Rate this book
Hidden away in the crawlspace of a bank during a robbery. An ingenious getaway plan overheard. A once-in-a-lifetime chance to get rich. Former criminal and air-conditioning repairman Reggie Stanchion finally appears to have gotten his life on the right track...and then today happened. On what should be a routine in-and-out job, Reggie instead finds himself stuck in the crawlspace of a bank during a violent robbery. As details of the robbers' getaway plan unfold, the scheme seems foolproof, leading to an alluring take this robbery over. Hurling into an all too familiar world he was determined to never be part of again, it doesn't take long before Reggie's in it deep. Shots fired. People dead. A long standoff with police. With time running out and the real bank robbers hell-bent on keeping what's "rightfully" theirs, Reggie may be in over his head with no way out. Can he leave his former life behind him or is the temptation too great? And at this point, does he even have a choice? Whatever he decides, he's already made some powerful enemies and now Reggie must face his most treacherous and unexpected challenge yet--getting out of the bank alive.

I loved this book! Lucky Stevens is a very good writer and the consummate storyteller. The book had both great action and character development--often hard to find in one book. As a fledgling writer myself, I was really impressed with Lucky's attention to detail. Good storytellers do their homework. Lucky did his when he wrote this book. We need more from Lucky Stevens. Please read!

Review:

"The Pull Out Method" by Lucky Stevens was one wild excellent read. This author is a very interesting storyteller in that each chapter will have you only wanting more. There was a lots of fast action that only keeps the reader in suspense....that I even found myself holding my breath and with a ending that will only have you saying .... I didn't see that coming! This was some bank robbery and leaving you to think...Was this poor hero was in the 'wrong place at the wrong time?

You will find so many twist and turns and with these characters who were all simply off the chart ....good....all being so well developed ...from Reggie, Grandma, Lulu, Travor, Mr. Gonzalez, George Sullivan, Wes, Bobby, Duke, Jerry White, Mike Story, Natalie, Chad Grey, Darin Kelley, Joseph Bleeker to Ralph and I am sure I have left someone else out....so you will just have to pick up this good read "The Pull Out Method" to see who that may be....along with what was up with the saying..."just making lemonade, baby. Just making lemonade." Also from this read you will get all of the why, what, who and how of it all in this well written read that you will not be able to put down until the end. This definitely was a page turner!

If you are looking for a crime novel with much suspense then I would recommend "The Pull Out Method" to you as a excellent read.

Reviews have to be fake

After reading all the reviews about what a page turner this was, I thought I would give it a try. Unfortunately, it went in entirely way too long. I skipped over parts of it. Do not believe all the other reviews.

I took a chance on this new author and was very pleasantly surprised. What really got me was the description on the back cover--very intriguing! If you like books where ordinary people are caught up in extraordinary situations, you will love this book. Twists and turns, nice pacing, and well-developed characters. Highly recommended!
