The dwarf is back, and this time he ain't alone in the dark. Hello the surface, hello the new and old friends!
Derek Smith, the real-life fantasy dwarf (who's also a cool dude!) finally conquered the mine-turned-Dungeon. Finally, it's time to take a step to the surface and see the new, changed Earth! With a seemingly impossible goal in mind reviving a Fairy Princess isn't a simple task, after all he would need all the help he could get. The first step is to befriend the people of the nearby Neo Village. Thankfully, he already has their bravest hero in his pocket...
With his smithing, magical powers, and unlikely allies, Derek is going to start a new page in his journey. The only problem is neither him nor his companions quite understand what is truly at stake. Not yet...
Extremely engaging system apocalypse story about a dwarf raised among humans
The MC and his team meet up with his best friend and his new village. They soon face a backstabbing rogue and a monster wave as a system quest. Fortunately the MC levels his blacksmithing master class to make incredible quality weapons and armor to provide an edge to the village. He also deepens his relationship with his goblina paramour. Yet just as they thought it was safe, whammo - a new threat arises.
Thats what I call good writing. Im looking forward to the next installments.
After defeating the brood mothers in the dungeon and Awakening is true race our group adventurers stumble across friends facing an even greater threat. The truth is revealed in the end as to who is chasing our young prince. I really enjoyed both books in this series and to the author I could not tell that English was not your first language. Your use of references and idioms were great and there were many times that I was amused as well as concerned for the characters
Once outs of the dungeon, the story drops off into boring filler. The characters are generic. The plot is laughable. The reveal at the end comes our of nowhere. This is a broken, disjointed attempt at a story.
Great sequel! Glad I re-read first, as it picks right up from there. The story moved along, and had some good development of the characters, and good introduction in to what's happening outside the mine.
The Dwarf, The Village ,and the RPG Apocalypse book 2.
Well this book moved a bit faster, and lots of action in here, a lot of fun! Tied in really well with the first book, and followed the story line. just waiting for the next installment !
