I cannot believe that some evil genius, and I say that very lightly, had the brains to plan something such as this. However, little did they know that Batman would be there in disguise to shut down all of there evil plans and to save the day as always!
Batman novels by Super DC Heroes are clean and wholesome. I never have to worry about what my child my hear and learn when reading these novels to him, they never disappoint and I am always able to say that justice prevails through every trial that the hero must face.
In this adventure Batman must go undercover at a super villains convention to find a doomsday devise and get it away from the villains before they can set any plans in the works. This is a great story about Batman and how brave one has to be to take on those you fight.
Unlikely as it may seem, Batman finds himself at a Super Villain Crime Convention. He attempts to attend the Convention disguised as the mobster Matches Malone, but is soon discovered. Though he is greatly outnumbered and in peril of his life, Batman manages to locate and retrieve the “Cosmic Obliterator,� capable of destroying a planet, and escape -- thanks to Robin’s intervention.
The plot is thin and the humor is forced, but fans of the Dark Knight will be drawn to the graphic novel-style illustrations and the brief text, which they will be able to easily finish . High-low readers will enjoy the familiar dialogue. Although $25.32 seems a bit pricey for the slender volume, the hardcover format will outlast flimsy comic books.
I found this to be a really interesting book! I love Batman and this book really brought out a new type of hero. The characters were really well developed and there was a lot of action it it!
