Hi! I'm Steph, a new erotica author. My debut novel, Your Favorite Girl, an erotic romance thriller, hit the Amazon Erotica Bestseller list in its first week, and now I'm at work on the next installment in the three book series, His Favorite Girl.

I write with an emphasis on realism and aesthetics. I want it to feel real. Sometimes this calls for explicit descriptions and language. I urge you to pass my work by if you are offended by open sexuality.

If you're up for anything, take a peek at Your Favorite Girl. =)

I’ve been in a weird mood lately. I’ve been avoiding reading altogether because I’m tired of reading that same story over and over. I’m talking about those lovey dovey romance novels that make me want to slit my wrists with a dull razor blade. The author of this book messaged me that she had a free promo going on for this book and I thought “Hey, that would be perfect to read! I decide to peek at the 1 star reviews…yes, I said 1 star…because they are always entertaining. When one reviewer said “To brutal and sadistic for my taste I immediately one clicked this bitch! I LOVED this book! I just kept thinking “this is so sick and twisted…what just happened? damn, that’s kinda hot. NO, that’s totally fucked up. You shouldn’t think that’s hot. Ren, you’re fucking sick in the head. BUT I CAN’T LOOK AWAY!

Can you make sense of what I just said? It totally made sense in my head.

I came into this with an open mind. I always expect the worst when you read those disclaimers. Why these other reviewers didn’t pay mind to that is beyond me. I can’t even put into words how perfect this story was written. Almost every question I had was answered by the end of the story.(I’m assuming my main question will have to wait until book 2) I’m SO frickin happy that there wasn’t an insta-love thing going on. Yes, there was that instant attraction between the two, but it wasn’t acted on until late in the book. My only gripe was that Melissa, the main character, fell a little flat. This may just be me but she was kinda boring. She did have a bit of a mouth on her at times and I would have loved to see more of that.

The premise of the story was so interesting. Seriously, who thinks of this shit? It was brilliant! Genetically modified sex slaves? That’s wicked! The author even goes into detail on how they are created. It gives it this sci-fi feel and makes the book edgier. If you are looking for a great erotica that doesn’t skimp on the story then this is the read for you!

This is a strong 3.5 but i felt it deserved a 4 more then a 3. I liked this although it was weird. there were lots of uncomfortable parts but I find that I want to read more to know what happens next. I feel some parts need a bit more work but overall it was a good read. Not for those easily offended. I like the idea of the girls and I'm looking forward to seeing if they can save them or not. I want to see certain characters gone.

***RRC received by author in exchange for an honest review***

Umm.......well I don't even know where to start!
That was just......weird???

My assumption was that I would be reading what the book description had said:

" Your Favorite Girl is best described as an erotic romance thriller, the first in a three-part series."

What book I got was a somewhat erotic, thriller, Sci-fi, BDSM, murder, drugs, sex slaves, sadist, violence, kidnapping, and rape.

I don't read any Sci-fi. Ever. It's just not my thing, so when in the first 20% we have a sex machine woman clone, that cost one million dollars per day, and turns you into a non stop sex addict, from the drugs the 'fauna girl' excretes, from her ever ready sex body, I was a little taken back!!

This is a well written book, please don't get me wrong there, I just believe that the books description should state what the book is actually about!

I was curious as to where this book was headed, and as such read through, just to find out what happens with Melissa. So I guess you could say It was indeed a good enough book , that kept me going, even when I didn't want to? Lots of twists and turns.

Not sure as to wether or not I'll be reading the next two books, even though we were left with a cliffhanger.

If the book description was a little more accurate, I wouldn't have read this in all honesty, as I said before, I don't like sci-fi, that is why I am giving 3 stars, where people into that genera would probably rate it higher? It was a 2 star story line and an extra star for the authors writing ability.

I really had a hard time deciding what I wanted to say in my review about Your favorite girl. The book is a very intense erotic thriller. For months all we had to go on was the teaser the author had put up on amazon. That teaser was just enough to make me keep checking back for the full book, and I can't lie I really wanted to know what happened after that short teaser. I checked amazon and Steph Sweeney's blog endlessly for a word on when it would be published.

And so without further ado...

Melissa Reed is living the kind of life women on the outside looking in would love to have (or so they think) Her husband Ted is a millionaire but that is where the story book part ends, she catches him cheating with the young neighbor girl and realizes this is probably not the first time or the first girl. She goes as far as letting the girl into their sex life, thinking by some chance it will make things work out, which does not help other than make her even more hurt and furious about her faithless husband.

After snooping in his wallet, she finds a card for "Your Favorite Girl Inc."

Melissa decides to see for herself what exactly "Your Favorite Girl Inc" is. She is under the assumption it's a adult club or escort service of some sort; however what she stumbles on is an underground company that creates, manufactures and sells -- live sex dolls. They make a variety of dolls, after a tour of the business and experiencing what a few dolls can do Melissa decides to buy one for her cheating husband to teach him a lesson.

The tables turn very fast once she returns home and the doll is delivered. Her husband is blown away when he finds out what she has purchased for him. Things go absolutely crazy after the doll is unpacked and let out.

I really do not want to give away any spoilers at this point or anymore of the story. The story has to be read to be experienced.

I remember when I was a teen watching the original movie The Stepford Wives and I always wondered what really went on because the movie only gave you hints and glimpses at the erotic edginess of the story, well the author has taken you into the world of underground sex dolls, and the science part of the book is probably the part that really caught my interest as much as the intense feeling of the story as it unfolds. The plot is complex but solid and it pulls you in, the characters and the sex doll descriptions are very vivid. There is lots of dark, hot, sweaty dirty sex and the tension is enough to make this book a real guilty pleasure read. Now that it's finally here I can honestly say it was worth waiting for. There is another book coming, I believe it's actually a trilogy.

I will be waiting for the next books, patiently? probably not...

I wanted to like this book and, judging by the reviews, a lot of people did like it. I didn’t. It was OK, but not special, only odd, or quirky. I have four principle issues with it:

Issue one: It’s a never-ending tease. You are told about all the awful things that go on in this unbelievable place, but nothing ever actually happens to anyone you might care about. A lot of talk and no action. A lot of threats, but no delivery. I got the feeling that the author was afraid to commit, for fear of frightening the delicate readers. I’ll admit that I like the heavier BDSM, body mod, and fetish novels, and this book did not step up.

Issue two: The characters do not behave logically. The main characters, of whom there are a handful, don’t act like people do, especially when faced with a lunatic situation. The author tries to use hidden meaning to convey mystery, and all it leads to is a convoluted premise and people who aren’t acting at all like their background, experiences, interests, and situation would lead one to believe they should. Yes, there are goofy drugs involved, but that is the only case where the characters actually DO act like you’d expect. One of the weirdest characters, Kate, is the only one whom I thought behaved as expected.

Issue three: The suspension of belief is never-ending. I am willing to suspend belief for the sake of a premise once, twice, or even three or four times in a novel. For example, an author gives you a paranormal episode where you as a reader are expected to swallow it, it’s established, and then you move on to a logical, reasonable storyline. Time travel romance does this all the time. That’s OK. But in this book, the reader is faced with unbelievable situations and behaviors on almost every page. It’s too much, and, as many reviewers have already said, it just makes the book weird.

Issue four: The book isn’t that well-written, in spite of what other readers have said in reviews. There are inconsistencies. The author continuously uses “I as an objective pronoun. In dialog, who the speaker is isn’t always clear. Editing is good, not great.

Your Favorite Girl is a combination of poor scifi, teasing erotica which doesn’t deliver, a bizarre plot, illogical characters, and a few barely decent sex scenes. Not my cup of tea. That said, a lot of reviewers thought it was just right for them. Not I.

Your Favorite Girl ended up being a very refreshing novel to read. It’s very different from other books I’ve seen recently, and I’m very glad I read this one.

What I really liked about this book is that I didn’t know where it was going to go next. The story just keeps unfolding and unfolding with more and more plot points that kept me flipping the pages needing more. Just when you start getting a handle on the situation, there’s another slight twist. This book is part mystery in the sense that a main goal Melissa has is uncovering just what Your Favorite Girl, Inc is. It’s part romance, but it’s a difficult romance to place, and that made things fun. It’s also part erotica. When you have Your Favorite Girls in the mix, there’s no way things can get sexy…and this novel is sexy.

I think Sweeney did a great job in setting up the characters in this book. They’re very well-developed and each play a role in the story’s progression, no matter how small of a point. There are even some minor characters that I grew fond of, even in the short time that they were part of the story. I hope that others, who seem to have a larger, but still unknown role, come back in book 2 to play their part.

While I enjoyed this book from beginning to end, I felt that there were only a few things that fell flat. In no way was this a bad book, but there was some room for a little extra umph during some key plot points.

Despite the rare dull moment, there was a plethora of great material in Your Favorite Girl. Book 2 can’t come out soon enough. I was left NEEDING the next installment, and that’s always a good feeling (even if it’s torturous at times).

This book is not for me.. I didn't like that she is the second wife, caught him cheating and goined in the fun (I don't mind this bit as much the joining in.)then she gone and bought/hired a submissive and the bodyguard killed her husband ... I could go on forever what I din't like about this book. But I wont, just going to say this storyline din't do it for me.

Melissa finds out her hubby is cheating on her, she goes through his stuff and finds his “little black book. Strange though, it only has one number in it, that of ‘Your favourite girl inc. at first Melissa assumes that it’s an escort agency, but when she makes an appointment she discovers that it’s so much more. The creators of the most exotic sexual pleasure devices even created. What follows if a turn of events Melissa could never in her entire existence been prepared for.

Look I know I’ve given this book a low rating but don’t take this score the wrong way. I’m am not giving this score because it’s a poorly written book or that the author didn’t fulfil the expectations of the erotica genre. I am giving the low score because I personally didn’t like the book. I bought this book thinking that it was going to have a Lesbian storyline but was bitterly disappointed that it was a typical erotic novel bordering on porn written for straight men or straight women with a tinge of F/F content for thrills. I’m sure if picked up by the right audience that they would be very pleased.

I did not know what I was getting myself into this kind of book I was thinking this was going to be a brothel or escort type of novel..what I discovered was quite well written, different and out of the box. This book had so many different levels of intrigue that I wont ruin them for you. This is a trilogy but this novel alone can be a standalone there is no large cliffhanger but of course you know the story isn’t finished at all.

Melissa Reed intends to buy a “sex doll from Your Favorite Girl Corporation to revenge her cheating husband Ted. It turns out the “doll she chose emits two overwhelming drugs that completely overwhelm the senses and people have been known to sex themselves into their own death. Each “sex doll sells for 1 million a day.
Each potential buyer can peruse which “girl he/she wants and they choose between a few dolls such as Flora, Doll, Diamond, Frog, and Vampire. And each type is altered to fulfill a kink or desire. Flora emits : love, Doll: doesn’t talk or move Vampire bites and so on. Each doll emits such a strong drug that you cannot help the immediate attraction/addiction
Melissa chooses Flora knowing the crazed desire her cheating husband will have …when flora emits her drugs it turns into a battle between Ted (husband) and delivery driver (Mr. Moseby)..which results in death...Melissa runs away and is caught by the corporation doomed to face death by YFG corporation or a lifetime of slavery.
. I didn’t cover any of the awesome scenes so you can be amazed and go on the thrilling ride yourself.
Here’s a few of the “dolls

Flora:

Frog Girl:

Patton and Melissa <3:

The sex scene between our main love characters in this is fun, new and creative

There is F/F, M/F romance here…so if one of them freaks you out please don’t attempt to read this book and leave bad reports due to not being your style. This book is also published as erotic romance thriller..so of course there will be language, nudity and sex.

FYI:There are some graphic and repulsive scenes

i have to first say i got this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

to all my friends, there is no cliff hanger ending to please feel free to read this book. i still think you will be wanting to read the 2nd one right away, but it wont leave you frustrated.
this book was like nothing i ever read before. this was such an interesting read, that i spent my whole Saturday having to finish this book before i did anything!
there most likely be spoilers in the book because i might not be able to contain my excitement for this book.

Melissa Reed is living the kind of life women on the outside looking in would love to have (or so they think) Her husband Ted is a millionaire but that is where the story book part ends, she catches him cheating with the young neighbor girl and realizes this is probably not the first time or the first girl. She knew that this would happen because when she turned 18 she was able to have ted leave his wife for her. She goes as far as letting the girl into their sex life. when this girl goes to college it only made the married worse beacause her faithless husband misses her which makes Melissa very angry and almost in raged.

After snooping in his wallet, she finds a card for "Your Favorite Girl Inc."

Melissa decides to see for herself what exactly "Your Favorite Girl Inc" is. She is under the assumption it's a adult club or escort service of some sort; however what she stumbles on is an underground company sn their own sexual experiences themselves. Melissa always had a thing for women so she didn't feel bad about doing it. now after this is over she finds out that they make numerous kind of sex dolls that are like humans. after sees first hand what a bunch can do she buys own her for husband because she wants him to pay and also loose all his money in the process. she thought it would be a great way to teach him a lesson.

The tables turn very fast once she returns home and the doll is delivered. Her husband is blown away when he finds out what she has purchased for him. Things go absolutely crazy after the doll is unpacked and let out. but things go very wrong

Melissa finds herself in a situation that she feels the need to help all the others and even get herself killed. this is where you will have to read the rest of the book to find out what i am talking about. just know that there is a lot of sex, action, lies, and much much more. this book will leave you wanting more.

Oh now that was just wrong!! What a mean evil Author! The build up to Patton and Melissa! To finally getting that close and then she gives us a lil peek and then I get a "To Be Continued". GRRR

This book is unlike any I have read before. I don't know what I was expecting when I started this book, but what I did get was...unexpected. This has a strong story line. It is different to say the least. Their is just so much about this book that is wrong on so many levels. I mean...damn, I can't say it with out giving it away. Just as their were many things wrong with this book their were just as many thing right about it. I find Melissa to be brave, strong, feisty and not afraid to speak her mind even when it could mean her life is on the line. Patton is brilliant and trying to make a bad situation right.

This book has a slew of main and important characters.

Melissa is a wife of a millionaire who caught her husband cheating and plots her course for revenge.

The brothers who run Your Favorite Girl

Patton- in charge of health, wellness and education
Brain-In charge of Research and Development
Sean- In charge of Security and Employee Management
Clifton- In charge of Maintenance and Custodial **Creepy as fuck**
Mr. Shriver- In charge of everyone

Kate-what a bitch

This book was intriguing. It kept me guessing almost the whole time trying to figure out what was going to happen next and who if any Melissa could trust. But also it was a little creepy. I couldn't help but devour each page. I just had to see what was coming up next.

I have to know what happens next. I don't have a choice, I just gotta know.

When young Melissa finds out that her rich older husband has been cheating on her with the newly graduated high school girl from down the street, she tries to make things better. A threesome would fix things, right? *Insert sarcasm* Melissa goes snooping and finds a mysterious business card for Your Favorite Girl Inc., thinking it’s just an escort service she makes an appointment that will change her life forever.

Melissa shows up at the address, a jewelry store that seems harmless enough. What Melissa doesn’t know is that there is a strange world that she is about to enter. She meets Kate, beautiful and tan oozing with sexuality who introduces her to the “Favorite Girls, genetically altered sexual creatures.and that is where my interest died, almost. The schmex in this book is incredible, if mainly girl on girl does it for you. Melissa and Kate form this weird relationship based on the “Libido Drug designed by the company, lots of alcohol, and of course weed. Melissa is determined to save her own “Favorite Girl Flora, and destroy the company.

As I read I just wanted the story to end. The story line was just odd to me, and the characters were weird. If you enjoy other worldly stories than you should definitely read this book. Personally, I did enjoy the sex in this book, when it wasn’t too.what word am I looking for…creepy? The sex is what bumped my stars up a half a notch. The story doesn’t end on the last page, it will be continued in the next book. I will be reading it when it comes out because, well, I need to know where it goes from here!

4-4.5 erotica stats !!!!
Woooowww !!!! This was an unexpected bit of awesome !!!

I picked this up as a FREEBIE yesterday . Just wanted a nice bit of erotica in-between beta reads :)
HOLY CRAP !!!!
I did NOT expect to be up reading till 2am bcoz I COULD NOT PUT THIS DOWN !!!!

Ok so 1st warning !
If u can't handle F/F sex scenes in a book then u will not get past the 1st chap

2nd warning :) there is some ...ummm ... Almost taboo subject matter ( I say ALMOST bcoz ..... Well I can't think of a better word to explain it lol )
I will say that there is a sexual abuse theme to this book . That is usually pushing my limit BUT the way this is done is very clever . the author has removes the "unwilling participant " part of that scenario ..... Crap !! I know that sounds totally confusing !!! But I can't tell u anything else !!
I'm a NO SPOILER girl

This plot had me soooo gripped !!!
This might be my "dirty little secret" genre :)) but I think this is a great book for the average reader to stretch their limits on ;)

Soooo if u like a bit of erotica with ur romance then this is a book to pick up

I will DEFINITELY be looking for more in this series & from this author !!!!!

This is not a F/F novel ! It is also M/F ....VERY M/F lol

This book was provided to me by Kitties Like Books too

You can visit her awesome blog at

I must say, I am happily surprised! At first, I thought this book would be mainly centered on erotic scenes, with a weak story line. After reading the first 20%, I had difficulty keeping interest and I thought I had figured out where this story was going. But then, the plot started developing and the rest of the book kept me on the edge of my seat!

I would describe this book, which is the first of an obvious series to come, as being erotic, a little futuristic and very intriguing. I cannot wait to see what's going to happen next! I am also looking forward to read again about the gorgeous Patton and his relationship with Melissa...

This book is well written, the dialogues and characters are realistic and believable. The story line is surprisingly strong and well built. I give it 4 stars out of 5 on goodreads (because I really liked it) and 5 stars out of 5 according to the Kitties like books criteria.

Shiny! Get sucked in by a great read that has as many twists and turns as an action film and much sexier action at that. Melissa was a teenager happy to seduce a million and lure him from his wife, but she's got vengeance on her mind when it's obvious she's being supplemented by the 18 year old down the street. The setup is perfect, but when she checks out Your Favorite Girl Inc her unspoken need for revenge takes on new form. You'll love Kate, her sexy selection assistant. And the gruesome interruption of Melissa's tour doesn't stop her from picking out a Flora to give to her cheating millionaire husband.

And that's the warm up. Once Flora arrives, all hell breaks loose. Very sexy, unbelievably twisted, and frequently orgasmic hell. To say anything more might ruin the steady stream of surprises and sexual encounters that play out. So I'll leave at this: get this book, get on the ride, sip on a cocktail, and rocket off at a dizzying pace that amounts to a sexual nuclear bomb.

What a truly unique story, I have read over 200 erotic stories and NEVER read anything like this.

I really don't know how to tag this book or what category to put it. There is a cheating scene of sorts, but it is short lived and sets the stage for what follows. There is a ménage scene but I wouldn't tag the story as one of ménage. There is a FF scene but the story is not lesbian erotica. It does have some questionable/dubious consent.

So what would I call this story? An erotic thriller - full of intrigue, sex & murder, mystery, love, loss, survival!

The author came up with a novel idea and made it work, well for me anyway.

This and more reviews at The Book Bar.co

Rating: ; I am going to burn in hell for this one!

Only one chapter in, I thought to myself, "I can't! This is just blatant porn for the sake of selling a book." I told Jen that I couldn't go on. This is just not my genre. Your Favorite Girl's blurb doesn't address the craziness that grabs you by your guilty conscious and has it's way with you. BUT... AND THIS IS MY BIG BUT... the story is so crazy, it's captivating. The writing is so flipping detailed you are there, and some times you don't want to be there.
I saw that even through the buzz of the Libido Drug. Ìý The look on his face made me feel like a little girl alone at night, her eyes adjusting to the dark and too afraid to look directly at the figure taking shape in the corner.
Sweeney, Steph (2013-05-13). Your Favorite Girl (YFG Series) (p. 61). Kindle Edition.

Melissa, the main character and self-proclaimed heroine, starts off very differently. Bi-sexual, hyper-sexual and very 'ok' with screwing people over, both figuratively and literally, wants to give her cheating, millionaire husband payback. She learns of a company, Your Favorite Girl, which creates (from genetic goo) sexually perfect women. The company foresees the client's addiction to the creation, ultimately draining their bank accounts to maintain the sexual dependency.
“What did you do when you found them? she asked.
“I joined in,â€ I said. Kate's eyes flashed with surprise. Ìý She must have thought me prudish. Ìý Then again, compared to her who wasn't?
Sweeney, Steph (2013-05-13). Your Favorite Girl (YFG Series) (p. 14). Kindle Edition.

Melissa's introduction, and the majority of all the characters, are introduced with this blatancy. It was like we couldn't move forward in the story until we knew how sexually depraved the character was. And this is where I think I may burn in hell... the story started to sound like . A very broad jump, but still. A manipulative company that feeds the horny needs of society, while reducing them to shells that can later be disposed of.
"You're right," I said, straining to force out the words. Ìý "I guess I'm just a little creeped out. Ìý Level A was the worst."
"Stinks, doesn't it?"
"Yes! Ìý What is that smell?"
"The incinerator."
"Why do they have an incinerator?"
"To burn the bodies," she said.
Sweeney, Steph (2013-05-13). Your Favorite Girl (YFG Series) (p. 123). Kindle Edition.

Melissa's world starts to fall apart and it's up to her to rescue herself and those that are being taken advantage of by "Your Favorite Girl". Of course it doesn't hurt to have a handsome sidekick that shares her beliefs. Melissa's edge never leaves but it does smooth a little. She lets down her cover of being sex-crazed and her personality becomes a little easier to swallow (ha, I crack myself up).
"You're amazing," I said.
"Thank you."
"I don't have any talent."
"I'm sure that's not true. Ìý You just have to find something you love and commit to it."
"That's always been my problem."
"Committing?"
"Finding love." She turned and pecked me on the cheek with a kiss, then whipped her head back around quickly, smiling.
"Nice," someone said.
Without looking back, I shot a middle finger in the air, arousing laughter.
"If you can love yourself, it spreads fast," Flora said.
"That's easier said than done." She hit the last note in her song and in her hiatus wrapped her arms around my waist.
"You'll figure it out," she whispered. Ìý "I promise."

Holy crap! I had to finish (ha!). Power through the uncomfortable parts to get to the lesson, the story unraveling beneath it all. I believe, deep down, that this book could have been Top Shelf for me if the gratuitous sex was implied rather then descriptive. HOWEVER, I think Sweeney knows this. She knows that 'sex sells' and she has a story to tell. Good Luck Steph. I can't wait to keep reading what happens to Melissa, the better brother and her Favorite Girl.
