A grumpy alien war veteran lives alone on the edge of town in a dusty mansion. He’s a recluse with sharp fangs and a questionable amount of alien blood stored in his fridge.
I should stay away from this big guy, like everyone else does. But his gorgeous, molten gaze causes my heart to flutter and I’m fascinated with the sound of his deep, luscious voice. I’m the only one he’s ever spoken to and I want to know him better. I need to draw him out from his isolation, but how?
It turns out the sullen alien “vampire enjoys donuts. Perfect. So I show up on his property to deliver pastries from my small-town bakery.
And then my car breaks down. He's angry that I'm stuck overnight with him in his spooky mansion but I’m here. He keeps insisting it's "not safe" for me to be near him.
But for some reason, I think he's wrong.
What better way to get through a night than with wine, a roaring fire, and some big muscular arms wrapped around you?

This was probably more of a two and a half star rating but I'll be generous and bump it to three stars. It was cute at times and then completely annoying and cliche at others which was to be expected considering it is a short romance/erotica story. The female lead was kind of dumb as she had no real sense in regards to her position with the male lead and what it all would mean for them even though he explained it very clearly to her more than once. But like I said this story was incredibly short and was entertaining for what it was.
This is a sweet, funny and steamy romance. Willow met Bruce in her local grocery store and was immediately attracted to him but he's a loner. She found out he liked the donuts that she and her mother make so she brought him some donuts as a way to get to know him better. Initially Bruce told her to leave because he considers himself dangerous because of his mating frenzy. Then Willow's car wouldn't start so she would have to stay the night. They do get to know each other better before Willow agrees to be his mate. Loved the bonus epilogue!
I LOVE this series, with its feisty heroine and hesitant hero, but it needed to be a bit longer to give more depth and detail. The ending wrap up is too convenient and short. It presumes the reader has read the first two books about the Korn including the characters. Adding a link to see an HEA years later does not help make this a good reading. This felt like it was rushed and phoned in at the end.
Another short story set in the Korn/Alien Vampire world. This time it’s baker Willow and her instacrush Bruce that are in line to get mated. Willow fell instantly for Bruce when she met him, but Bruce is considered “bad blooded”
It’s an enjoyable, and quick read- perfect for those times when you don’t have much time to spare, but need a break. If you’ve enjoyed Michele Mills other shorts, then you’ll probably enjoy this one, especially if you are a sci fi romance fan.
I enjoyed the book although I thought it was a bit on the short side. A lot of the development between the couple happened off-screen so it's more of insta-love than a fall in love across the book type of romance which some will enjoy. Overall the book was good though!.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This book was okay. The premise behind the story was interesting but the characters were both just really off to me. Something about the way she was extremely pushy and he was so wishy washy with not claiming her because it was illegal but constantly asking her if she was sure because he was going to do it anyway was just too much.
I thought the book was a cute, quick read. The MFC was a little thirsty for the MMC I spite of him being an alien vampire. She basically threw herself at him and didn’t listen to a thing he said after realizing he was just as attracted to her. I. Glad it worked out for them and his legal status was fixed.
Bruce is disgraced and not supposed to mate but had enter the mating frenzy since arriving.on Earth and it had only gotten worse since meeting the town baker. When they get stranded at his house during a storm the matting frenzy kicks into high gear but Bruce tried to stop himself except his mate won't let in in this sweet read.
Willow and Bruce share an instant attraction, but Bruce makes it so Willow takes matters into her own hands! I loved this novella, the characters, and the tightly stacked plot! It's easy to read in one sitting, you're going to wish there was more of them to read about, but it's still satisfying just the way it is!
Fast, steamy, easy read. Likable characters and fast paced storyline. I wish the storyline had been developed more because I feel there were points that could have been expanded upon...maybe some of those points are in the bonus material _which I'm having trouble accessing.
Eh! I didn't have high expectations for this one. I don't know why. It didn't leave me wanting more. I finished it after going back and forth on my decision. I didn't really connect with the characters and the story needs a little bit more. I didn't hate it but I didn't love it either. It was okay.
This story was great. I loved the moment willow met Bruce in the supermarket. I knew then that she was hooked on that sexy new alien from Korn. I was worried for a moment when he was trying to save her by forcing her to leave. I worried for nothing and had my HEA story I not only enjoyed but loved too! Read this story and Enjoy it like I did.
I truly hate this new thing where you have to do extra crap for epilogues and or extra or future HEAs. That's part of why I'm willing to out right buy from authors who don't like Olivia T Turner and Alexa Riley
Another match that can’t be stopped, no matter how hard he tries. I understand his thinking, but things happen for a reason. And of course it all works out in the end.
What a cute tale of an alien Brice forced to come to earth and not allowed to mate. When he meets the town baker sparks Fly. Wait bags of blood…sound like a vampire to me!
Willow has a chance meeting with Bruce (aka vampire) and she has a strange attraction to him. Little does she know he also has one for her. Actually she is his mate. She is ready for anything with him. Read to find out what happens.
