This book is an adorable picture book that will inspire the creativity of budding young artists everywhere. Pinky Doodle is a tiny bug who loves to paint her thoughts on everything she sees. One day she realizes that her drawings needed stories. So Pinky calls on her friends in the forest to share their stories.
Many animals of the forest like birds, butterflies, bunnies, caterpillars and others relate their tales to Pinky. She eagerly illustrates each of them with her doodles. By combining their talents, the friends had produced a beautiful composition.
This book is told in simple, crisp rhymes, accompanied by vividly colored illustrations. It is sure to please readers from preschool age on up. It will even put a smile on the face of adult readers.

What a delightful children’s story. I am sure any child will find this a fun book and won’t want to put it down. Older readers will also be entertained with the rhyming words.
Pinky is a little bug who doodles on everything in sight � flowers, trees, walls � you name it. She is shocked to find out that drawing on everything is not such a good idea and is left a little perplexed as to how or why she should stop. She is saved by an amazing character who helps Pinky channel her drawings into a more positive medium.
There is no doubt in my mind that many children will identify with Pinky’s problem. I, for one, am always doodling and scribbling away and overtime, like Pinky, I have found I get into a lot less trouble when I avoid walls and furniture. I imagine many children will feel the same.
The illustrations are also a delight. They are bright and colourful and sure to attract everyone who picks up this book. They add to this light hearted tale and offer a sense of joy and fun.
I am happy to recommend this book. Grab a copy you won’t be disappointed.

Reading this book through much younger eyes, I'm sure that it would've been one of my favourites as a kid 20+ years ago. It's likely to be a favourite for yours now.
The illustrations are captivating and absolutely stunning. They're bright, unique and bound to bring a smile to your face, no matter how old you are. I love the message about creativity here too. Pinky has a lot of enthusiasm and she learns to use it constructively - all the parents say, "Amen!". She's definitely a character kids are going to relate to.
If you're looking for a fun book with a great lesson for your young ones, this is worth your time. Elizabeth, thank you so much for spreading joy!

A wonderful book for any child to not only believe but believe that they can achieve. Loved the colorful illustrations as well since they went so nicely with the rhyming of the story. Also enjoyed the addition of the doodle pages at the end for a child to doodle what they imagine. Cannot wait for my young niece to enjoy this book.

This book is amazing. Children will fall in love with the wonderful creative rhyming words with full colorful illustrations. The story is about pinky the little bug who has pure imagination. She seeks help from her friends who in return give her the right idea. The book is creative it helps children understand to set their mind with free imagination,spread their wings and fly!
