This is book nine of the Shrouded Nation series and bounty hunter Faith is still busy hunting for the demon who made it through the portal in her grandfather Carnell’s basement that he protected and was connected to the underworld. She gets asked by the Council to find a witch who has gone missing and soon finds that they are being used as part of a ritual to raise a new King of Hell. The first missing witch, Nancy, is a friend of Lucinda’s and linked to the council and so her priorities are forced to hunting down this missing witch and the location of where the next one might be taken. This leads her to a very powerful demon who can raise the dead and is extremely difficult to kill. It is a kind of demon that even they are afraid of and usually keep on an isolated island, so whoever thought to send it to the human realm must be crazy! Faith feels like she is running all over Ravenholde, chasing the zombie dead led by an unkillable demon, as well as the sister of the most powerful witch in the supernatural prison, leading her around on a wild goose chase. The dark magic witch manages to leave her with a device that could topple the mundane world around her, having tricked her with her dark magic.
Faith is pretty alone in her hunt, with Grayson busy with Portals in the wrong place and warding the prison cells to keep everyone safe. She has to start listening to Carnell’s assistance, as he has a far bigger depth of knowledge about all things relating to the underworld as well as demons and other supernaturals. Even Cal the gargoyle she counts as almost an uncle, and Grayson come to her aid as the zombie undead manage to overwhelm her and she has to allow her succubus demon side out to help her heal. Kind of embarrassing where it happens and who she affects with her power, which she still has little control over! At least she gets a kill order from Lucinda for the zombie creating demon, who is too afraid to get her own hands dirty! At least Faith comes up with a plan to track the evil witch and takes some dangerous chances to try and keep everyone safe. There is still no clue as to who is trying to knock off one of the demon kings, to become a demon king themselves, but they have obviously managed to send many dangerous demons to the human realm and have some powerful allies who were already here to help them. So much more to come for Faith and the gang as they have to keep their world safe, even with idiots like Lucinda and Caton on the council hampering them and only interested in their own perceived power and status. She has solid friends and help on her side, as well as a fated mate and amazing warlock. Lots more to come and not a short road to travel to get rid of all these unauthorised demons, but at least it is never dull and the action just keeps on coming. Here is another adventure of bounty Hunter demon tribred, Faith, witch Eve, and Artemis� huntress Nishi. I adore this series. This book is the best one yet. You get to see more of how Faith deals with her grandfather, Carnell, and the Shrouded Nation’s Council. I still believe Caton is an idiot as is Lucinda. However, there are quite a few funny and scary parts in this book. There are so many revelations in this book. We learn more about dragons, gargoyles and what happened to the previous wolf Alpha and Glinda.
I am so heartbroken for Nishi and how she is dealing with Nate’s death. But, the interactions between my favorite women and their significant others, help with that- Faith and Greyson as well as Eve and Hunter are just awesome. They are so cute and hot together.
I still want to smack Rhain and Caton a lot throughout the book. We find out more about Glinda and her family. They are some scary pieces of work! Another person is kidnapped by the bad demons. This demon baddy in this book is the freakin scariest yet! Sheesh, that is saying something! I do not like zombies. Nope, nope. *shudders*. But they are a new twist about them in this book. I sped read through those parts because EW! Lol
I love how Faith makes fun of Caton and Lucinda. I laughed so hard I had to run for it to the bathroom. ^_^. Faith is so awesome and she will kick butt as does the rest of the good women of the group. The book went so fast, that I was like, wait� I finished it already? Yikes. So I can’t wait for the next book and to see what happens next.

This is an excellent series. I love how Faith becomes more. She is learning to show her feelings towards the people she loves.
She is learning to accept help from unexpected sources.
Her relationship with Grayson is getting more intense. And of course Brutus is still wanting his treats when she visits the prison. We learn what happens when he eats one of his favorite foods.
I love how Faith is inventive when it comes to her prey. And of course her joy with the new "toy" she gets to eliminate the next demon. One that the underworld fear more than any other demon.
Lucinda is still the "b" of the hour. She says the most ridiculous things. I do not know where her mind is but she's not helpful. The way Faith got her to help with a situation at the prison was priceless.
Cal and Carnell are of course protective. The way Cal pronounced his displeasure in the supernatural world was very good. Although I do not think Mrs. Harris approved much.
Well written with just the right amount of romance to the action filled story.
Can't wait for the next demon to appear.

Things continue to be complicated for our heroine what with kidnapped witches, demons and the undead, not to mention the lives of innocents in the balance. Some days it isn't worth getting out of bed.
This is book nine of the series and book four of this story arc. It does okay as a standalone, but it will be more enjoyable if read in order.
This is a paranormal romance story with witches, vampires, shifters and the whole lot. The story is well written and easy to read with a plot that nonetheless has a lot going on. The setting is well developed and quite intriguing, and I continue to enjoy seeing new elements of it. The characters are equally well done. I like our heroine as she is tough and smart, just the way I like them. Add in a plot with plenty of mystery and intrigue and, of course, magic. Overall, this was another excellent book and I look forward to more in the series.

Faith is starting to evolve and she might be able to figure out how to work on her issues if she ever gets time between demon crises. A witch has been kidnapped and the demon who did it shouldn't have been able to get out of the Underworld. The thing reproduces asexually by putting its egg in the brain of a dead....whatever. Eeh. The demon has decided Faith would make a good demon mama, but she has no intention of dying to facilitate this event. She is going to need firepower...actual firepower to beat this one.

Faith has had a lot happen some extremely unexpected..like being a succubus. But she is still a hunter and she's on the hunt for the minor demons coming through. Her uncle knows that it's only a matter of time before the main event occurs. Supernaturals were going missing and her job is to find them as well as stop the demons from coming through. But she needs to add to her arsenal. On top of that she has to figure out what her relationship is with Greyson. Life and death are two words but when applied to Faith that is her life or death.
Fascinating story that keeps building the suspense in each book.

A Good One !! . . .
Ewwww, I didn’t need to know about demon reproduction with those eggs! Faith is sure kept busy in this one! And of course nothing goes perfectly well. We learn a great deal of new information about things in general (and, as mentioned, some I didn’t need to know—LOL). The story line is well-written, suspenseful, and intriguing. The characters were amazing, as always. And this series still keeps the reader’s full attention! This is a really good one, so don’t miss it! (Now I comprehend the meaning of the title!)

I thought the book, which is a continuation of the Shrouded Nation series, was a fairly engaging book although possibly not the best series by these authors. The plot is throughout this book and the others is not very crisp, and I did have an issue with a reoccurring misuse of a term that has occurred throughout the series. I wince every time I see it and it appears numerous times in the series- the authors keep referring to what Faith puts her crossbow bolts into as a bushel, when the correct term is quiver!

That's not going to stop her though as she keeps on pushing through and getting the job done no matter what's thrown her way.
I love the way she heals and am curious to see what happens when Cal wakes up.

Faith and Greyson became an exclusive couple. Greyson helped her with different items to help her plus diffuse a bomb she held. Found the witch that had gone missing but then had to fight a demon laying eggs in dead people, had to get him in an area it couldn’t escape from to use a special ax then the flamethrower. She got him finally. Good book!.

I love this series!! Tia and Brenda have done an amazing job with this series. The story keeps getting better and better as it unfolds. The characters are so unique to say the least. Book 9 of the series, totally invested now that I don't want it to end. Not a standalone story, cliffhanger warning! Well worth reading!! I can't wait to see what happens next!!.

I love this series and with each book the story gets more intense and there is always something going on! This time a witch is kidnapped , demons are running amok and another witch with deadly intentions turns on the town and its people. Faith our kick ass hunter is on the case along with her friends all whilst trying to work out her relationship with Greyson. It’s exciting, it’s entertaining, there’s mystery, suspense and intrigue and it keeps you turning the pages from start to finish.

I love this fantastic, beautifully written exciting series, every book just gets more interesting and so action packed, riveting and spectacular. The characters are so captivating and diverse you just can’t stop reading about their stories, I love the growing relationship between Faith and Greyson, the constant surprises and always a new dangerous monster to battle. Spellbinding and delightful stories.

I adore the character Faith/Saber her use of words is just too much. She always makes me laugh even when things get messy. This time she is after a demon that cannot be killed easily. Also his children need dead bodies to survive and he wants Faith to be his baby mommy! A really good read. Can’t wait for the next book.

Yet another exceptional read, this series is one of my favourites so far , the fast pace, the mixture of excitement has you on the edge of your seat it’s a real page turner, if this is your first read I highly recommend start at the beginning.

I love a strong kick butt hunter and Faith brings it! This is a good addition to a series that I can not get enough of, but I recommend start from book one. I enjoyed this new book, and I recommend it!! I Loved this Series!!! Getting better every time! No Spoilers!.

Faith has a demon to find and a witch that was taken. She needs to talk to her boyfriend about where this is leading but there is only so much time! This was a great story and has you laughing at times! A wonderful series!.

I could not put this book down. I was hooked back into the story right from the start. Faith POV.
I love it! All the characters are Awesome!!!! I cannot get enough.

I have been provided with a review copy of Don’t Count Your Demons Before They Hatch from the author via Booksprout for an impartial review. I just loved getting to reenter this world. I was just drawn into this wonderful story and I just couldn’t get enough of it. It was just so easy to get lost in this great story. I can’t wait to see what’s next from this author.

Saber is an awe inspiring demon bounty hunter. This is a story of bounty hunting, friends, family and family not related by blood but still is family. Awesome book can't wait for the next one.

This book is an enjoyable addition to a series, I've enjoyed them all and would urge you to start reading the books from book one, but I warn you, you'll be hooked and want to carry on!
I love how the characters are evolving but especially Faith she's great!
