FYI: My book, On the Brink: A Trio of Genres, includes stories in those two genres.

I love this book! I hardly ever see anyone recommend it.

I read this book when it first came out back in the '80s. It's one of my Top 3 favorite vampire books from modern writers.

The Discworld series is awesome! I highly recommend Strata, one of Pratchett's early books. It's not a Discworld book, but I truly believe that readers of Strata can see the inkling of an idea that spawned the series.

I say yes. I have seen it mentioned as Science Fiction, Fantasy, and Horror. I see the series as Post-Apocalyptic.

Tried the second book in the Red Rising trilogy, which I find meh...
Now I'm torn between two Brian Aldiss books 'Greybeard' or 'Non-Stop'! We'll see...

I am also reading

I loved this series!

Next up: Maybe Richard Adams' Shardik, which has been sitting on my shelf since the 1980s. Is there a category like tsundoku for books that you can't get rid of because you really, really do intend to read them, but keep finding other books to read instead?

/book/show/3...
If you'd like to discuss Fractopian Fiction, I've just started a new group for that!
/group/show/...

I could pick up Brass Man ( Agent Cormac, #3) by Neal Asher but it's going to take ages to read so I won't be finishing that any time soon... I think it will have to wait until I have more free time.

If you like superheroes or high-tech, futuristic fun, then you'll love this one!
