Why don't the Silos have elevators? It seems rather inconvenient navigating a 100+ floor city without elevators. I did a search on the Kindle edition of this book, and the word "elevator" doesn't appear. Is there something I missed?

Just finished Wool and I'm excited that it's the first in a series. Now I have a reading list that will take me through the dark months of winter! My question is about the title. Why is it called Wool?

Pam Baddeley I think it's a twin meaning - the cleaners use 'wool' though it is actually cotton wool as they don't have sheep in the silo, and the early section wiâ€¦m´Ç°ù±ðI think it's a twin meaning - the cleaners use 'wool' though it is actually cotton wool as they don't have sheep in the silo, and the early section with the sheriff refers to it being made of cotton.

Kimberley Bauer Wool is the full series in one book. I think they were originally published in parts which are all now chapters in the full book. Whats the difference between Wool and Wool Omnibus?

There are three such omnibus books that make up a trilogy in the series.

Wool Omnibus (Silo Series #1)
Shift (Silo Series #2)
Dust (Silo Series #3)

If you read the three above listed books then you will have read all of the series, the other listings are just those three books broken up into smaller "short story" sections.
