention reading everything I could get my hands on), my passion for stories set in small country towns was fuelled by my love for the vast open spaces of Australia. From the time I was sixteen, I had itchy feet. My first venture travelling without my family was when I hopped on a bus alone to visit a girl friend who’d moved to Melbourne. My first interstate trip. I quickly followed this up with a camping tour through South Australia, the Northern Territory and Outback Queensland. Since then, I’ve travelled throughout Tasmania (again camping and Oh MY Gosh is it cold down there!), extensively through New South Wales and the Northern Territory and parts of Queensland and Western Australia. I’ve also travelled to Hong Kong, Bali, Singapore, New Zealand, Florida, Los Angeles and Boston.Along the way I met some lovely people, struggling to make a living in harsh landscapes and difficult economies, and who gave me a new appreciation of life beyond my normal urban parameters. My fascination with the amazing variety of the Australian landscape has never waned. Couple that with my desire to highlight the often heart-breaking difficulties facing our cousins living in small, dying towns manifested itself in the Bindarra Creek group writing series I organised.Take Me Homeis the first book in series three set in the fictional community of Bindarra Creek. As is often the case with writers, my first vague idea quickly morphed into a far different story than I’d envisaged.Usually I begin my books with a situation or event before populating my story. However withTake Me Home, I began with a character.Abby Taylor, almost forty years old and living a life alone. The first question I asked myself was why? Why was this attractive and personable woman living that kind of life? And it came to me immediately she couldn’t have children and, in her grief and disappointment, now shuns all thoughts of family life.I instantly knew I had my story. And I also knew how to turn Abby’s life upside down and challenge her hard-won choices. And I also knew I had to give her a HEA.I hope readers enjoy meeting the quirky characters of Bindarra Creek again through our series. And I hope you join me in cheering on Abby as she struggles with past griefs and learns to move onto a brighter future in my romance,Take Me Home.To celebrate the release ofTake Me Home, the ebook version ofBindarra Creek Makeoverwhich was the first romance in the original Bindarra Creek series, has an updated cover and will be on sale this weekend 20thJuly and 21stJuly at $0.99.Take Me HomeForgiving the past was too painful until now.Almost forty, Abby Taylor has built a new life for herself in the small country town of Bindarra Creek. When an old friend convinces her to give two adolescent boys a temporary home, she is torn between a growing love for these orphans and the grief in her past. After his marriage fell apart, Roman Taylor has focused on his career. An unexpected phone call sends him rushing to Abby’s side where he is drawn into his estranged wife’s new life a life that could offer a future he thought he’d lost forever. Will they seize this second chance? Or will fate once again destroy their dreams?

Under my new writing name of Suzanne Gilchrist, my stories encompass contemporary, sweet small-town romances and under S. E. Seduced bk 1 $1.99 - A dark vampire romance by Devyn Quinn
Closing her small bookstore is the end of a dream for Rachel Marks. With debt collectors calling and nowhere to turn, she knows she’ll have to do whatever she can to make ends meet. When a waitressing job opens up at the hottest club in town, Rachel figures she can swallow her pride and put up with it long enough to pay off her bills—as long as she can avoid her mysterious and devastatingly sexy new boss, Devon Carnavorn, a man who’s as hard to trust as he is to resist.
Devon is a fallen vampire, part of a clan who exist as outcasts from the world of the living and denied the pleasures of the undead. Forced to endure a meaningless and loveless eternity with no hope for reprieve, he is bent on self-destruction—until he meets Rachel, a ravishing woman who fires his passion for the first time in centuries and may be his one chance at a dark salvation.
As the two spar and tangle in the dark and decadent club, where sexual frenzy pulses in time with the throbbing music, Rachel finds her blood running hot for Devyn. He’s a masterful, creative lover, wakening her to searing physical pleasures she’s never imagined and desires so dark and dangerous her heart races every time they touch. But there’s a price for each shattering encounter, and with the promise of giving Rachel the ultimate ecstasy, Devon will demand the ultimate sacrifice.
About the Author:
Romantic Times Award Winning author Devyn Quinn lives in the middle nowhere New Mexico. It is so tiny and boring that the only thing enchanting about it is waving goodbye as you leave. Seriously. It’s that small.
To keep from going loco, Devyn collects and ride motorcycles. She is the proud owner of a Harley, a Honda and a Classic 2001 Ninja ZX-12R–which makes her the fastest, most dangerous writer on the road. Really. Devyn likes to go fast. Light speed fast. She will probably die in a massive fiery crash, but thinks she will enjoy herself before that final “oh, sh*t! moment hits.
At least she has enough toys to play with.
But about the books.
Devyn has written a few. Well, okay. More than one, but less than 100. Some of those books –um, 2 have been nominated for the Romantic Times Reviewer’s Choice Award. Devyn even managed to pull off a win in 2010, for her 2009 erotic romance title, Possession. Demons? Check. Sex? Check. Everyone having a major nervous breakdown. Check, and double check. Readers can always count on Devyn to create realistic characters, and then throw them into the deep end to see if they sink or swim. Torturing imaginary people is one of her favorite things to do, and no one escapes unscathed. As for her readers. Many have gone insane and scratched their eyes out
Just kidding.Or maybe not.
Devyn is not married. Devyn has a lot of ferrets. Devyn leads a very lonely life, and the hot New Mexico sun has scorched her brain cells. She re-hydrates them with wine, but that isn’t always a good thing. Sometimes things can get a little…strange.
Devyn can type. Devyn writes about people and places that don’t exist (or maybe they do), and will take readers to some very dark places. Twisted, even.
(Oh, stop. You know you want to go there.)
Please help support Devyn’s odd existence by reading her books and sending her an email.
