Sweet story about two people who've been friends since high school and discover their relationship has grown over the years to become more than they knew. A love story that has you cheering for the couple and wanting to knock sense into them at the same time...

Meant To Be is a wonderful story where you hope the two main characters can overcome all the pain of the past and become the perfect couple they have wanted to be with each other. I have known and married a man like Stan it was my biggest mistake but I got out before everything got worse but I knew the controlling ways I knew the not being able to be with friends I am glad that she was smart enough not to go back to him

I picked this up because I enjoy Denise Agnew's writing, and the blurb struck a chord with me...maybe I've been melancholy lately, maybe I've been thinking about thrift stores and flea markets and antiquing, or maybe I just needed something a little bit different. Regardless, I went into this book with high expectations of a great read.

And then I met Courtney. Damn, but I really wanted to enjoy this book. But I had a hard time with Courtney. I couldn't like her, couldn't empathize, couldn't figure out why Morgan was in love with her. Selfish, impulsive despite protests to the contrary, jumping to silly conclusions and not trusting her best friend and confidante for oh, say, 15 years. She definitely deserves prime spot on the TSTL shelf that I do not have. Yet.

An Okay read...Not the best friends to lovers story out there, but definitley a light, cute read. I finished it in 3 hours or so.

It was also my first by Denise A Agnew, and while it doesn't make me want to go out and buy all her titles, it does move all her titles that I already own, up higher on my mountain of a TBR pile :)

Oh and a small side note, if you're looking for.... heat...There's not to much in this one...It's not closed door, but it's not chock full of love scenes either.

Also, only one minor complaint..the end is a little abrupt, so if you don't mind that, than, like I said, it's a light read ...A good in between read.

I loved this book. It was sweet but ended steamy. A good quick read. It was fun! I like the 2 points of view stories where we know what the hero and heroine are thinking and feeling. Morgan and Courtney don't realize they are in love but just think of the other as their best friend. Other relationships haven't worked out in the past but once they realize they are more than best friends they are able to understand why other relationships haven't worked and are able to forgive each other and move on with their life together.
