Kai They involve same characters and their relotionships evolve. Historically novels are also in chronological order. So in that sense no they are not staâ€¦m´Ç°ù±ðThey involve same characters and their relotionships evolve. Historically novels are also in chronological order. So in that sense no they are not standalone. Sametime each book has it's own unique storyline. Some mentioning is done to novels past but nothing serious. People that are not too osd could easily read these novels in wrong order or just read one and leave it there.(less)

Joost Noordermeer The next one will be Tombstone, due to arrive in October I believer. It will be the seventh book in the Shardlake series :)
