The terrors of Colin’s past are revealed and accepted by Natalie. Her doubts about letting him into her life are finally disbanded and replaced by a sense of security and commitment. But Natalie doesn’t know that Colin’s past hides more dark secrets unknown even to him.

When a delusional psychopath threatens Colin’s life, things quickly become complicated. Natalie’s stubborn character and desire to kick ass won’t let her step aside and allow the authorities to handle the danger. She gets herself tangled up with street hoodlums, befriends a Russian mobster’s high-maintenance girlfriend, and becomes expert at picking locks and hiding evidence.

This contemporary romantic comedy/mystery blends humor and sensuality with enough thriller elements to make you clutch the pages with terror. The offbeat characters and witty dialogue from Almost Matched are here to stay.

A LETTER FROM THE AUTHOR:

Dear readers,

I love hearing from you, so please visit me on Facebook and many other social media sites (links below), or write to me here, on ŷ.

I have some facts and news to share with you:

Due to some serious health and family issues, I was on a few-year sabbatical, which means there were no new books published after December 2014, with the exception of a few multi-author anthologies I was invited to participate in.

In September 2016, I came out to publish the second edition (rewrited) of my dark romantic comedy series the Almost Bad Boys, and then I was back on my sabbatical.

Currently, all my books are pulled out from the bookstores to be republish under a different pen name.

I am also very excited to announce that I am working on the Almost Bad Boys series spinoff titled The Girl, The Knickers, and The Bloody English. It is Ali's and her love interest's book and even more hilarious than the original series. Wait to meet that super hot, witty and assertive man from London who'll sweep Ali off her feet!

Another novel in the works is Refuse Me, book #3/standalone in the romantic suspense series the McCoy Raven Brothers. It is a MC (Motorcycle Club) romance, and I can't wait to share the Nash's and Avery's story with you! I'm also toying with the idea of writing a whole new MC romance series based on the Refuse Me characters and their motorcycle club, the Hell's Ravens.

So, I have a lot on my plate, but I'm very happy to write again. I have the covers for both of the mentioned earlier books ready, and they will be revealed as soon as the books go on a preorder on Amazon.

Again, feel free to contact me with inquiries.

Best,

Angela

Almost Broken Up starts off with a pretty good bang. The prologue is told form Colin's pov and you finally get to see what happened the last few moments that Faith was alive.....

I enjoyed this book a lot more. The steam factor definitely picked up and there was a lot more action. I feel as though I understand Colin a little better and I appreciated the lengths that Natalie went through just to protect him.

Overall, I found this book to be enjoyable. I was very happy that there was no cliffhanger this time. I'm definitely looking forward to the next book and to seeing what is in store for Colin and Natalie next!

Things are better between Colin and Natalie, but now things from Colin's past are trying to threaten their future. When Colin and Natalie go out one night, Natalie steps outside for some air and is attacked by a man who calls himself Razor. He gives Natalie a warning to give to Colin. He has no idea who this man is so they blow it off as he confused her with someone else. While Colin is out of town on business Natalie and Ali go out and run into a Russian woman that has a problem. They take a liking to her and help her. Come to find out she is a girlfriend of a Mafia boss.

While helping her out they have a very interesting night. Then when Natalie gets home she gets some disturbing phone calls. She calls her new Russian friend for help and tries to find out who he is.

My opinion: This book isn't so much about Colin and Natalie but more of what Natalie will do in order to protect Colin. It was a great book and I couldn't put it down. It had lots of drama and action in it. And some steamy scenes with Natalie and Colin. It starts back with a flashback of what happened with Faith and how Colin was after. And the girls make a new friend who is very interesting to say the least. I look forward to reading more by this Author. I definitely recommend reading, but you have to start with book one first.

This was a very well written story. Got a little crazy and far-fetched for a bit, but it was all good. That far-fetched section made for great humor in the book and lightened up the story.
This book again features Natalie and and Colin. Although, this book is most Natalie and little Colin. We only see Ali and a grimace of Jena, Natalie's friends, but we meet a new character Svetlana. I liked Svetlana, she was quite the character.
Ms. Peart had me very captured from Chapter one all the way through to the end. I didn't even realize I was at the end, until I read the words "The End" and my screen wouldn't move to the next page!!
This is the second book in the series, I have enjoyed both books; this is shaping up to be a great series!

Almost Broken Up is a good read full of surprises. We get to see exactly what Colin went through and what led to Faith’s death. Colin and Natalie are moving forward but there is someone who wants revenge for what happened to Faith. Natalie life is threatened and things get even crazier when she runs into Svetlana. Svetlana, Natalie and Ali will definitely make you laugh and when it comes to a night out, they sure know how to go all out. This book definitely has mystery, suspense and steamy sex scenes that will leave you wanting more.

Almost Broken Up is a fabulous and enjoyable story of protecting the ones you love no matter the cost. It is filled with the acceptance and confirmation of the beautiful progression of the healing and blossoming of two broken and lost souls. It is the ultimate expression of the level of relationship that Natalie and Colin have come to find themselves in. There are no longer any doubts or questions as to how they feel towards each other. They have reached the point where there is unconditional love and complete trust between them, and they are savoring and treasuring every aspect of it.

It’s official! Natalie has fallen hard for Colin. She never intended to, but she just couldn’t help herself. Colin swept her off her feet with his kindness, his honesty, and his passion. It’s no secret how Colin feels about Natalie, and he tells her every chance he gets. Their relationship has grown into something that neither expected but that they both sincerely needed and wanted. They are taking great steps to try and continue the healing process for Colin. Natalie is doing everything she can to help him overcome the demons of his past. Together they are moving into a new world filled with promise and overflowing with love.

In this next part of their story, we see Natalie falling into a very comfortable rhythm with Colin and his life changing love and kindness. She is beginning to realize just how much he has changed her life, and she is determined to keep him in her life for as long as she can. His love has revived her lifeless and shattered heart and given her a reason to see everything around her in a different light. Nothing and no one will take him away from her if she has any say in it, so when a mysterious man threatens to kill Colin, she takes it upon herself to keep Colin safe.

Again, her zany and quirky friends help her out on this mission. Using their own version of cunning and stealth, they show their dedication and helpfulness in being the loyal friends they have sworn to be for Natalie. There is never a dull moment when they come to help. While Natalie may not completely agree with their methods, she can’t deny their desire to please and their heart of pure gold. She wouldn’t trade them for anything.

A.O. Peart has written a funny and enticing continuation to this fun and intriguing story of second chances. A word of caution to sensitive readers that this book contains detailed adult content, but otherwise, it is a wonderful story of how love can heal and bring to live two hurting people who have just about given up on happiness. I have enjoyed this journey immensely, and I look forward to the next chapter in Natalie and Colin’s relationship. I cannot wait to see what is next in this series!

RATING 4.5
After reading Almost Matched I was eager to start Almost Broken Up as I wanted to see exactly which the direction the author was planning to take with this series. Before I go any further, I must admit that I found this to be a more entertaining read than Almost Matched. My judgement may be a bit biased in his instance due to my love of stories that have an element of suspense and drama.
Almost Broken Up started out with Collin’s POV, which gives readers an insight as to the guilt that Collin has been living with since that fateful night when his former girlfriend was killed in a motor vehicle accident. It made Collin appear more human and it made it easier for me to connect with him.
Almost Broken Up does is not so much about the relationship between Natalie and Collin but more about the lengths that Natalie will go through to protect her man. Two new characters were introduced, one of whom will pose a threat to Natalie’s relationship with Collin and one who will offer her help in dealing with this threat.
There were moments when I questioned Natalie’s sanity, especially when she made the decision to face the person who had threatened Collin’s life. I say this because it was clear that this person was absolutely crazy. But I guess when you are in love and you have faith in your partner’s innocence, then you will be willing to face any situation no matter how dangerous to protect him. It also helps when you have the girlfriend of a mob boss helping you out.
There were several LOL moments. I found it to be rather hilarious, especially that scene where Natalie, Ali and her new found friend, Svetlana, engaged in a little B&E. I am not going to say much about this as I don’t want to give the story away. To find out what I am speaking about you will have to get a copy for yourself.
The sex scenes between Natalie and Collin was quite erotic. It’s definitely not for the feint of heart.
The author’s writing style is quite engaging as it pulls the reader in and makes them feel as if they are a part of the story.
Overall this was an enjoyable read. Recommended for readers 18+

Almost Broken Up begins with a flashback on the worst night of Colin’s life. Then we are thrust back into the events after . Natalie and Colin are doing well in their relationship yet Natalie can’t help but to wonder if Colin will ever feel the way for her as he did Faith. A little morbid to be jealous of a dead girl- but I could understand Natalie’s feelings.

When Natalie spies a leather clad man watching her at a club she begins to worry and the man warns her to tell Colin that “Razor is coming for him. Why is Razor after Colin? And is Colin hiding something from Natalie?

After this night a lot of action is set into place and Natalie dives into a few dangerous situations including a break in, befriending a Russian mobster’s girlfriend, and taking care of business herself. With Ali as her sidekick the reader isn’t deprived of witty language and the snarky attitudes of two twenty-something girls. I found the language and style of this book refreshing and unique in the New Adult genre. The author mixes heavy topics with humor and has a style all of her own.

I struggled with what to rate this book. On one hand I devoured it in one sitting and genuinely enjoyed it but on the other hand I had a hard time connecting to the characters. As a reader I just couldn’t connect with Natalie and her friends- I don’t understand their actions and can’t realistically believe their choices in this book. The situations they were in were like a mother’s worst nightmare of what her daughter should NOT do. However, I definitely connected with Colin and the prologue of this book took my breath away. It was beautiful, intriguing, and heart-breaking. The prologue alone I would rate 5 stars.

*I also feel it necessary to add that I would LOVE a possible spin-off story of Svetlana’s story!! She was such a character and I want to know more!!*

This past weekend I reviewed the first book in the Almost Bad Boys series, Almost Matched. For several reason, I only gave it 2 stars. I thought it had a lot of potential, but there were some major issues I had with it. I was happy to just leave Natalie and Colin's relationship where the first book ended. Then, author A.O. Peart contacted me on Twitter. She was very understanding of my review and asked if I would consider reading books 2 and 3. She thought I would like them better. I agreed and immediately downloaded Almost Broken Up.

I'm really happy I did. Almost Broken Up was hilarious! In a way, it reminded me of a female version of The Hangover movie -- minus the bachelor party and Vegas. Natalie found herself in several crazy situations with her friends. She was doing things she never imagined doing, with people who may have been a lot dangerous. It was so out there and made for a really fun story.

It wasn't all a crazy ride, though. It was also super steamy and sexy. Colin and Natalie spent a lot of time enjoying each other. I spent a lot of time fanning myself.

There was one little issue that continued from book 1 to book 2 for me, though. It was the switching of the tone of the story mid-book. Almost Broken Up started out with a look at Colin's past, which was very angsty. I absolutely loved his point of view, but it didn't fit well with the comedic tone of the rest of the story. It did set up a part of the story, though; so it was needed. The only way I could see to maybe remedy the issue would have been to give Colin his own novella in between books 1 and 2.

Almost Broken Up was an entertaining book to read. I'm so happy the author encouraged me to continue with the series. It was so worth it for all of the laughs.

Writing Style:
The same addictive writing as the first book, you will gobble Almost Broken Up in one sitting. You will curse your eyes for not being able to read quicker.

My Opinion:
Just when I thought Natalie has done it all, she goes and gets herself dragged into more crazy cahoots. This girl can get herself into some interesting and unbelievable pediments! I thought only insane situations happened to me and my best girlfriend, but it's safe to say Natalie and Ali have the same issue. It's like the crazy just follows them around and it makes for one hell of a hilarious read.

This book definitely takes on a more darkish tone. I found myself terrified for Natalie multiple times and seriously felt my heart stop due to the constant drama. Colin's story alone will grasp you in ways you could never imagine and shatter your heart into millions of tiny pieces. So not only will this book stop your damn heart it will give it a jump start too. (In various ways of course, hehe)

The steam factor in this book has also been jolted up a bit. You may want to have a portable fan nearby to help with the hot flashes. If no fan is available, read near open windows. If it's hot where you live and opening a window just won't help cool you down, opt for a squirt bottle filled with icy water. Or hell maybe read in the bathroom so you can be near the shower, because whew the sex scenes are sultry.

To read or not to read:
I SAY STOP WHATEVER YOUR DOING AND BUY THIS BOOK THE DAY IT RELEASES. WHILE YOU’RE AT IT, PICK UP A COPY OF ALMOST MATCHED RIGHT NOW, SO YOU WILL BE FULLY PREPARED.

I just finished Almost Broken and I really liked it. If you have been following the series then you know that Almost Matched is the first one and its about Colin and Natalie. They have both experienced heartbreak and are trying to let things go when the unimaginable thing happens. You find out Colin's secret about Faith. This story picks up right after that and you see how they both are dealing with this revelation. This is at a point causing Natalie to doubt Colin's love and Colin keeps re-assuring her. Why does Natalie keep doubting herself? How does Colin convince her of his love? You will have to read and see.

I really enjoyed this story more this go around. Only because we were out of the who is what stage and was about to go forward with the story. Colin and Natalie are a perfect fit and the chemistry between them is hot and solid but insecurities and doubt start to plague them. I can see them getting out of this but it is going to take some time and trust.

I loved Natalie and Colin. I loved the secondary characters including the new ones. Caroline, Ali and Jenna are adorable and hilarious. Caroline wasn't in this one so cant wait to see more of her. I really like Svelta. Russian girlfriend to the mob clearing has made the story for me better. Their antics had me cracking up.

It was really good and cannot wait to see what happens in the follow up. Trust me, get this one. It is seriously a good read.

Colin’s past is catching up to him and soon the secrets and pain he has tried to hide is revealed. Natalie is finding her way to where commitment and love no longer frighten her and accepting Colin’s support and believing in their future. Now with the latest of developments her strength and their love are truly tested.
Natalie- “I cannot believe you talked me into having sex in the airport garage, Colin “it didn’t take much to convince you.
This is book two is Natalie and Colin’s struggle to find happily ever after. Colin is ever the quite but sexy, charming dominant man and Natalie’s fears that once wreaked havoc on the couple in the first book have seemed to have deteriorated and she has become to find peace and understanding of true love in her relationship with Colin. The humor within the secondary characters is just as prevalent if not more as the first book which offsets the dark demons and the harsh past circumstances Natalie and Colin face. A haunted past plagued with memories of his ex-girlfriend who died in a horrible car crash and a new threat on his life brings a new sense of determination for Natalie to make this relationship work. With this threat takes Natalie and her band of zany friends on some questionable and hilarity educed adventures. Adding Svetlana, a Russian mobster’s girlfriend to the mix, who takes these friend’s antics to whole other level of crazy and high entertainment. The sexy scenes are just as hot as the comic parts are funny.
This is a great follow up to Almost Matched and I am looking forward to book 3.

***Gladys, #NerdGirlOriginal’s Review***

Almost Broken up begins with a flashback of the fatal night that still haunts Colin. It takes you through his pain and paints a realistic picture of the anguish and hurt he went through. As morbid as this sounds, this part of the book pulled me in. It made Colin seem real to me. Tragedy seems to do that! Sigh Natalie has her work cut out for her.

So the rest of the book is comical with a lot of funny antics. Now if you like that kind of thing you will enjoy this book. Peart pulls stories from the weirdest directions and somehow makes it work in the end. It becomes an ah-ha moment, for me at least, which totally pulls EVERYTHING TOGETHER. But not how I would expect it to be. She introduces new characters, a blast from Colin’s past and a Russian mobster’s wife. The later introduction and story line didn’t make much sense to me but it did tie in a little later on in the book.

With all of this said, Colin and Natalie goes through ups and downs Ahem Literally! The sex scenes are steaaaaammmmyyyyy!!! I did love them soooooo!! They were realistic and not too over the top!

Even though some of the story lines were going in weird directions the author did bring it together in the end (neatly I may add). Her writing style again is simplistic but entertaining. I give this book a 4.

**I was given a copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review**

I had to quickly go and read book 1 since I hadn't and realized that starting with book 2 just wouldn't make any sense :) Of course I was sucked in and had to find out what was going to happen with Colin and Natalie. There were some times that I wanted to just reach in and smack Colin around because he was really acting like a douche and wasn't giving Natalie any idea what his problem was.

Ali...man I love that girl!! I hope that in future books in this series we get to hear some of her stories (I am sure she has quite a few!) because she is awesome!

Ali and Natalie get into "a situation" and end up making a new friend who really comes in handy for Natalie at some point. I laughed my way through that plot line because I was like "who does stuff like that??" As out of the blue as it was, it was funny... and it put some important characters into play with the story.

I really wish they would add half stars to reviews. I honestly give this 4.5 stars! There are no cliffhangers, we do get a HEA (well, at least a happily ever for now, because we don't know where the next chapter in their story will take us), and all of the characters that you will fall in love with in the first book are back!

This is a quick read...once I picked it up I couldn't put it down. I highly recommend it to anyone who likes action, adventure and romance.

After reading book 1, I couldn't wait to see what Natalie and Colin would do and how they would progress, so book 2 was eagerly awaited for.

Natalie and Colin have now got together and hooked up. The thing is, while Natalie is fitting quite comfortably into the groove of being a 'couple' she has to help Colin fight his demons from the past.

This is a quick read, some of it is a bit far fetched, but its a quircky far fetched which seems to be accepted through some laughter, as some of it does bring a smile to your face. Sometimes I wanted to clout Colin and give him a wake up call, but all in all this 2nd book in the series has left it a happy ending. There isn't a cliff hanger.....but who knows if there will be a book 3!

Almost Broken Up by A. O. Peart

Rating 5

Natalie and Colin's story is just beginning. Finally admitting to each other that there is so much more than simple infatuation, it is time to enter the honeymoon period. Only this period is anything but smoother sailing. A leather bound stalker, the Russian mafia, and a past that won't leave sure has other ideas for the couple.
Once again the humor in this book makes you seriously laugh out loud. The girls can get into just about anything just by walking down the street! Brash humor abounds, impromptu B&E, and all sorts of mischief jus keeps you reading. Colin has to be the sweetest naughty man ever! You can't help but drool a little when he comes around.
I have to say that I have enjoyed this series so much. It has a great flow and within the first few pages you are simply hooked. So many series start off well and by the second book it seems you are simply rereading the first novel, this doesn't apply here. I laughty till I cried at parts! I read in mental pictures so it made it all the more hysterical for me. I will say that if off color humor offends you then this isn't the book for you, but it was a perfect fit for me lol.
Overall, a great read! I would recommend this series to mature readers 18+ who have a sense of humor, love steamy scenes, and are fascinated by the Russian mafia (lol ) I can't wait to see which one of our meddlesome foursome has her story told next!

I was given this novella by author A.O. Peart for an honest review. This is book 3 and the last novella of the Almost Bad Boy series. This series was a total delight to read and I am so glad I was able to share my reviews.

Colin and Natalie are still together and this time the book takes another character into the mix. Colin's great grandma Helga who is over 80 years old but feisty as all get out. Helga along with her friend Stella take off to hit the casino with out letting anyone know during Helga's birthday party. Natalie always seems to find trouble and this time is no different.

I can not say any thing bad about this story line so I wont. I did however laugh at some of the interaction of the characters because it was just too funny. The characters and the story line in this novella are great and you can see that the author took the characters into consideration when writing the interaction of them.

This is a great romance book with colorful characters who will win your heart as you read the story. Nothing says it better then the romance between Colin and Natalie in this story.

For any romance readers if you have books 1 & 2 you definitely should buy this as it completes the romance series. There is some sexual content in this story so I would recommend it for mature readers.

Just when everything seems getting okay with our two love-birds, there’s a stalker that threatens Colin’s life. And Natalie’s stubbornness wouldn’t allow her to step aside and let the proper authorities handle the danger. She meets someone unexpectedly, a Russian mobster’s hot girlfriend Svetlana. She was the biggest surprise in this novel, and at first, I wasn’t really sure whether to trust her or not. But she helped Natalie with some problems, and even, in a way, saved her life so she got major points for it.

The big danger it was the twist I didn’t see coming. A little sick, a little startling, and a little dangerous I was waiting for what will he be doing to our main characters, and when it finally came, Jena just dampen all my adrenaline rush and had me laughing with her antics. OMG. My rush seemed to have transferred to her.

I think I enjoyed the second book more because 1) it opened with Colin’s past, and finally I understood what happened in the near end of Almost Matched. 2) It is more action-packed with surprising twists, 3) a lot of jaw-dropping scenes that had me really laughing 4) steamier from the first chapter down to the very last COLIN, YUMMY!

If I loved this second book more my expectations just went high for the third book in the series! :D

If you have read the first book then this one is a must read to continue to see where the road takes these two-Natalie and Colin. She sure knows how to hook and bait leave you hanging so you do have to follow through. In this one it is totally revealed what actually went down with Colin and Faith the baggage he carries around. But also there is someone else who contacts Natalie in a not so nice way to let her know he is coming for Colin. She also meets this crazy girl in here and her and one of her friends help her and they turn out to have quite a adventure that evening. In turn though she gets help from her also when needed. Gee lots can happen when your man steps out of town for a bit ha ha. So the awesome writing style this author has given in first one continues on in this one and do believe even better. Love the touch of mystery and intrigue that is added. The characters have even grown more so in here and now enlightened more on them with just as much heat as before. Do love how she turns the tables on Razor and talks the sense right into him, but what will Colin think of all this? But my oh my does this author have mercy on us readers-no way she keeps us hooked and dangling, tortured waiting for the next one and sweet torture it is. Received a arc for a honest review.

I loved how this starts off with Colin’s POV and we get a history of his background with Faith and what happened right before and leading up to when Faith died. I am soooo glad this was included in Book 2 because after the bomb dropped from book one I really wanted to read more on the issue.

Colin and Natalie are going HOT and I do mean HOT and heavy!!! WOWZERS!!! But, now that they are finally getting to a point of being happy some strange tattooed guy named Razor shows up and freaks Natalie out. He is from the past and wants her to warn Colin that he is back and will pay for what he did to ‘HER. That took us on an adventure that I really wasn’t expecting and had you wandering what kind of crazy psycho this guy truly was.

Also, Natalie and Ali end up making a new friend which opened a whole new door of craziness!!! Although their new friend did come in handy when needed against crazy psycho stalkers!!! But, to be honest I wouldn’t have done half the things those girls got themselves into! I loved Ali’s character though! She was a hoot especially when she was talking with the escort.

There wasn’t really a cliffhanger at the end of this novel but it was action packed and was entertaining from beginning to end!

Almost Broken Up is book two in A.O. Peart’s Almost Bad Boys series. This book starts off with a flashback of Colin’s past, the day everything changed for him. It gives the reader an insight into his apparent mood swings from book one. I found that this book was more about facing new challenges and working through personal issues to get to the good stuff. Someone connected to Colin's past turns up in Seattle and causes a bit of a fuss. I don't want to give too much away so won't say anymore on that subject.
I found this book to better describe the scenes than book one I also found the way the characters talk more believable in this book, it just seemed to flow better in places, I like that the author’s writing has grown, with book one I was stopping and starting with this one I was quite happy to just keep reading. Book one felt a little juvenile in places whereas in this book I don't see that so much, its more adult and the sex scenes are much better.
This book takes an odd turn but it just made me more interested to find out what was going on, it was just getting strange and I loved that. A.O. Peart has in my opinion done a better job with book two than book one and I look forward to reading Almost Too Far book three in the Almost Bad Boys series

I received an ARC of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Honestly, if it was possible, I have fallen more in love with Natalie Davenport and Colin Hampton's characters in "Almost Broken-Up". It seems as if the past has come back to haunt Colin and Natalie in the sequel "Almost Matched" the first book in The Almost Bad Boys series. Things seem to be going really good for them until Natalie has a run in with someone who wants to harm Colin. Ali and Natalie's matchmaking business is still going good. They make a new friend while walking in the park one night. This new friend takes them on one wild adventure but her special skill set comes in handy when Natalie finds herself in a predicament.

I enjoyed this book more than I enjoyed the 1st book. This one seemed to flow easier and there was so much drama that I was addicted to the book. Once I picked it up, I had a difficult time putting it down. I am definitely enjoying this series and cannot wait for more to come. I want to know what is going to happen with Colin and Natalie, Ali, Jena and Caroline. They are all so interesting characters and the author just makes you want to know more about them all.

I was given a copy of this book by the author in exchange for an honest review.

This story starts off where Almost Matched left off so we get Colin's POV about his past pain with losing Faith in a car crash. Colin and Natalie are deeply in-love and have a good relationship. Natalie and Ali befriend a girl who is the girlfriend of the leader of the Russian Mafia. When Natalie later needs help she calls on this girl. Razor shows up and is threatening Colin so Natalie does whatever she can to keep Colin safe. Natalie's girlfriends come to help which is always funny.

I liked the writing style in Almost Broken Up. It flowed well and was easy to get sucked right into the story. Natalie sure did get herself into some crazy situations that I found myself worried that she wouldn't get herself out of them on time.

The author did a wonderful job of letting the reader know how in-love Colin and Natalie were. The sex was sizzling but romantic. The last sex scene, in my opinion, was not romantic - just erotic. I didn't get that there were any loving feelings between the couple in that scene.

This is the second book in this series, and I have to say this one is just as good as the first one, it not better. You really need to read these books in order, so that you can get the foundation of the story. I love Natalie and her crazy friends, and it makes me feel like I am right there with them while reading this book. The book picks up with Colin’s point of view and his heartache of losing Faith. Natalie and Colin are trying to move forward in their relationship and she is trying to help him move on from his grief. Natalie and Ali meet Svetlana, a Russian mobster’s girlfriend. Svetlana asks Natalie and Ali to help her which leads to a crazy adventure. Then someone named Razor starts threatening Colin, so Natalie calls in Svetlana, and her Russian thugs show up to help. This book is so entertaining; I stayed up all night reading it. This book has is all, hot steamy sex, humor, adventure, and interesting statues. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.
A Review copy was provided to me in exchange for a fair and honest review. The free book held no determination on my personal review.

I received an copy from the author in exchange for my honest review, so here it is. This one had me crying from the beginning. it starts with Colin's POV about his past heartache with the crash that took Faith from him. He is so distraught, it will tear your heart out. Colin and Natalie are trying to move forward with their relationship and sometimes the past will get in the way. Natalie is the type that wants to help people, even when she knows that there can be trouble ahead. When her and Ali meet a Russian mobster's girlfriend, things get very interesting and then Razor shows up and is still threatening Colin and Natalie becomes the protector and will do what she can to keep Colin safe. Their love is strong and getting stronger every day and their sex life is off the charts. And what can't Colin do? Will Natalie be able to protect Colin? Can Colin move from his past and have a future with Natalie. All of Nat's friends are there for her as always. Another great story by Angela and I loved it too. Can't wait for book 3 due out in March.

I received an ARC of this book to review.
Okay getting that tidbit of necessity out of the way...
Must read Almost Matched to truly understand what is going on so make sure you go read it before Almost Broken Up is released(Jan. 21)

Now onto the book...
Wow. Let me just get that straight first lol. This was definitely a great one and picked up exactly where the first left off without any awkward unknowns.
And as soon as things seem to be settling for Colin and Natalie some creepy tattooed freak starts infringing on their happiness with threats and stalking only neither of them know why. Natalie, though timid and afraid to trust in the first book, now knows this is the man of her present and future and refuses to back down from protecting the man she loves. Throw in some very steamy moments, trespassing, breaking and entering and Russian mob and you have one hell of a ride!
So if I haven't peaked your interest... check your pulse! If I have then make sure you go get this one on Jan. 21!!
No prudish types allowed and check your age at the door... 18+ recommended!!!

Natalie is back and things are about to get a little crazy!

We start with learning about Collins past and why he has become the man he is today. Guarded, distant, and constantly on the cusp of losing it. It is sad and one can only imagine the pain and horror he must have felt and is going through. He opens up to Natalie. Sealing their relationship further, but work has got them both a little tied up.

Collin has to go off on business and Natalie is shaken up from an encounter the night before with a man named Razor. Who was this man? How did he know Collin? Just when she thought everything was out on the table she now had her doubts. Throw in a Russian woman who has lost her kitten, a hilarious rescue mission, and more witty girl banter and you have your self a book you will not be able to put down.

AO Peart just has an awesome way of telling a story and I can not wait for book 3!!!

5 *wink* read!

We continue Nat & Colin’s relationship in Almost Broken Up with more of Colin’s story. His demon’s come out and Nat has to get through his the guilt he feels.

Ali & Nat stumble upon a woman in need - a Russian woman! After following her to retrieve her Kitty (yes-kitty), breaking into a house, witnessing almost-sex with an escort, meeting two huge bodyguards, holding up another woman at gunpoint and racing out of the house before getting caught..well lets just say their day took a major turn! But a very entertaining one!

There is also someone out to get them, well mainly her in order to make Colin pay. Nat and her friends are gutsy and she manages to find out exactly what is going on with this “stalker and calls him on all his actions. All this with the aid of her new Russian “friends makes for great reading!

With that taken care of Nat begins to question the trust in their relationship. Colin wants to control more than Nat is comfortable with. Can their complete honesty be what leads them to trust each other completely?

Almost Broken-up

Well, what can I say Angela has done it again. This is the second book in the Almost Bad Boy Series. Her first book Almost Matched, leads into this book. When Colin meets Natalie, flames flare between them. At the end of the first Colin starts having panic attacks all because she tells him that she fallen in love with him.

This book has had me on an emotional roller coaster ride. It only took me one day to read this book, that is how much I LOVE IT! And it also what I like in a author

Colin and Natalie are about to go out for the evening, just as the arrive at the club for dinner and dancing, there is a mystery guy that was getting out of the cab behind them starring at them, which creeps Natalie out. Who is this mystery guy ? Why is he following them around? Will there be danger that lurks around the corner?

This is a must read book, but please read the first book, Almost Matched, You will understand what happens next.
