CAN FUN IN THE SUN TURN INTO LASTING LOVE?

Spring break in Key West with my besties was supposed to be casual fun. But I never expected to meet James Hunt. Sex and frolic? Yes! A relationship? No. But his hot blue eyes and confident manner drew me in. And when he let me see the man behind the mask, I fell hard, foolishly believing there could be a future for us. Of course I never considered our relationship might be based on lies…or that his betrayal could rock my foundation and make me question everything I believed in

OR WILL A LIFE BUILT ON LIES RUIN EVERYTHING?

The moment I saw Quinn I knew I had to have her. She hooked me with her cool eyes and don’t touch me attitude. I had it all, money, social status, and looks. I could get any girl I wanted…until her. When my friends challenged me with a bet to get her into bed by the end of the week, I couldn’t pass it up. But sex wasn’t supposed to turn into love. She wasn’t supposed to change me, push me, and make me want more for myself. She wasn’t supposed to wreck me in all ways. And now, if I can’t turn my lies into truth, I just might lose her forever

4 Sex on the Beach, Tasty, Steamy Stars * * * *

Beyond Me by Jennifer Probst is part of the Sex on the Beach group of quick novels which all reference each other. They follow 3 best friends; women who are in college, all searching to have some fun during Spring Break in Key West. Each of these novellas can be read alone, in different order or in the order with this being the second.

In this story we have Quinn, the focused, organized, hard working student. She never cuts loose as she expects herself to do what needs to be done. Having survived an alcoholic father, Quinn is now studying to be a rehab specialist and works a couple of jobs while doing it. She is there to have that break her girlfriends encouraged... to have a fling... enjoy the moment and then go back to Chicago to finish school.

Both of her friends are doing their spring thing...so Quinn goes to a house pool party she learned of from a flyer. As she is checking out the mansion... seeing bodies in all degrees of dress and undress.... she spots a gorgeous guy across the way checking her out. She knows she is ok in her mind... not a 10 but not a 2 either. He on the other hand is something... built but not bulky, dark hair, light blue eyes and staring not just at her but through her. She is startled by it and turns away.

James Hunt is not having it... he is not losing the vision. He is annoyed she turned away from him... his friends tease him... goading him about not having his charm and way with the ladies anymore... words are said back and forth... pride is at stake and a bet is made... James is pushed to the mental wall and it is either put up or shut up... he get's art lessons with a painter whom he worships if he beds her in the week... if not he loses his prized, one of a kind motorcycle.

We learn he is the one the house belongs to...he has a history of always doing these parties for spring break. His circle of friends expect him to provide all of the entertainment and fund their fun... because that is what he does...what is always expected of him. His parents expected him to join the company business... be everything they needed to look good with their peers... James, though, wanted to pursue painting. He was never encouraged to be the real artist he dreams of being... he hides these feelings and plays the carefree playboy.

He tracks Quinn down and they start up a conversation... things are going well for James as they both are attracted to each other... until she finds out he is the owner of the house from one of his friends... you see, Quinn has a hardcore rule... no lying of any kind... her father would lie... promising things to her and then because he would be drunk... never come through. She learned how to protect herself and this was the only way.

As the story goes, her friends convince her to hear him out. She does and the romance blossoms for both. She feels for him and encourages him to really be himself and paint. He starts to have real feeling for her and tells the guys the bet is off.

While there romance continues with the ticking time bomb of the bet in the background, there are other things happening on Key West. Women are being drugged and we hear about it from the other characters.

This is a strong story of obligations .... when is it time for people to live for themselves and not others.... when is it time to cut friendships which are actually not friendships at all....

I liked the way everything worked... it was a sweet story with steam and ideas; it worked as part of this series.

***5 Spring Break Love Stars**

I absolutely loved Beyond Me and devoured this amazing novella. Three best friends, Mackenzie, Cassie, and Quinn travel to the Key West for spring break and are on a quest to have some casual fun. And Beyond Me is Quinn Harmon's story.

On her first day in Key West,Quinn meets James Hunt at a house party. Sexual attraction and chemistry were in the air. Quinn and James's romance was a perfect balance of fun, sweet, and HOT. I loved Quinn's personality. She was smart, lovable, kind, understanding, sweet, and sassy. In Between Us, Mackenzie and Austin's relationship was oozing with sweetness and love whereas Quinn and James' relationship was just HOT and Steamy with and an added bonus of love tossed into it. Although this is a novella, Ms. Probst did not disappoint her readers. She packed so much into this story that you couldn't help fall in love with Quinn and James. Beyond Me was beyond amazing.. I highly recommend everyone to read it. It's was about finding love and finding yourself.

This was a cute quick read. I like Quinn's character and personality and how she brought out the best in James without either of them realizing it. I liked going through the journey with him from meeting to James finally believing in himself and following his dream! Can't wait to see what happens with Cassie and Mackenzie

I don't think I've ever read a book where Jennifer Probst has left me disappointed. From her Marriage to a Billionaire series to her Searching For series, Probst has a way of making me come back for more--and Beyond Me is no different! Having already read Between Us, I knew a little bit of Quinn's storyline, but not enough to form a solid opinion on her. I have to say, I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know both Quinn and James--and dare I say it: I think these two are my favorite of the three couples!

Quinn is the hardworking, mother-hen type of the group. There's no tragic past she's running from, but she hasn't exactly had it easy growing up with an alcoholic father. Nevertheless, instead of letting that bring her down, it's made her a strong, independent young woman--which we don't see enough in New Adult. Quinn has her life (semi) together. She has two time-consuming jobs she loves, a strong head on her shoulders and a great support system. Still, life can get a little hectic and that's why she's on this vacation with her best friends. The plan? Find an attractive guy, have a no-strings-attached fling and finally have an orgasm. That's not too much to ask for, right?

James and Quinn meet right off the bat and from the very beginning there's this hot, sexual attraction. Quinn can obviously tell he's a little too arrogant for her taste, but it's not long before she's putty in his hands. I'm always glad when there's more to a guy than a pretty face and full pockets. James appears to have it all but it's only an illusion. Probst doesn't dwell too, too much on it, but underneath the slick persona James portrays, there's a small little boy begin for love and affection. There are these brief moments, here and there, where James lets down his guard and those are the moments in which Quinn falls in love.

I never have to be disappointed in Probst when it comes to the sexy times. At. All. James and Quinn? Even before they met, their attraction was strong, but once they finally get together, they burn the pages! James takes the term alpha to a whole new lever with Quinn. I couldn't get enough of them! And while I loved those wickedly decadent scenes, I also loved getting to know both of these characters.

Told in dual POVs, Beyond Me exceeds New Adult expectations, all the while being a short novella. While James and Quinn's journey is a short one, their story is one that fills you up and stays with you. With enough sex appeal to have you blushing your cheeks off, this novella is definitely one you'll want to pick up!

So the next book in the Sex on the Beach series was written by Jennifer Probst. I didn't know what to think when I first realized that it was three people writing this series with each their own books, but my doubts were quickly erased from the first few pages of this book.

If Jen McLaughlin and Jennifer Probst both write differently, the transition was done smoothly and I didn't feel like I was reading two books so out of the reach from one another if it makes sense.

So this book concentrates on one of Mackenzie's best friend, Quinn. I liked her from the first lines in Jen's book and Jennifer made me love her more. She had an attitude that I liked. She really the kind of girl you can easily relate to and I think that's why she's so far my favourite female character of the series so far.

James was something else. I really liked him even with the stupid bet in plan because you could tell that he cared about her, whether if he realized it or not as early as us readers. He looked so confident, but he was so vulnerable at the same time. Quinn really brought out the best out of him.

Both of them learned a few different lessons in this book that made them grown. So a fun week in the sun became just a little bit more for those two in more ways than one.

The story was short, but I really enjoyed this book. This is totally the book I would recommend to read on the beach one sunny afternoon and a nice cold drink to enjoy this.

I really liked this one. It was short, sweet and the perfect companion on a 3 hr flight to Cali :) It was also really hot, wasn't expecting that at all. So I guess maybe not quite the perfect plane companion cause I got a bit squirmy and didn't want the middle aged dude stealing my arm rest to get a peek. Anywho, I digress...Another good "in betweener" if you have read alot of tough, angsty stuff.

I looooooooved Beyond Me. I want to yell it from the rooftops. I want every person I know who enjoys sweet and sexy romances to read it. Beyond Me made me want to twirl around and sing and go on a sexy spring break myself. (Or vacation, at least, since I'm definitely not of spring break age anymore.) It was everything I wanted and more. All the warm fuzzies. All of them.

Quinn and James were perfection separately. Together, they were absolutely magical. Their connection was so real and believable and they were good for each other, despite it all starting out on less than honorable circumstances, due to a bet on James' part. It was easy to see how they fell so hard, so fast. This book has real emotion and HOTT sexy scenes, but it also has a lot of character growth. Mmm. James. So freaking swoony and sexy.

The length of this novella was perfect, though if I'm being perfectly honest, I loved these characters and their story so much that I wish it would have been a full-length book. Maybe a follow-up novella down the road, eh Jennifer? :) I'd totally buy it. The entire Sex on the Beach series is a lot of fun. I love the cohesion between the different stories. The only downfall to that is that once you've read one of the novellas, you pretty much the twists in the other two, but it didn't deter me from loving them all the same... or even more, maybe. Each writer's voice is unique and there's a lot more than meets the eye to each character's story. I can't recommend this series highly enough. Who doesn't want to read about fun, sexy times in the sun when they're stuck inside in the bitter cold winter?

I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.

This is the second book I've read in the Sex on the Beach series. Whilst linked, they can be read as standalones or together in any order and after reading Between Us by Jen McLaughlin, I launched straight into this. She set a high standard and Jennifer Probst matched it.

In fairness, I had high expectations as I'm no stranger to her books. She doesn't disappoint as Beyond Me is a hot, sexy and heartfelt holiday romance to lose yourself in. She's brought us a couple to love in Quinn and James and they were perfect for one another. They may be young, with pasts that have forced them grow up, but together they unleash their young fun sexy side and I adored them.

This is definitely a book and a series I would recommend. Now to see if Jenna Bennett's book can match the standard.

Beyond Me is a novella in the Sex on the Beach Series and being a big Jennifer Probst fan, I was so excited to get my hands on this story. Jennifer didn’t let me down. This story was just perfect!

On Spring Break in Key West with her two BFF’s, Quinn must venture out and meet a guy. Why, you ask? It was the deal her and her girlfriends had made. They wouldn’t be spending a ton of girl time together. They needed to branch out and get some action. Some guy action. It’s this deal that leads her to a house party at a gorgeous and sprawling mansion. After being there only a short time, Quinn isn’t too impressed with what’s going on. Scantily clad drunken girls and Ken doll perfect frat guys. SO not her thing. All that changes when she meets James Hunt. He seems to be different than all these guys here and she immediately takes to him. It doesn’t take long for Quinn to decide James should be the guy she throws caution to the wind with and enjoy a fling with.too bad she finds herself wanting more with him by the end of their trip. Forget the problem of the trip ending. The bigger problem, Quinn soon finds out, is James wasn’t exactly honest with her from the very beginning. Could his dishonesty ruin any chance for a long-term relationship?

James Hunt was used to throwing the parties at his parents house on Spring Break. He was used to the girls and the booze and all the annoying nonsense that came with it. And he was over all of it. But he couldn’t be annoyed tonight. Now when he sees Quinn. She’s unlike any other girl at this party and he instantly knows he must have her and after spending even a little bit of time with her, he was sure of it. Of course his friends take that as a chance to offer up a challenge to get her in bed before the weekend was up. Just to shut them up, James accepts. Quinn would never find out anyway, right? The more time James spends with Quinn he sure hopes she doesn’t because he’s fallen hard and fast for her. But even if she did find out about some stupid bet, she would surely know his feelings for her were true and very real.right? Or could that one stupid bet risk it all?

Two people from opposite ends of the social status spectrum turn out to be a perfect match when it comes to matters of the heart. Will they be able to overlook all of the silly mistakes that lead up to the present and give what they’ve found a chance?

I simply adored this book. In true Jennifer fashion, she gives the reader two fantastic characters with an undeniable attraction that built beautifully throughout the story. Of course, the whole matter of the bet had me a nervous wreck and I was so worried for Quinn and James because I really REALLY wanted things to work between them. James, despite coming from loads of money, was a broken soul and I wanted to give him a great big hug when he let his true feelings about his childhood show and how he feels about his parents spill out. Quinn was so amazing and strong. She has been dealt a tough hand in life but is determined to make the best of things. Their differences balanced out and I loved them as a couple. I won’t give anything away as far as the bet and the ending but I will say this: the thing I love most about Jennifer’s writing is her ability to write an amazing ending. Chick-flick-movie-worthy type of endings, I tell you. And this was no exception.

Thank you, Jennifer, for a sexy and loving story!

Beyond Me by Jennifer Probst is part of the Sex on the Beach multi-author series, the stories are linked by three main characters who have all gone on holiday together for spring break and who are looking for a little romance to go along with their sun, sand and cocktails. The characters spend most of their time apart going off and having their own adventures but they do meet up occasionally so you'll get glimpses of all three of them in each story. The books can be read in any order and they each work fine as a stand alone story so you can choose whether you want to read one, two or all three of them.

Quinn has had to work hard to get where she wants to be but she is willing to put the effort in if it means achieving her goals. She is quite shy and geeky so she feels a little lost when she is separated from her friends so they can all go on the hunt for a spring break fling but she's independent and determined to find her own fun so it doesn't hold her back for long. The sparks start flying the moment she meets James and she's pretty sure he'll be the perfect distraction to make her holiday one to remember. She thinks he's just a normal boy so she's not quite sure what to think when she discovers that he's actually a rich party boy who has spent the last few years wasting money and doing whatever he feels like. On the surface the two of them have nothing in common but the heat between them is impossible to resist and she's only in it for a fling after all. As it turns out they have a lot more in common that she ever could have imagined but James still has one major secret, one that could destroy their fledgling relationship if Quinn ever uncovers it.

I have to say that Beyond Me was my favourite story in the trilogy, I absolutely loved the chemistry between Quinn and James - they have more than a few smoking hot scenes! - but what I loved most was seeing them spend time together outside of the bedroom. They take the time to get to know each other and they both open up about not just their pasts but also about their dreams for the future. James isn't just the rich, arrogant playboy that he first appears to be and there is a lot more to his character than meets the eye. He is actually a really nice and genuine guy once you get to know him, he is sick of the party lifestyle that he's been living but hasn't figured out a way to change his life for the better. Quinn makes him want to turn things around but he doesn't do it just for her, he does it because she shows him that he is someone who deserves to find happiness and live his dreams.

I found their relationship developed really naturally and although the timeline was just as fast as the other two novellas I felt the outcome of things between them was much more believable. This was probably helped by the way things played out at the end of their week together (I can't say more here without giving spoilers so I apologise for being vague!) and by the fact that the epilogue to their story is set several weeks later. Beyond Me is another fabulous story from Jennifer Probst and it's a must read for contemporary romance fans.

The Sex on the Beach Series are three different novella's that can be read as standalone stories, or all together. Between Us, by Jen McLaughlin, Beyond Me, by Jennifer Probst, and Before You, by Jenna Bennett, center around three best friends, Mac, Quinn, and Cassie, who decide to go to Key West for adventure, and to find a spring fling. The two girls are all staying at the same hotel that the successful, and wealthy, country singer, MacKenzie is staying at, and has generously paid for. For the most part, the girls go off to have their own adventures, and thus, we get separate stories, but they meet up once in a while for drinks or a meal to share their experiences with one another.

In Beyond Me, we get Quinn's story. Quinn is a shy, conservative, workaholic. She has an alcoholic father that she takes care of, attends college full time, has an internship, and works part time. She needs this vacation desperately. While Mac and Cassie are virgins looking to lose their virginity on this vacation, Quinn is in search of something that she has never experienced before; an orgasm. When she attends a party, she see's her Mr. Perfect. She's never experienced intense attraction before, but when she see's James for the first time, she can't take her eyes off of him, and he can't keep his eyes off of her either.

James is good-looking, wealthy, and has the ability to purchase anything he wants at his fingertips. However, he is lonely, has false friends that use him, and parents that could care less about him. He's passionate about art, but doesn't believe in himself. James ends up making a bet, which he's pushed into by his friends, that he can have sex with Quinn by week's end. However, what starts out as an intense attraction, and hot sex, turns in to something more; as Quinn and James get to know one another, but what will happen when the week comes to an end?

I give, Beyond Me, by Jennifer Probst, 4.5 Sexually Decadent, Emotionally Charged, Fun Filled Stars! Read this story for a fast-paced, flirty, and adventurous novella! This is the perfect read to get you in the mood for spring break!

My Favorite Quote:

"I need you in my life, in whatever capacity you're comfortable with. As my lover, my girlfriend, my friend. I'll take anything I can get. I want time to prove to you who I am, and how we are together when you're with the real me. The one only you saw in me." (eARC, Loc. 1987)

Indeed, opposite attracts, but James and Quinn makes up a one, hot, amazing couple.

She was a nerd who wants to save the world. She was the type of girl who wanted to make a difference. She wasn’t the outgoing type, and most likely to get a casual fling among the three of them that is before she have met James Hunt. He was everything she was warned about.

James Hunt was her very opposite all he do was fun, party with his friends, and sleep with countless women. He was an Ivy Leaguer drop-out with no sense of direction, but beneath this cool, imposing exterior lies an insecure boy who only wanted attention and approval from his rich parents.

It was supposed to be casual, no strings, just pure, plain unadulterated pleasure. But things started to get personal when James uncovered his true self. More than his richness, or his hotness, Quinn fell for the real James, and she thought he felt the same. Only to discover that it was all a ruse.

Ouch.

They had chemistry, they had instant connection, and the bed would do a spontaneous combustion when they are in it. I loved seeing them together, they were good for each other. You can see the changes in them both, Quinn started to experience life, and James started to put meaning in his.

When caught red-handed, he became defensive and she forgave him for that but Quinn had been on this path before, he needed to do something for himself first before she would allow him in her life which was totally understandable on her part. She didn’t insist because it would be futile if she would do so, he would only destroy whatever future they could have. It was painful to watch her walk away from it all, but it was all for the best.

The ending? I couldn’t ask for more perfect than what Jennifer Probst did.

Wow. I was shock. I was fascinated. I was awe-struck. Who says books doesn’t keep your bed warm at night haven’t read this story yet. Jennifer Probst kept me awake at night, made my bed warm, and my heart flutter.

description

So I am going to be kind here, because this book wasn't bad it simply was what it was

A quick read romance, meant to hit all the plot points in a limited amount of pages, wrapping it all up with a HEA and endless possibilities for the future of the two young lovers. I think it hit the mark.

Let’s break it down..

Good girl with a somewhat rough upbringing vacations on spring break with girlfriends and has big plans of finally cutting loose and having a good…if not slightly risky good time. Of course this plan is pushed and reinforced by the outgoing best friend……because isn't it always? SIDE BAR: What kind of girl pack goes on a vacation with the set plan to STAY SEPARATED the entire time to have a random hook up? Little weird no?

Anyways..Good girl of course meets poor little rich kid with a bad boy streak and of course a tortured heart of gold underneath the cliche exterior. Oh and he’s like physically perfect with the body of a god? Douche bag friends, lot’s of notches on the proverbial belt, party guy…you see the picture I’m painting here right?

Cut too their eyes cross by the pool at the raging house party he’s throwing and she feels out of place at.#INSTALOVE! Is there any other way?

So, they spend time together both trying to break down some walls, and avoid the realization that they have just SO FALLEN IN LOVE. He makes some total D-Bag decisions, she kind of jumps to some conclusions (though for ONCE I actually completely AGREE with the lady lead's reasoning…I’m proud to finally see a girl say “hey dude…I can’t fix you, so figure that out then come talk to me.)..Then of course it all gets wrapped up in a nice neat package, and a smile on your face! The End.

Seriously, it wasn't a bad read at all. It was a quick romance with lots of lusty sexytimes, and some juvenile dramatic drama, then a clear ending, no cliffys or ambiguousness. I don’t know if it’s something I would call a favorite, but I got out of it more than I went in expecting, so for that I must be generous with my stars, and I feel they we’re deserved for the genre. (I also must admit I am kind of curious to continue the series.)

I received an ARC of this book in order to provide a review.

It has been a very long and cold winter around most of the country. That most of the country has not made a beeline to Florida is a miracle.....Beyond Me is a fun, sweet sexy story that puts the reader in not only a warmer climate, but also kicks up their body temperature with the chemistry between Quinn and James.

I really liked the book. I think Jennifer Probst wrote it in a voice that is a reflection of twentysomethings. Quinn and James were beautifully drawn, but each has a streamer trunk for their emotional baggage. Issues in their personal lives have made these two characters older and wiser beyond their years. They were just looking for a hook-up, but it became a far deeper connection. Though is was fast, I really loved watching how their relationship developed. This really was the perfect book for a very cold winter day. Looking forward to reading Cassie and Mac's stories.

One note -- this is story about college kids on their spring break. There were some very pointed lessons that parents should share with their older kids. 1) Always keep an eye on your drink. 2) Alcohol poisoning is a real and dangerous thing -- it was good to see that scene where Quinn takes charge and helps a very drunk female party guest. Not only did she help her while she vomited, but Quinn also made a point of asking for a safe place for the girl to sleep it off -- undisturbed/unmolested. It's a great lesson to teach.

** I received a free copy of this book from the author for an honest review**

The author has again slipped out another corker of a book for all the New Adult book lovers.

Quinn and James were a very hot and spicy couple. We had sweet and sassy with Quinn who hid herself behind a shell of which she is a carer and loyal and a little boring. James and rich lonely young man brings her out of her shell and actually brings out the life in her.

Apart from being lonely James is lost and and had been drifting for years not finding any piece with himself. Quinn brings feelings and purpose back into his life.

Friends and a bet and up coming between them and and Quinn knows he needs to fix himself before they can make any relationship work, so she leaves him. This is where we find that absence can indeed make the heart grow fonder.

There are of course lots of yummy sex scenes along with soul sharing moments between the two. A book to excite most readers.

I was BLESSED to receive a Beyond Me ARC from the incredible talented author Jennifer Probst. Jennifer has knocked it out the park again. Jen has the title of New York and USA Today Bestselling Author for a reason PURE TALENT.

When Quinn Harmon eyes scan the bar at Key West over Spring Break, her eye found the gorgeous James Hunt a typical rich kid, you roll your eyes at 'to much money and no brain' What Quinn didn't expect there was more to James than meets the eye.

James was instantly attracted to Quinn's beauty and wanted to have sex with her, she became his challenge when Quinn snubbed him. What James didn't expect that spending time with an every day girl not from his circle, would open his eyes to embrace his fear and become the man he wants to be out from his name.

A beautiful love story I laughed, I cried, I wanted to play 'Catch me if you can' I feel in love with James and Quinn's story and you will.

As soon as I saw that Jennifer Probst would be a part of this series I knew that I couldn't wait to get my hands on her book. She never fails to write a story that sucks me in and paints such a clear picture of what's happening that I feel like I'm watching a movie in my head. This book was no exception.
It was a fast-paced, sweet and fun read that was a bit insta-love but done in the right way. There was very little angst and it was a bit predictable but not in a way that took anything away from the story. It was steamy in a non-sleazy, not too far fetched way. I easily fell in love with the characters and am anxious to pick up the other books in the series. I recommend this to anyone looking for a quick, sweet read between a longer more angst filled novel.

eARC provided for an honest review.

I LOVED this novella. Quinn was such a real character. She was sweet, sassy, and smart. I loved that she felt like the same character from the other novellas, but the writing style was really different. I enjoyed having different authors write the different novels in the series; it gave a very holistic feel. Quinn and James were, well...they were HOT. Their relationship was really steamy and fun. Where Mackenzie and Austin were all hearts and sweetness, Quinn and James are fire and spice. I truly loved it. James broke Quinn out of her shell, and Quinn made James step up to the plate. Seriously, read this unique series. I promise you won't regret it.

Beyond Me by Jennifer Probst is one of three books in the Sex on the Beach Series. Quinn is on Spring Break with her two friends looking fun and a fling. James is rich doesn't work and comes to Key West every year with his friend to party.

Quinn is a person who looks to take care of everyone but herself. Quinn is kind and compassionate. James only has himself to take care of. James is use to getting his way. When they two meet there is an immediate spark.

I love how Jennifer Probst wrote the story from both Quinn and James point of view. I loved getting to see how both Quinn and James felt about each other.

Beyond Me is a fantastic read. I had a hard time putting it down. Jennifer Probst wrote another great story. I would highly recommend reading this book.

I picked this up on a whim just to have something quick to read, pass time waiting on an appointment. The book did exactly what I needed it to do. It gave me something to do. It was a quick read, roughly a hundred and fifty pages. The story, itself, was just blah. It was boring and nothing new. The characters were likable and it wasn't written horribly. If more time was put into the story it could've been a lot better even with it being something that has been done before.

I, actually, feel bad about giving it two stars because I really wasn't looking for anything more than I got. I feel like I'm not being fair. But even if I'm not looking for the greatest book ever I still secretly hope that I will get pulled in....

After reading all the books in the Married to a Billionaire Series (The Marriage Bargain, The Marriage Trap, The Marriage Mistake & The Marriage Merger) and reading all "3" books in the Steele Brothers Series (Catch Me, Play Me, Dare Me) and reading All the Way and The Tantric Principle and most recently Searching for Someday - I thought that I knew what to expect from author Jennifer Probst - I was blown away by Beyond Me.

It is am amazing story of friendship and love and has everything and then some that a reader would want in a romance novel.

ARC from author in exchange for an honest review...

I LOVE JENNIFER PROBST - just thought I would clear that up first.

This is a cracking read - very erotic but yet such a simple love story. The duel POV (which alternates with the chapters) is great, not at all confussing and gets us in the minds of both Quinn & James.

Although part of a set of books (with other talented writers) this is a standalone - although I will be getting the other two books to read to - Before You by Jenna Bennett & Between Us by Jen McLaughlin.

Jennifer Probst has written a great spring break fun in the sun novella. I absolutely adored the two main characters in this sweet and tender romance between young spring breakers. And the heat was on and it had nothing to do with the sun.

If you're looking for a quick and fun read with some spicy romance, look no further -- "Beyond Me" will put you on the beach with a smile on your face and a drink in your hand.

This is my favorite of the Sex in the Beach series of books. Quinn is feisty and James is complicated and sexy. Probst does a gret job with both straddling the line of not making her characters too perfect or too bad. Their relationship is hot and steamy and makes me want to read more by the author.

It started okay then around 50% of the story, still okay, til the end, it was the same. Okay..

I did a fast read on this one, it wasn't really able to get my attention. The story is okay, Nothing too dramatic, and it ain't that interesting and there's nothing new about it. I don't even know why I read this one first after all the novels on my TBR list.

Loved it! I wish it was a lot longer - really loved James and Quinn! Very hot! I think this is the coolest idea - 3 books in a series written by 3 different authors - looking forward to reading the other 2 books!

I can't decide which one I love the most. James, Austin, or Tyler ... Can I have them all?
