~ I am wishing I had the book that went with this study ! I went through the study with my bible and a notebook and read what was in the study and the bible verses that correspond with the questions and it is a full and complete study of Christs Life and everything he dealt with and how we can learn to deal with life's issues by looking at his life and what he went through. I now want to get the book and read it and do the study, but this time I would like to do it with other women. I thoroughly enjoyed walking with the Lord through this book and being able to see that I am truly not alone in all areas of life. I think this study with Laura's book would be an excellent Ladies Bible Study ! I don’t think there was an area in my life that Laura hasn't touched on in this book. It helped me to really understand better even my thought process and even how the way I think or view things may be wrong. It is a great self study to bring you and I closer to the Lord in all that we do and say.

"Learning from the Master reminds me of a cozy mystery novel.
Little by little, with guidance and gentle prodding from the author, we discover Bible truths for ourselves. It's a great Bible study for any new Christian gal or for one who wishes to live the deeper life.
An excellent companion to Laura J Davis's novel, Come to Me."

This workbook, a companion to Come to Me, both written by Laura ÌýJ. Davis, is a comprehensive study from God's Word that forces one to self inspection and and then God inspection. ÌýWith lots of space for reflective answers, Ms. Davis leads the student toward an ever increasing walk with the Lord, deepening their faith along the way. She asks the questions, "What is control? I read this study guide along with the book, Come to Me. What a remarkable story. Laura found a way to bring to life the story of Jesus' life from Mary's point of view. While Laura's book is fiction it follows the actual bible and gives quotes along the way.

It's obvious that Laura Davis has done her homework and that she's passionate about her love for the Lord. She goes into depth that draws her readers in and helps them to understand the reason for Jesus being here and why he died on the cross for our sins.

The study guide challenges you to search your heart as well as the bible for answers. This comprehensive study is one of the best I've ever seen.

I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This book is a study guide for either individuals or groups who are reading or have read Laura’s book, Come to Me. (Read my review.)
It is a well though-out companion with both information gathering and detailed, though-provoking types of questions. The questions presented can be worked through at the belief level of the reader, whether that be a new Christian, a seeker, or a long-time follower of Christ. The questions and comments are challenging enough to make even the most knowledgeable Christian think about his or her beliefs. Although the book and study guide can be done on one’s own, working as a group will add an extra dimension and challenge for all involved.
I won this book in a contest but was not required to write a review.

I had the pleasure to review a powerful, hand on and practical hand book, Learning From The Master Living A Surrender Life by Laura J. Davis. We live in times full of uncertainties, fear, doubts and challenges, learning and adopting the value of surrender is nearly impossible if not for God’s grace. This book will provide you the required tools both to overcome fear and gain trust in God simultaneously.

I reviewed this workbook solely without reference to the novel and I receive it as my only remuneration for my independent review.
