When Michael Hall takes a mid-life-crisis, cross-country motorcycle trip to the annual “Somewhere In Time weekend on Michigan’s sun-swept Mackinac Island, to reminisce about his life, his past-loves and those many forks-in-the-road never taken, the fifty-something, small-town lawyer, husband and father of four, is re-acquainted with his old friend; the beautiful and alluring Jan Flannery. Over the course of an action-packed weekend, Michael and Jan find they must come to terms with a mysterious and enduring attraction between them that literally transcends time itself.
Reunited with the lovely Jan Flannery again, after working together as extras on the classic picture “Somewhere in Time years ago, Michael inadvertently time-slips back to that magical movie-making summer of 1979, in his twenties again, with a second chance at life, and love. Exploring his long-time crush on the also youthful again, but married, Jan, Michael discovers that he and Jan have a much more intimate and eternal connection than either of them could have ever imagined.
