When there’s kind of an author’s note that says “Jenna is a steamy lesbian romance author of fast-paced instalove romance. Expect them to be over-the-top, absurdly ridiculous–but always with a happy ending.�
Maybe believe them when it says over the top and turn away then.
This is like an hour or two I will never get back and I’ve got no one else to blame but myself. I figured it was 77 pages long, and what could it hurt? My sanity that’s what.
All of this was just YIKES.

This was a cute book. While it felt like it was lacking something I can't quite put my finger on, I still really enjoyed it. I loved how fast paced it was. And it was quick to finish. I'm looking forward to continuing on with this series.

This sapphic smut book is hilariously bad. It felt rushed (granted, it’s a novella) and is riddled with typos and grammatical errors (switching between tenses). The quote that stood out, “Yes, we are getting married; love can come later.� Excuse me?

I'm speechless but not in a good way 😐.
2 Stars because I was warned that this book was going to be over the top and absurdly ridiculous... I just didn’t believe it.

I've read several of Jenna Kent's books by now and so I generally know what to expect. Her books are all usually fun and a quick read good for a palette cleanser. Instalove and sapphic and ridiculous.
But I must say that this book is one of my least favorites of hers. The voices of the two main characters kept accidentally melding together to where at points I couldn't tell who's POV I was reading, and the big climax kind of fell a bit flat.
Of course my general 2 star rating is that the book is okay. Not good but not bad, and I stand by that here. I read it, but the probabilities that I will think of it within the next few hours.

Editing
This book desperately needs editing. There’s so many scenes that don’t make any sense, sentences missing words, punctuation all over the place and it just makes for a seriously confusing read.
It was also very repetitive. Like we get it, Dani is a dominant femme. It’s already been said 100 times.
I was also seriously lost due to things going suddenly missing, like clothing. She’s suddenly in boxers and a bra and the next sentence she’s in the shower. Did� did she strip first?
Also, why is this girl wearing a bra to bed?!?!?

There were some thrilling moments in this one!
The first book in the Billionaire series - a good one to start it off! Dani and Lillian are crushing on each other, but it's complicated in a workplace environment... and also, that Dani is the boss. When a misunderstanding causes Lillian to quit, Dani seizes the opportunity to make her move.
Over-the-top, insta-love, "you're mine now" romance! These stories are awesome!

Amazing author, Jenna has done it again. What a captivating, heartwretching story. And the steamy 🔥 moments from the lovers, intensify their feelings as soulmates. I loved this instalove Domme and Sub story. My only complaint was sometimes who was talking got confusing, or who chapter it was. But the story has the perfect amount of plot to dirty steamy sexy times!

I love Jenna Kent and her writing so when this book showed up on my kindle home page I was sold 🧎🏻♀️this is a insta love story. I absolutely loved Lillian and Dani. They were hot beginning to end. I enjoy Jenna's books and I can't wait to read more.

3 stars. This wasn’t bad. The ex drama took a turn that I didn’t see coming but it ended up being anticlimactic as hell. It was strange and rushed. Lillian and Dani were cute though and that epilogue was super adorable.
