Maise and Hudson wishes they were Meadow and Walker (iykyk).
I feel conflicted because the first half deserved literal jailtime jail time, but the second was acc funny.

I didn't like the fact it took them that long to give in to each other! The chemistry was there, the spicy scenes were good and plentiful, and the story was unique to me. I just hated how much time passed between them during the novella with them not acting on their feelings.

Closing out the series strong.
I really enjoyed this story. Not quite as much as the first book in this series but close. The tension was high and I thought there was a good payoff. Going on the reread shelf.

Hudson (grumpy billionaire that never smiles) has been getting massages in his office every Friday from Maisie (sweet ray of sunshine). She really wants him and he really wants her but neither of them will act on it. They do this song and dance for several months. She's the only brightness in his life. She slowly coaxes him out of his shell. One day, his assistant requests Maisie to come to his office for an emergency. Thinking he's hurt, she runs to him. No emergency was found. TO make it up to her, she says he should give her a massage. OMG things get freaking HOT from there.
I can't stress enough how hot this was. So hot. Like really hot. Just wish there was more sex.

I’ve taken up jewelry making and thus my reading time has decreased. Not sure if I’ll make my reading goal this year - though hopefully I’ll have some stunning bling. But one solution is to read more novellas. And for that, Cassie is my fave.
This is a short story about Hudson Kratz, an infamous, grumpy (and rich) businessman and Maisie, a massage therapist who gives him a weekly massage in his office to help him with stress. Unbeknownst to either, they both want each other and that’s the story outline.
Cassie strips her tales down to the quick and it works for me. Most of the time I want more but when I’m looking for something quick and simple, she’s my go to author and I’m glad I went for this book.

My favourite novella in the series! We follow grumpy boss Hudson and his massage therapist Maisie with both of them holding secret feelings for the other person. Overall, lots of fun to read and steamy romance to enjoy.

Every week, Maisie gives a massage to the grumpiest and surliest man in the city Hudson Katz, who's the CEO of his company. He doesn't like being touched and doesn't let anyone approach him, but Maisie is different. The way she treats him and dares to tease him makes him feel like he's never felt before, and now, he wants to see if he has a chance with her...
Uhhh...So the only thing this novella had for itself is the fact the hero was actually a grump. Other than that, it was a pretty boring read with a forced misunderstanding between two characters who obviously were crushing on each other.
Hudson was grumpy and a big introvert and it was sweet to see him try to be more agreeable for Maisie. As for her, she was sweet and teasing...I just didn't feel their connection much. Like I said, they didn't communicate well with each other, which lead to some forced misunderstanding and even for a novella, it dragged way too long.

It was a cute story but not as good as book 1 in the series but definitely better than book 2 .
I wasn't particularly a fan of how they turned their professional relationship into a series of hook-ups but they were both cute as hell together.
And I always love me some grumpy billionaire story.

The first book is still my favorite but I really enjoyed this one. Maisie is a masseuse and one of her clients is Hudson. Out of all the guys Hudson is actually grumpy. I didn’t think the other 2 were that grumpy. Maisie is such a ray of sunshine and Hudson is always scowling and angry. That of course doesn’t last long when Maisie shows she is actually interested in him. It’s fun to see the characters from the first book. This was a cute, fun read. A little spicy too!

He may not be able to stand anyone else, but Hudson finds himself drawn to Maisie, and when the tables are literally turned, things really start to heat up between the two. My reviews always contain spoilers, I write them so I can remember the story.
Hudson is know as the Midas Man, he’s very rich, very powerful, and very grumpy. His board noticing his stress set him up with a massage therapist, Maisie. She’s his opposite, she bright, bubbly, and very zen. He doesn’t like anyone touching him and the idea of a massage seems like torture but he finds himself looking forward to her visits every week.
Maisie is smitten with Hudson, she can see and feel how stressed he is, she does her best to get him to relax for her. The more time they spend together the more both crave each other. But neither says anything until…Hudson asks his assistant to request Maisie come for an extra massage visit. The assistant words it as an emergency, Maisie worried about Hudson rushes to him. When she arrives and sees he’s perfectly fine she gets mad at him. Not liking that he has upset her he starts to massage her shoulders. Maisie’s in heaven, she can’t remember the last time someone gave her a massage. She tells him they are going to trade places and he’s going to massage her. She takes her clothes off and hops on his massage table. Hudson is excited and nervous, he starts on her back and asks her to flip over. Not knowing where he can touch her she tells him anywhere he wants. Midas Man is no dumdum he kneads her breasts and soon is giving her an oral happy ending.
That becomes their pattern, they take turns giving each other oral happy endings but Maisie wants more. She’s afraid to ask for it, what if Hudson ends their arrangement? Not likely!
At the next appointment she pushes him for more and he cracks, he professes his love and they have their first time together, dual virgins. I love yous and and epilogue two years later with them married and expecting their first baby.

Dos 3 livros da série, esse era o único que a sinopse não despertou o meu desejo de ler. Contudo, só faltava ele, então resolvi arriscar. E achei bem razoável. Se olhar como Hudson e Maisie sentiam um pelo outro, até que seria uma história legal. Mas a forma como o relacionamento deles se desenvolveu não me agradou. Ela era massagista dele, daí foram vários capítulos sem desenvolvimento nenhum, só enchendo linguiça mesmo. Daí, de uma hora para a outra, eles começaram a se pegar, mas nem sequer haviam se beijado. E continuaram se pegando, mas sem se beijar. Foi uma coisa meio estranha, e pior: ele pagando por cada sessão. Pode até não ter sido rotulado assim, mas isso acabou parecendo outra coisa... outro tipo de prestação de serviços, se é que vocês me entendem. Achei bem desconfortável, nada romântico. Na mente de cada um, eles se diziam apaixonados, mas não demostravam isso. Parecia só atração física mesmo, e foi necessário a amiga dela apontar como essa situação estava estranha, pra ela acordar. Não me caiu bem, não.
A série poderia ter tido outro tipo de fechamento, pois os dois personagens eram super interessantes. Mas esse negócio de massagem íntima por troca de pagamento (mesmo que não tenha começado com essa intenção) deixou tudo muito incômodo. Não era o tipo de relacionamento que eu esperava ver entre os dois, não com a profundidade de sentimentos que eles alegavam ter um pelo outro. Decepcionante, até. Quando finalmente eles abriram o coração, foi fim da história. Nem deu para curtir, muito menos aproveitar. Uma pena!

I enjoyed this, Maisie is a sunshiny sweetheart, and Hudson is cold, aloof, like a robot, he has no idea how to interact with Maisie but he craves her. After she tells him it is her turn to get massaged, he readily accepts, and it is so endearing to see how he does not know what to do, does not want to touch what he is no aloud, but she encourages him and he goes down on her. I wish we could get more scenes of them, like one of her giving him a blowjob and reading his inner thoughts, but we didn't. Finally they tell each other that they love each other and have sex, but she initiated everything and there is one thing they didn't do and it bothered me......they never kissed on the lips. We did not get one sensual kiss or otherwise and it is so disappointing. I had high high hopes, it was close she kisses his chest and just as she is about to reach his lips they stop. GRRRR!!! I need them to kiss on the lips otherwise it feels so incomplete!
This also could have been longer, with scenes of them together as a couple with more romantic moments and more sex scenes, but it ends with a short epilogue and still, no kiss....
It's ok I guess. I am glad they were both each other's first that is my absolute favorite trope so I can forgive that.

After she tells him it is her turn to get massaged, he readily accepts, and it is so endearing to see how he does not know what to do, does not want to touch what he is no aloud, but she encourages him and he goes down on her. I wish we could get more scenes of them, like one of her giving him a blowjob and reading his inner thoughts, but we didn't. Finally they tell each other that they love each other and have sex, but she initiated everything and there is one thing they didn't do and it bothered me......they never kissed on the lips. We did not get one sensual kiss or otherwise and it is so disappointing. I had high high hopes, it was close she kisses his chest and just as she is about to reach his lips they stop. GRRRR!!! I need them to kiss on the lips otherwise it feels so incomplete!
This also could have been longer, with scenes of them together as a couple with more romantic moments and more sex scenes, but it ends with a short epilogue and still, no kiss....
It's ok I guess. I am glad they were both each other's first that is my absolute favorite trope so I can forgive that.

Part of the Unleashed series each can be read as a standalone in under an hour or so with a sexy grump and the women who makes him think twice 😊Massie is sweet with a little feistiness thrown works as a massage therapist with a grumpy billionaire every week, he is mean, has little care for others, but she doesn’t mind him so much he is his usual grumpy self just toned down a bit but she looks forward to his appointments. Hudson sexy as all get out billionaire who has no problem tell or showing people, he doesn’t like them, he can’t stand anyone but because he works around others a weekly massage is mandatory or that what he tells himself the truth is he likes his therapist and every week he looks forward to seeing her. The attraction was there and with each visit it grows so when his assistant calls for an emergency visit she rushes to over to find he is just fine to appease her he begins to massage her and of course that leads to something more but can he step outside of himself allowing himself to feel, will he realize she isn’t out for his money, will we find out why he is so grumpy, and will the grump find happiness?.

This is the third book in the Grumps Unleashed series by Cassie Mint. Although I loved the first two books, this one felt a little short for the time it took for Maisie and Hudson to act on their feelings, despite the evident chemistry and steamy scenes. Maisie, a massage therapist, eagerly anticipates her weekly appointment with her grumpy billionaire client, Hudson. Their relationship takes a turn when they give in to their attraction, resulting in a sizzling romance. This quickie novella delivers intense passion and a grumpy-sunshine dynamic. Mr. Katz has been Maisie's client for three months, and she yearns for a deeper connection, although she believes he avoids emotions. Hudson, a workaholic, finds solace in his sessions with Maisie but struggles to express his feelings. I adored these characters and was relieved to see the series improve. The instant connection between Hudson and Maisie, their fear of rejection, and their eventual realization that they are perfect for each other made for a super sexy and sweet story. The addition of 'Musty Rusty' brought humor, and the book concluded with a perfect happy ending.

Hudson and Maisie were super HOT! Hudson is the biggest grump there is with a perpetual frown and the stress of a massive company on his shoulders. Maisie is his masseuse, hired to help alleviate some of his tension and stress. I loved how these two were pinning for each other and wishing for more than their professional relationship. This book made massages even spicier than I expected with descriptions on how he feels beneath her hands. When the tables are turned, and he gives her a massage, things get even spicier. I also loved how Hudson used his grump and seriousness in the bedroom once things start to take a more personal and less professional turn. This fantastic story is concluded with a beautiful ending. I loved where Hudson and Maisie ended up at the end of this romance and couldn’t have been happier with their HEA.

Mr. Katz has been a client of Maisie's for the last 3 months. They have a routine, but each session Maisie leaves wanting so much more than just a client like relationship. But she's convinced Mr. Katz doesn't do relationship or emotions because it's too messy.
Hudson is a workaholic. The only bright light is his session with Maisie every Friday for their massage sessions. However, there's more than just client like feelings going on, but Hudson doesn't know how to express his feelings.
I absolutely loved these two characters. I'm glad that this series did get better after the first one. I was hesitant about the rest of the series, but so glad it picked up and got better!.
