The Case of the Haunted Vampire
It's tough being a warlock in Washington, DC. Magic doesn't pay the bills, and sometimes you have to take on other jobs.
I'm Dafydd Smith, and I'm a warlock. No, not the "sold my soul to the devil" type warlock. The "male witch" kind. (Everyone gets those confused, so don't feel bad.)
One day I'm minding my own business, heading out for a bite to eat after a hard day exorcising ghosts, when I run into a vampire. Yeah, you heard that right. A vampire. With his fangs in some guy's neck. It was kind of sexy and scary all at the same time.
What did I do? Well, read on, and I'll tell you how I got rid of a ghost haunting a vampire. If you're a fan of Jim Butcher's Dresden Files, you'll probably like this one. Especially if you're into sexy, gay, magical heroes. (Yeah, that's me. Stop laughing!)
Oh, and just so you don't get the wrong idea, this story is really a novella. That's why my author priced it so low. (Darn her! I'm worth more.) But there's more tales (full novels) coming, so stay tuned. Hanging out with a vampire can get pretty exciting. Tell my author to get cracking on our next installment.

a fun, light, shortish paranormal story ... no romance but a budding relationship between a newly dumped gay warlock and a mysterious vampire who is haunted by the ghost of a previous kill. Sets up the pairing for further adventures

I was thinking what should I say about the book, and well, maybe I must start telling you why I read it. The reason is simple, even if I didn't knew the writer, I saw the price. Just $0,99 . So yeah, why I read it? Because I was searching a vampire book, and this one was too cheap to ignore.
So I got it... And love it. Full of sarcastic and hilarious moments, this is not a long book, but worth each cent I gave to buy it. BTW, I like it so much that I already got the second, , and will keep reading this series. Maybe I must just say something, forget it if you want a sappy romance. It's not the intention of the story. It's a funny adventure, of a warlock trying to help a vampire... And also find new clients to his vitamins... Yeah, you heard me well... The warlock, yes him, also sell vitamins.. Hummm... Nonsense? Read to know more :-p

PS: no sex content at all. So if you are searching a book without erotic scenes this is certainly perfect for you!
