Karen I wondered this as well. Also, why couldn't Michael move to the farm after they were married. If Eva and Eddie could live there then why couldn't Mich…m´Ç°ù±ðI wondered this as well. Also, why couldn't Michael move to the farm after they were married. If Eva and Eddie could live there then why couldn't Michael. It was an unnecessary and odd addition to have Michael live apart from Louisa.(less)

At the beginning, the author stated that the husband looked at the child with disgust all the time. I didn't quite understand that part; also the fact that she didn't know if she were widowed or what have you. The beginning has me very very confused. I'm still currently reading so if I need to read further than so be it. If I could get a reply that would be great too for I don't mind spoilers...?
