Grateful for this book at this time. I wasn't ready when I first picked it up last year. Now I want to begin again at the first page and believe I will pick this book up again and again for encouragement.

Книга эта, судя по названию, призвана заставить читателя отбросить все, что мешает, и идти вперед, но меня она отбросила на пару лет назад. Парадокс: я ожидала на крайний случай среднячковую книгу о тайм-менеджменте, а получила конспект проповедника.

По мере чтения мои воспоминания об американских церквях обретали все более явные очертания. Вообще в США церкви, кроме первостепенной духовной функции, служат клубами по интересам (там действительно веселятся, подтанцовывают, дружно поют христианские песни, никого и ничего не стесняясь). Вот и я как будто очутилась в клубе для тех, у кого полно неосуществимых мечтаний. По духу написания и общей стилистике эта книга похожа на сборник афоризмов, разделенных короткими вдохновляющими спичами. Проповедник Майкл разговаривал с нами в таком же духе, как и автор, Джон Мэйсон, с той только разницей, что мы научили его некоторым словам и фразам на украинском, которые он лихо позднее использовал в выступлениях (всегда к месту, что удивительно).

Хорошо, что автор смог ограничить творческий полет души 52 историями, иначе эту книгу дочитать было бы гораздо сложнее.
