This was a very fascinating story. I haven’t read any of the other books in this series, so it took me a while to really catch onto all of the other couples and what has been going on. You can’t help but pull for Willa and Jasper as they middle through some very challenging times. I plan on reading the rest of this series and can’t wait to see what happens in the next book. I was given an ARC through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This series continues to get more and more complicated as the plot twists and turns through each of the books in the series. Donna Grant has a unique way of intertwining series, characters, and plots to make one epic and fantastic experience. I have followed Donna through the entire Dark World series for year now and am a huge fan and the deeper the arcs get the more interested I find myself. With this latest installment in the Skye Druids series, Donna takes us into the story of two people on opposite sides of the war that suddenly find themselves drawn together and having to come together to find the real enemies out to bring down those out to end all Druids and their allies. Willa Ryan is running for her life after taking a stupid risk, but one she’d hoped would pay off in the fight against the enemy, and now she is not sure she will survive long enough to make it to Skye and the safety of the Druids and her brother. She arrives on the island, but she is barely conscious and is discovered by Jasper McCabe, but he is much more than an innocent bystander. Jasper is on the island on a mission, one that puts Willa right in his sights and he will use his considerable skills of deception and seduction in order to find his way into the Skye Druid’s inner circle through Willa. But Jasper soon comes to understand that he is on the wrong side and that the connection he feels for Willa is very real and he is risking everything fighting a battle not his own. Working with Willa and the Skye Druids might be the only way to redeem himself, but the enemy is determined to make sure that he doesn’t live long enough to make a difference, and Willa has to risk it all to save the man she is coming to understand that she is falling for. Can these two enemies turned lovers find a way through the darkness or will they lose their one chance at a love greater than they ever imagined?

I was thrilled that we would get to meet Willa, Scott’s sister, and she would bet getting her own HEA, but I was very surprised that she would be faced with the challenges she was. She was a strong character, but once she was hurt she allowed the anger and betrayal to hide the hurt. It was obvious that she feel hard for Jasper and that he almost broke her when he betrayed her, but I wish she had been more willing to listen and forgive as it was obvious he’s had a difficult and lonely life while she was always loved and cared for. But it was great to see her finally learn to stand up for herself, with the help of some of the other Skye Druid ladies, and demand her place on the team. Jasper was an enigma for sure, but it was also obvious that he’s had a lot of time in his life that he was alone, especially once you learn the truth of his original and his youth. While it is true that he lied to Willa and the others from the beginning, he didn’t do it maliciously or without a logically reason –in his mind—so I think he deserved more grace than he was offered by most of the team. I loved to see how he turned up and proved himself, fighting hard to show that he was a good, man, but we should always be given some benefit of the doubt and not have to almost kill ourselves to prove our goodness to others. There was obviously chemistry and a connection between Willa and Jasper from the beginning and I enjoyed seeing that become love, even if it did seem very fast.

The overreaching plot within this story became super complicated as the couple of plot lines we were dealing with before seemed to have multiplied as the story concluded, instead of any one of them wrapping up. I understand that keeping plots open to extend the series is a good thing, but I would have loved something to have a conclusion. To be honest it is becoming harder and harder to write the reviews on this series because it’s nearly impossible to do so without giving something away. That said I loved the story and am looking forward to reading the next in the series, though I continue to hope we get back to the older format where the romance and the emotional growth of the couple gets more page time. Whatever comes next for the series, which I get the impression might be Carlyle’s story, I can tell you I am dying to see what happens will all of these individual plot lines and the overall weave of everything together. Donna’s dexterity with a complex narrative is comparative to a master weaver with a beautiful tapestry and I cannot wait for the final masterpiece.

Endless Skye brings us back to the Skye Druids and introduces us to Willa and Jasper. I really liked Jasper and Willa both, although I have to admit to being more fond of Jasper after you read about all his background. Their story isn't an easy, straight-forward romance, the book has an interesting twist. Then there is the battle that's been brewing since the previous book (if you're not familiar with the series, start with Iron Ember which is Willa's brother, Scott's story), Heart of Glass. There's a lot of magic, good vs evil and more going on this wonderful isle. This is a wonderful, story with strong characters, a continuing plot (you can read it as a stand alone but it's better as part of the series) and good fights between good and evil. Really enjoyed this story.

Intense and Emotional.

I absolutely loved this book. Donna Grant knows how to keep a person glued to the story as she paints word pictures that vividly bring the characters to life.

This amazing story pulled us back onto the Isle of Skye and into the world of the Druids, Fae and Dragon Kings. Just when you think they have sorted out and suppressed the uprising against their kind, yet another threat emerges. I loved both Jasper and Willa with their individual stories and insecurities as their intertwined stories began to unfold. It was also very satisfying to see familiar characters from previous novels take active roles in this story.

Willa and Jasper meet under unusual circumstances and have an immediate mutual attraction. However, they seem to be on opposite sides of the growing conflict. As they learn more about each other and the opposing factions, who will they side with? With lots of suspenseful action and an increasing sense of menace, Endless Skye includes Reapers, Dragon Kings, Warriors, and MacLeod Druids as the Skye Druids battle George and Beth's malevolence. As always, there is an Epilogue that hints at what comes next in the world of the Skye Druids. Looking forward to future novels in Donna Grant's Dark World.

Thank you to NetGalley and DL Grant, LLC for a free ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Endless Skye (Skye Druids #4)by Donna Grant
This series is fantastic - I felt as if I was there sharing what was happening. This is Willa Ryan and Jasper McCabe's story. There are so many old friends and enemies and so much angst, deception, evil, magic, mystery, also family love and devotion, romantic love, some laughs, plenty of tears, and plenty of steam to get us to a very HEA. The story and evil isn't over and I can't wait for the next book STILL OF THE NIGHT!
Reasons I enjoyed this book:
Action-packed Scary Page-turner Informative Entertaining Romantic Tear-jerker Steamy Great world building Easy-to-read Happily Ever After Witty Wonderful characters.

Willa’s brother asks her and their father to get a very powerful book. Willa believes family is most important and tries to get the book. After trying to steal it, they are almost caught and her and her father Luke separate. Willa is running for her life and is rushing to get to Skye where her brother is. Willa is injured and goes in a ditch and passes out.
Jasper is the one to find Willa and get her help. Jasper has many aliases and was sent to meet Willa at the exact time he found her. The more time he spends with Willa, the worse he feels about his deception. But will he lose her when she finds out he is there to spy on them?
Deception. Magic. Secrets. Sex. Jasper has known nothing but to con people. Willa loves her family and will do anything for them. Great story. Can’t wait to see whose story is next.

This series just keeps getting better and more intense with each new book. These Druids are in a fight for their life against some evil power hungry enemies. With every new secret we find more layers.
Jasper is a spy sent in to learn all there secrets but the more he learns the more doubts he has. Willa has never been to Skye before until circumstances push her there. I’ve fallen in love with these people and all the complexities that make them unique.

*Received an ARC for an honest review* Ms Grant’s books hook me from beginning to end. They keep me hooked so I can’t put them down till I’m done and this one was no exception. Willa and Jasper have an immediate connection but they seem to be on opposite sides of the war that is brewing. Each book gets more intense in this series and this one was no exception as we draw closer to the ultimate conclusion. This book had a whole gambit of cast from Reapers and MacLeod Druids, to Dragon Kings and Warriors. It was a really good read and I’m super anxious to get the next book.

Wow! What a rollercoaster that was! We literally hit the ground running with this one! Seems like everyone amped up their game and it was hard to catch your breath. Willa and Jasper have such chemistry I hated to put the book down to deal with real life. While everything on Skye continues to build with layer upon layer of tension, the details are slowly combining to what I certain will be a breathtaking crescendo. I love how everything fits together so intricately like a massive jigsaw puzzle.

4.25stars-ENDLESS SKYE is the fourth instalment in Donna Grant’s contemporary, adult SKYE DRUIDS paranormal / fantasy romance series -a spin off from the author’s REAPER series which in turn is a spin off from the author’s many interconnected series and stories. This is Druids Willa Ryan, and Jasper McCabe’s story line. Willa Ryan is Scott’s sister (Iron Ember #1). ENDLESS SKYE should not be read as a stand alone- I recommend reading the series in order, as well as DARK ALPHA’S COMMAND (Reaper 15) for back story and cohesion as many of the events of the current time line are as of a direct result of the events in Dark Alpha’s Command. Several characters from the other series including Reaper Balladyn and Druid Rhona (Dark Alpha’s Command) and some of the original Dragon Kings (Nikolai) and Reaper characters appear as secondary and supporting characters.

SOME BACKGROUND: Months earlier, betrayal and vengeance forced a take-over of power on the Isle of Skye but someone or something is killing the Druids, not only on the Isle of Skye, but around the world including Edinburgh Scotland. With the focus on the death of the Druids on the Isle of Skye, Balladyn and Rhona (Dark Alpha’s Command/Reaper 15) begin an investigation that reveals a danger targeting the Druids and the MacLean family, in particular.

Told from several omniscient third person perspectives including Willa and Jasper ENDLESS SKYE follows Willa Ryan, on the run, from a powerful group taking aim at the Druids. Along with her father, Willa planned their escape but Willa was attacked, and barely made it to the Isle of Skye where she will meet fellow Druids Jasper McCabe, a man with a special ability that may save them all but Jasper has a secret that is about to be exposed, threatening the lives of the Druids on the Isle of Skye. What ensues is the building romance and relationship between Jasper and Willa, and the potential fall-out when the truth about Jasper is revealed, and our couple are targeted by someone determined to destroy them all.

The world building is complex and detailed as the killing mist is but the least of their worries. Unable to determined to origins of the mist, the Druids on the Isle of Skye are facing two more adversaries that have targeted anyone with magic and power, and there may be a traitor in the mix.

The relationship between Jasper and Willa begins as a lie. Jasper is not whom he proclaims himself to be, and his sudden appearance on the Isle of Skye is questioned, especially in the face of his quick seduction of our story line heroine. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.

Like the other instalments, there is large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters from Donna Grant’s numerous interconnected series including Druids, Reapers, Dragons and Fae: the TruthSeeker Esther and her mate Nikolai (Heat/Dark Kings 12); Elodie and Scott, Edie and Trevor; Rhona and Ballady; Mason, Krisi, and Callum. The requisite evil has many faces.

ENDLESS SKYE is a comprehensive and intricate story of madness and obsession, power and control, secrets and lies, forgiveness and love that follows several intersecting paths and developing stories. The premise is thrilling and suspenseful; the romance is seductive but predicated upon a lie; the characters are desperate and dynamic.

This is book 4 in the Skye Druids and while it could be read as a standalone, I would absolutely read the previous books before this one as they have a bigger series storyline at play as well! Passion comes with a price. For Willa Ryan, family is everything. So, when her brother asks her to locate a book of unparalleled power, she doesn’t hesitate. Except she does more than find it. She attempts to steal it, and in the process, ends up running for her life—straight into the arms of a man waiting to rescue her. Jasper is unlike anyone she’s ever met, and she’s helpless to resist the undeniable passion between them. But desire always comes at a cost. Jasper McCabe is a master of disguise and deception, and he uses both ruthlessly. Yet nothing can prepare him when he comes face-to-face with the breathtaking women he’s supposed to use for his ruse. Every instinct screams for him to run as far from Willa as he can. But there’s no escape from the captivating Druid and the feelings she awakens. With his darkest enemies closing in, Jasper is forced to choose with his heart, or lose the woman who is his one chance at salvation.

I was not expecting the way this book turned out! I really didn't like Jasper at first. He seemed so deceptive and I was expecting him to be some sort of huge bad guy. And then, well, he wasn't! And when he realizes exactly the type of people he has been aligned with? Well, he chooses the right path! And I loved that! Willa is a strong, stand up woman who will do what she must. Even when she knows she may be hurt or killed. But she is also slightly naive and just trusts people too easily. Not that that is a bad thing, but it definitely isn't always good either. Ok so now why I didn't give this book a 5-there is so much going on that at times I feel like I don't know what is going on. I have had to backtrack and reread parts because I missed something or thought I did and end up confused. That's not to say it's bad, because it not. But there is a LOT going in these books, and you absolutely have to pay attention and don't miss any of the books. But that is just how great this author is at building worlds and stories that keep building that bigger story. I can't wait to read the next, and I really can't wait to see how everything turns out with the big bad!

From the moment I cracked open Endless Skye, I braced myself for yet another emotional rollercoaster and Donna Grant did not disappoint. Honestly, at this point, I should just start wearing a neck brace whenever I pick up one of her books, because the plot twists come fast and furious enough to give me whiplash.

Grant has an unparalleled knack for raising the stakes higher than the heavens themselves. Just when you think she’s hit her limit, she smashes through it like a Dragon King breathing fire on your expectations. And speaking of darkness the Skye Druids series takes it to levels even her shadowiest parallel stories haven’t touched. It’s deliciously intense, the kind of storytelling that sinks its claws into your soul and refuses to let go.

The plot is a labyrinth of secrets, hidden truths, and enough crossover characters from the Warriors and Dragon Kings series to make your head spin (in the best way possible). I find myself impatiently flipping pages, desperate to see how Grant plans to weave all these tangled threads together. Honestly, if she could just drop me a timeline or a color-coded chart, I’d frame it like a sacred text.

Then there’s Jasper the bad boy, the conman, the liar... the man who stole my heart the second he showed love for his horses. Watching him unfold layer by layer was pure magic. Grant has an undeniable gift for crafting morally gray men with hearts of gold, the kind of characters who linger in your thoughts long after you’ve closed the book.

Willa, on the other hand? Let’s just say she wasn’t my favorite FMC. No spoilers, of course, but she grated on me in ways I can’t quite articulate without a dissertation. And yet, even when a character doesn't click, Grant's storytelling prowess is so powerful that I stayed completely hooked.

With every book, Donna Grant cements her spot in my personal literary Hall of Fame. She writes with the kind of passion and precision that makes you ache in the best way possible. Endless Skye isn’t just a book; it’s an experience a wild, untamed, and utterly unforgettable journey through magic, love, and the endless chaos of the Druids world. And honestly? I’m already impatient for the next ride.

Willa Ryan’s attempt to steal a particular book goes horribly awry. She has no choice but to flee to Skye to join up with her brother and his friends. Willa manages to reach the isle only to succumb to her injury. She later learns that a mysterious man saved her. Jasper may be the only person who can properly heal Willa’s wound. Will Willa be able to trust Jasper? Can she help the Skye druids fight against their dangerous adversaries?
Jasper McCabe is a grifter a person who adopts identities to con others. He agrees to get close to Willa to infiltrate her brother’s network of druids. Everything about his latest job feels wrong, especially when he finds Willa injured. Jasper cannot help but be captivated by both Skye and Willa. The druid makes him rethink his career choice. Which side will Jasper choose? And what role does he play in the upcoming battle?
I only have one real problem with Willa. Basically, I did not like how easily she divulged certain information to Jasper. I know it was necessary for the story’s pacing. However, it just felt wrong, especially for a person you are not sure you can trust. I did get bored with Willa’s sibling squabbles with her brother. Yes, I understand she chaffed under his overprotectiveness.
Jasper is a con man with principals. He only steals from the rich, he never takes all their money, and no violence. I like that about his personality. I honestly did not know what a “grifter was until this book. It is something I never heard used before.
ENDLESS SKYE is the fourth book in Donna Grant’s paranormal romance series, SKYE DRUIDS. This series is yet another spin-off from her others (DARK SWORD/DARK WARRIORS, DARK KINGS/DRAGON KINGS, and REAPERS). The SKYE DRUIDS can be read separately; however, it is better to start from the beginning to understand the world and the troubles each set overcame to this point. Characters from the other books do make an appearance, such as the MacLeod Druids. It is nice to see the Warriors again. I miss them!

Becoming immediately immersed in a book.......PRICELESS. And that's exactly what Endless Sky does.

This is Willa and Jasper a.k.a. Travis's story. However the a.k.a for Jasper is revealed later in the book in a most good/sad tear enducing way.

You know that old adage, " there are two sides to every story?" Well, Jasper got his eyes opened to that when he met his "mark," Willa, set by none other than George. You see, Willa was harmed by Beth's acolytes in the worst way imaginable for a druid to be harmed, short of death. George claims no knowledge of this particular order so we know it's all Beth.

Willa barely makes it to Skye before hitting a road sign and passing out from blood loss. Jasper was waiting in the wings for her, per his orders, and thank goodness he was. He saw what happened and immediately went to help. That got him to staunch the blood flow long enough for the DI and her brother Scott to arrive. She gets the healing she required to save her life.

That being said, Willa finds out it was Jasper that found her and literally kept her from completely bleeding out and wanted to personally thank him. Who wouldn't, right? That fits right into George's plan of Jasper seducing her to gain access to the inner group but it seems to surprise him that she'd show up at his door to thank him.

She takes him out for a meal and that as they say, is that. Jasper and Willa feel an immense pull towards each other. She trusts him from the jump, so much so, that she tells him her whole story, including everything about George and being in the organization at one time. This is how Jasper learns of the second side of George's story. Which side does Jasper choose? Read, read, read the book.

Not only is that going on, but Beth is nastier than ever and up to more dastardly antics. She kills someone who ends up being close to a star character and doesn't stop there. She continues by harming dozens and dozens of more INNOCENT Skye druids. In the same way she did Willa. I'll tell you what, Beth needs done to her, what's being done to Sydney.

How will it end for Willa and Jasper? Do we find out George's fate? Or ever Beth's? Read to find out.

It's an action packed, emotions enducing and at the right times, spicy, fast read because you just won't want to put it down. It's the perfect next is series that will have you waiting with bated breath for the next book.

P.S. I just wish something at the end would have been added........4 names. If that intrigues you, grab the book.

In Edinburgh, Willa Ryan, is running away from druid hunters wanting to do her harm. Willa must find a way to escape from them without getting caught herself and find her father. Willa hides away in a night club thinking it’s the best place except she is left injured. So, using the last of her powers she manages to steal a car and mobile phone from some very inebriated guys, and make her way to Skye. Before Willa passes out though, a handsome mysterious guy-Jasper McCabe comes to her rescue. Jasper notices that Willa is severely hurt by ebony wood, which is dangerous for any druid and could end up slowly killing her. Jasper also has a secret agenda he is actually working with the other side and Willa’s greatest enemy. Jasper must take down Willa’s family and Willa without them knowing by seducing Willa without falling for her too.
This is such a wonderful paranormal romance with druids, magic, mystery mayhem and other creatures all combined beautifully! Ms, Donna Grant really knows how to write captivatingly, pulling you into story. The only problem I had at first was understanding the premise. Then again this is mostly my fault because this is the fourth book in the series, so should I have read the others first? Probably so, because it took a while to understand what is going on. I mean eventually I got the gist of the story and got involved in the story, but it would have been really helpful if I read the rest. So, can the book stand-alone? Yes, it somewhat can but it might help to read from the start of the series. I really did like all the characters though especially Willa. She was a great feisty heroine! While Jasper was her perfect counterpart even though I craved his whole story. Will I read more in the series even without reading the others? No, in fact, I plan to go back and the from the beginning and do look forward to the rest!

The Skye Druids and their allies form even tighter bonds while they are being threatened from multiple known and unknown enemies.

I really liked Jasper. He completely owned his unsavory past and did all he could to make it up to Willa and the rest. I was not always so fond of Willa and her impetuous nature. She was very quick to share everything with Jasper, though I’d have thought she’d be more wary of strangers, especially an unknown Druid. And when his secrets came to light, she was understandably hurt, but her reactions were definitely ruled by her emotions.

The action and magical battles were thrilling with a lot of separate threads coming together, but also creating more tension and questions. The best part was how Skye and the Druids there kept luring all of George’s best people away from her delusional clutches.

It is exciting to have so many of the amazing heroes in this world working together, but their slow progress can be very frustrating at times. Balladyn is the best, as always.

The Skye Druids series form part of Donna Grant’s Dark World universe. You can start this series without having read any of the other books, but I would recommend you read this one in order at least. If you like intense chemistry, spectacular magic, dragons, Fae, and Druids, then this is the series for you.

Thank you to the author for providing me with a copy. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

What does Donna put in these books crack? I am hooked on her writing. She is one of my go-to authors because she always delivers.

This series is no exception. This book starts with a chase that gets your heart going. So buckle up for a whirlwind tour of 'Endless Skye', where intrigue, magic, and romance collide like never before. Picture this: Willa, on a mission with her dad for a powerful book, ends up injured and in the path of Jasper, a charming grifter tasked with spying on her. Instead of sticking to the plan, Jasper finds himself playing nursemaid to Willa, and boy, does the plot thicken!

Skye is in a tizzy with invisible threats, missing fathers, and a Druid showdown looming. Willa and Jasper's dance around allegiance, power, and a little thing called love makes for a page-turning extravaganza that'll have you hooked from the get-go.

With ancient grimoires, shadowy figures, and the fate of Skye hanging in the balance, 'Endless Skye' spins a tale of adventure, betrayal, and, yes, steamy romance that's as enchanting as the island itself. As alliances shift and secrets unfold, you're left hungry for 'Still of the Night', the next chapter in this magical saga.

Dive into 'Endless Skye' for a magical, adventurous romance that's sure to pull you right in, proving itself to be an unputdownable journey through the mystical and mysterious, with just the right sprinkle of romance to keep the flames burning.

In this next chapter of the Skye Druids, we meet Willa & Jasper. Willa, Scott’s sister (his story is Iron Ember), tried to get a powerful book with her and Scott’s father. They were separated, and Willa made her way to Skye, but she was injured. Jasper was sent by George to Skye to infiltrate the Skye Druids. He was not pleased with how badly Willa had been injured, but he played his part. As usual with George, she never tells the whole truth to those she sends to Skye. George is working with another foe of the Skye Druids, and this only leads to more issues for those on Skye.

Jasper has spent his life as a grifter, so he is good at playing a part to get the info he needs. He didn’t plan on his feelings for Willa. Willa, though “healed by the Healers is not fully healed and her brother is being overly protective. He doesn’t trust Jasper, but Willa is drawn to Jasper anyway. Jasper finds out he can help Willa with her injury, and we learn that the reason he can is from something in his past that that he is unaware of.

I really enjoyed this book Jasper is a character with layers (like cake & I really like cake!) and Willa stands on her own, with her foes and her overprotective brother. Every time the Druids on Skye get one step forward, it feels like they are forced two steps back which means I can’t wait to see where Donna Grant take the Skye Druids next!

After an attempt to take the book of magic, Willa and her father split up, planning to meet on the Isle of Skye. In her flight from the city, and trying to shake Beth's goons, she is stabbed with a piece of ebony wood - which can be fatal to Druids. She makes it to the Isle barely alive, only to be saved by a handsome stranger.

Jasper has been sent to the Isle of Skye to try to penetrate the group that is determined to bring down George and Beth. His opportunity comes when he's able to save Willa when she arrives on the Isle. As he learns more of Willa and of the group, he begins to wonder how much of what George told him was the truth.

When his ruse is discovered, the group confronts him, only to learn he's already told Willa everything. His plan to confront George and her half-truths, the group asks him to help them instead - using the fledgling relationship with Willa as a cover. Jasper's connection to the Isle was not a surprise; but how he is connected was.

While I enjoyed the book, I'm not a fan of the deception. Even though about 1/2 way through it, the deception plot is revealed. I was expecting something to come from Ester and Henry, and was disappointed there was nothing.

I will say I'm looking forward to the demise George and Beth. I feel the plot behind them has strung out too long. Also with Edie. Her issues with her husband and family are getting a bit old to read. I would like to know more about this new "ancient" and how her end will be brought about.

Endless Skye is the 4th Book in the Skye Druids series and is Willa and Jasper’s story, while you can read this book on it’s own you’ll be missing some important background stories from the previous books in the series.

The story opens with Scott’s (Iron Ember) sister Willa being pursued by members of the Druid Others faction after she and her father (Luke) attempt to steal a grimoire that leads to her being injured as she flees.

Jasper is a spy sent in by the Druid Others leader (George) to learn the Skye Druids secrets by getting close to Willa and seducing her, but he very quickly begins to question the intent of the Druid Others when he finds an injured gravely injured Willa. Jasper quickly realizes that George and her allies are willing to kill members of their own group and realizes he may have aligned himself with the wrong side. As Jasper gets closer to Willa and the Skye Druids he has a change of heart and agrees to work with the Skye Druids to help them fight against the Druid Others and their other enemies.

The book open with a bang and the action doesn’t stop. Donna Grant (evil genius that she is) doesn’t end Endless Skye with a neatly wrapped up story, there are several cliffhangers that will have repercussions for characters as the series continues. I can’t wait for the next book!

The intensity grows

Donna Grant takes her readers back to the Isle of Skye and introduces Willa Scott and Jasper McCabe in ENDLESS SKYE, Skye Druids #4. Once again Donna has delivered a suspenseful, action fill, romance story which brings together friends and enemies (old and new). Lies, deceit, angst, love, all combining to illicit varying emotions as the story progresses.

Willa flees to Skye, and her brother Scott, after finding herself in trouble and seriously injured. She's met on the way by Jasper, and they form an immediate connection and a mutual attraction. Willa and Hasper were wonderful characters, their backstories supplying some wonderful insight into their lives. What will happen when they find out they are on opposing sides? Willa and Jasper were terrific together, the friendship that developed highlighting the different perspectives they have on the battle that looms.

I love that Donna brings back some favourite characters from her previous books, it was amazing seeing them once again. As the final battle looms closer the intensity grows, evil is becoming more widespread, who will win? Next up is Still Of The Night, and I can't wait as Donna has me sitting on the edge of my seat as the suspense builds.

Willa has escaped Edinburg and is going to Skye. She had an agreement with her father that if they got separated, they would meet in Skye where her brother Scott lives. She has been injured though and is not doing well.

Jasper finds her and calls for help. They get her to the healer's, trying to save her. It seems Willa, a Druid, has been infected by a wood that is deadly to Druids.

Who would do this? George and/or Beth. They want to kill all the Druids on Skye and want power.

Meanwhile, Willa has gone to see Jasper to thank him for saving her life. To thank him, she takes him out to dinner and they hit it off. Her overly protective brother Scott is not feeling very good about Jasper though. He doesn't know him, trust him, or want him around his sister.

Who is Jasper? What is he doing on Skye?

As the danger to all elevates, truths come out and life-changing decisions must be made. Will Jasper and Willa be able to explore the attraction they have toward one another?

Great story from Ms. Grant as always. She has such a way with words and just weaves them into a brilliant story. We feel her characters as if we know them. I loved what she did with the characters of Jasper and Willa, how life-altering events force them to take risks if they want to save their lives and their love.

I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This series just keeps getting better and better. There is such a wonderful world already built around this series that there's so many fun characters to learn about. We've got dragon kings, druids, warriors, and the Fae, so the opportunities are endless (see what I did there?)!

This book is about Willa, who is on the run from the bad guys and headed to Skye. Her very overprotective brother is already on the isle and he's none too pleased with how close to death she shows up. Jasper, too, is on Skye but for a completely different reason. He's a bit of a grifter, hiding in plain sight and working for the bad guys, though they've convinced him that the Skye druids are the true baddies. Once he meets Willa, though, he starts to reassess his path. These two have sparks flying almost right away, and while I hate a misunderstanding/breakup scene, this one was done really well. Jasper takes some good steps along the way to cement him as a good guy in my book.

There are a lot of surprises that get thrown in here along the way, but I don't want to spoil anything. Familiar faces show up, there's some good finality to some of these longer storylines, but ultimately this is a bout Willa and Jasper (and some horses) finding a happy ending. If these books keep building and getting better, I don't want them to ever end!

In ENDLESS SKYE - Willa Ryan almost dies trying to find a book that is so filled with power that it is a danger to all Druids especially in the hands that it is in. She is rescued by Jasper McCabe who might not be lucky to be there - it may have been a darker plan.

Jasper is a man who knows how to live in dark deception as easily as most live in the light. Something about Willa and the words she says to him about what had been happening on Skye and to the Druids around the world ring true. And absolutely the opposite of everything he had heard from the people he was supposed to believe. He will have to listen to his heart or lose the only woman who could hold his heart.

Welcome back to Skye, the Druids, their lives and their enemies. Willa and Jacob are a perfectly matched couple and from the start you can see the problems he is having with what she says and what he sees of the Isle of Skye, the feelings being there gives him and what he had heard. And though you know he is in league with the bad guys, you are immediately sympathetic toward his quandary and wonder how author Donna Grant is going to bring the HEA so many of her readers demand.

Read ENDLESS SKYE and for all the danger, intrigue, twists and turns, romance and mayhem that will come your way.

The first thing that pops into mind when I see this book is that I love that some powerful characters are mentioned and we get an explanation as to why they aren't helping considering the dire situation our characters are in. Erith and Constantine are absent but I hope we will get to see them soon, maybe in the final battle because one thing is certain and that is the very strong power the main bad guy (or gal) has. Now that I have gotten that our of my chest let's move on to the actual commentary/review. Other than a semi-obvious twist, I found the book very enjoyable and addictive. Well, the twist wasn't a bad thing, and I was excited to see it happen so even that doesn't count as negative. Jasper and Willa's story was excellent and I liked their romance even if they spent most of the time under some not-so-good circumstances. My favorite part was Jasper's individual arc because he started on the wrong side of the battle and he had to become a worthy guy for Willa and me. I do think that if someone hasn't have read the other books in the series might feel a little lost, but the author does a good job at explaining everything and it was easy to enter the Skye Druids world. I would definitely recommend the book.

One of the things I love about reading is when there is no clear obvious ending. I love solving puzzles and a phenomenal author satisfies this part of my brain. Another thing I love is detailed expansive descriptions of people, places, and things.

Author Donna Grant pushes all these buttons in this exciting Book 4 of the Skye Druids series. The author pulls you in with a solid plot and interesting characters so right away from page one the reader will feel committed to reading the book in one sitting.

Chapter one grabs the reader with an extremely fast paced mix of intrigue and danger involving Willa and her father Luke Ryan. Willa is the primary female character in this book. If you read any of the previous books to this series, you would have met her brother Scott and Elodie from Iron Ember Book 1 of the series.

Jasper McCabe is the primary male character and though I liked his character and his role in the book I did not feel he was as dynamic as the previous male characters in the other books to this series. Though to be fair he was the perfect male counterpart for Willa in every way.

I enjoyed this book and gave it 4.5 STARS.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are mine.

ARC Review

Willa Ryan, the sister of Scott Ryan (Iron Ember) is on the run from George and the Edinburg Druids when she is attacked. She manages to escape and barely makes it to Skye before passing out on the side of the road where a stranger finds her.

Jasper is a drifter and a con artist. He finds Willa and gets her help but he isn’t the hero Willa thinks he is. He’s working undercover for George to get close to Willa and Scott to get information.

When Jasper discovers that Willa’s injuries are far more serious than George let on he begins to question everything he has done and whose side he should be on.

Willa for her part is far too trusting and gives Jasper all the information he wants without difficulty much to her brother’s dismay. Scott is the only one who gets a bad feeling about Jasper.

As Jasper begins to fall in love with Willa, it becomes harder and harder to use her and lie to her but telling her the truth means he could lose her.

There are quite a few twists and turns and a new villain starts to gain more power. Our heroes gain a new ally but don’t make a lot of progress.
