Loved this follow up to Nikki Powergloves: A Hero Is Born. A fun, zany read with even more characters and special abilities than the first book! I think the special "superpowers" these kids get are just amazing and incredibly creative. The creation of a special world that the kids hang out in was especially cool. Basically, its "headquarters" for the heroes. Just about EVERY SINGLE KID would love these stories! So fun and entertaining with good lessons to boot!

Nikki Powergloves and Spencer can defeat the villains but it's easier with the Power Council(The superhero group) I hope people read Nikki Powergloves! I really like that there's villains not just about superheros. I like it because it shows the good and bad in people.

I got a copy for review in exchange for an honest review.

I really enjoyed this second book in the Nikki Powergloves series. The story continues and there is a new adventure waiting for Nikki. It really is a fun book to read and so different from the books I normally read. It is nice to read about kids and superheroes for a change and it makes me wonder why there are no books for older audiences about superheroes.

Nikki powergloves has a great story, although the one thing that keep surprising me is that Nikki and Spencer their parents never find out about anything. The story keeps moving forward and never get's boring as Nikki has to deal with problems, but also has some fun in between. The story is full of action. The story is a bit predictable, but it is really fun an enjoyable so I don't really mind.

I really liked getting to know more characters in this book. Although we don't get to know much about most characters, I still got a sense of who they are. I think Nikki is a great character that really cares about her city and tries her best to use her powers for good. And Spencer is a really awesome side kick.

There even is some world building in this book. There is more about the different powers of the kids and other things, but I am not going spoil that. And at the end there is hinted at more that will be revealed in the next book.

To conclude: Nikki Powergloves is a great book, that reminds me of superheroes series I watched when I was a kid. The story is full of action and it is a fun and enjoyable book.

Review by my son, 9 years old

This book was the best book out of all of them! I think it was the best one because it had alot of action and adventure and it was cool the way Nikki found some friends that were just like her, kids with superpowers!

Review by Me

My son and I were honored by Mr Estes to be Beta Readers for this children's series and I could not get my son to let me have my turn with this book until he read the end of all of them! The story continues with Nikki and her sidekick, Spence. The story definitely develops well and characters continue to amuse.

I love writing for kids because it's such a fun way to share my love of reading with them. In this book you'll meet three more kid superheroes and two more kid supervillains. ENJOY!!
