Secrets can lead to danger. And both main characters hold the potential for life-threatening attacks. But why did Sadie Carrington end up unconscious in the hospital? And now she can’t remember what happened or anything about her past. What a captivating way to begin a thriller! And the excitement doesn’t die down. Get caught up in this new adventure with the Shadow Agency. This novel stands on its own but is connected to the rest so I recommend reading the series in order. (And all three books are on Kindle Unlimited.) I received a copy from the author. All opinions are my own.

Another Shadow Agency book by Christy Barritt is just what I needed to read. I love suspense and action, and this book is packed full of it.
There’s something fishy with the agency, and Trevor is trying to figure it out. But first, he needs to help Sadie. The bigger question is, “Just, who is Sadie, really.� She doesn’t even really know.
From the very first page to the last, this book had me in its grip. I was so engrossed that I didn’t want to put it down.
Author Christy Barritt has an amazing skill of weaving action, suspense, drama, and romance into each of her books.
If you're a fan of 'who-done-it' stories, this book is a perfect match for you. It's a delightful blend of mystery, suspense, action, relationship tension, and romance.
This story will keep you on the edge of your seat until you finish it. Be prepared to not put it down, even to eat or sleep!
Without a doubt, I highly recommend picking up this book. It's a thrilling read that won’t disappoint.

Sadie Carrinton had indeed lost her memory. Mowed down intentionally by a car, her head injury was severe enough to cause amnesia . . . for how long? No one could tell her.
Nothing was adding up. The man who had been at the scene of the crime and called for help seemed safe enough, so when he disclosed that he worked in private security Sadie decided to hire him as a bodyguard. After all, someone had tried to kill her. The man who came rushing into her hospital room claiming to her boyfriend put Sadie on edge, but she didn't know why. And then there was the matter of that blood on her arm, where there was no injury. If only she could remember . . .

Shadow Agency operative Trevor McGrath had gone off script and allowed himself to take his attraction to Sadie to the next level . . . forming a relationship on which he was hopeful they could build. But now? His boss just indicated that he could not trust Sadie, for apparently there is no . . . Sadie Carrington.

I was gripped by this storyline from the very first chapter, and couldn't put it down! Sadie and Trevor were enjoying getting to know each other, but both were keeping secrets, secrets that could change the direction of their budding relationship. Just when both had decided separately to spill all, Sadie is struck by a speeding car and ends up in the hospital with amnesia, and Trevor has to be her bodyguard without revealing that they knew each other before the hit put out on her. Can they salvage their previous relationship when both their lives are exposed? I loved this book and could not wait until all was revealed!

This book grabs you in the first chapter and doesn't let go until the very end!! Sadie is hit deliberately by a car which is witnessed by Trevor who was late in meeting her. When Sadie wakes up at the hospital, she can't remember anything - including Trevor. This begins a story full of secrets, cat-and-mouse games, and enough red herrings to keep you trying to figure out who is behind everything. If you like suspense, mystery, action and a touch of romance, this is a story for you! I received an advance copy from the author but all opinions are my own.

I had an ARC for this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. When Sadie is run down by a car, she loses her memory. Trevor who has dated her a few times and was to meet her on the beach, arrives he sees her hit and helps get her to the hospital. When another effort to take her life is thwarted, he offers to be her bodyguard, but his boss tells him to be careful as she may have targeted him to begin with. An intriguing story with many twists in the plot and mystery abounding. I highly recommend this book by Christy Barritt! It’s a great addition to this series.

Shadow Assignment by Christy Barritt is book 3 in The Shadow Agency series. This book continues the saga of the covert agency’s work and makes their work personal as one of the agents works to protect a new love interest. Trevor has briefly started seeing Sadie, just as she is targeted by a moving car. Suddenly, Sadie has amnesia and suspicious clues lead him to wonder who she really is. This book has much action and some sweet romance as well. I highly recommend it. I received a digital copy of this book from the author with no obligations. These opinions are entirely my own.

The Shadow Agency Series Continues!
Book 3 is another fast-paced suspense that made me want to read it straight through! I never wanted to put it down. This book was well-written in the author's usual amazing style. Faith-based with no bad language, no over-emphasis on the violence that occurred, and no bedroom scenes. You won't want to miss this book! Now I'm off to read the 4th and last book in this series, at least the last as far as I know! If there are more, I will definitely get those, too!

Shadow Assignment is the third book in Christy Barritt’s Shadow Agency series, a clean, Christian Romance/Suspense series. Though a bit repetitive in places, this book, like most Christian Suspense Romances, flows like a good Hallmark movie. Sadie’s amnesia adds a bit more shadow to this story, but it is still a fun read and not as predictable as most.
With a bit of a twist and a lot of action, this book became a very quick read.
If you enjoy suspenseful romance, like I do, I recommend Shadow Assignment. It would make an entertaining beach read this summer.

How scary to lose your memories! Worse yet is finding someone is trying kill you - repeatedly. Sadie doesn’t know who she can trust. She doesn’t even know who she is! Trevor has dated Sadie and really looked forward to getting to know her better, but now he finds her background is sketchy. Now he definitely wants to keep her close. Who is she, friend or foe?
Ms Barritt’s characters are so realistic and her storyline is top notch.

Such a great read involving a case of amnesia. When Sadie wakes up in the hospital after an accident, she has no memories of what happened. As the attacks after Sadie escalate, who can she trust? Can she trust Trevor, who has secrets of his own? What was Sadie doing? Who has been after Sadie?
This had secrets, action, and suspense. As Sadie and Trevor's story unfold, so does the truth and Sadie's memories. This was a fast-paced story that grabbed my attention from the first page.

Loved this one. I always enjoy a story where there is amnesia involved, and it made the book all the more interesting since Sadie couldn't remember anything. And it was a surprise when everything was finally revealed.
Trevor was an awesome character, as was Sadie. I am looking forward to the next book in the series.

Create time to read Shadow Assignment since you will want to devour it in one sitting. Surprises abound and leads are few as hazy details combined with secrecy and amnesia, creating a blur between the good and bad guys.

shadow assignment is awesome
I really liked how this book kept me guessing who was doing all of this. It was very fast moving and very difficult to put down. The characters were riveting and complex. If you like a book with action and suspense then this book is for you. Christy Barritt is an incredible author.

Hope is the basis for everything
Bad turns into good with hope, Sadie learned that when she couldn't remember any thing else. Trevor found hope when he thought it would never exist again.
And the bad guy ran out of hope. Love how I'm always surprised by the villain in Christy's series. Looking forward to next book.

This book is awesome! From the beginning to the end, the suspense gripped me. There are so many intertwining elements in this story. Trevor and Sadie, the two main characters, each have backgrounds that play a role throughout the book. This is a book that will keep one on the edge of the seat throughout. I highly recommend this read.

WHO IS SHE?
Sadie's mind was too slow. It scared her to pieces. Oh why couldn't she remember anything about herself? Trevor was also concerned. Nothing made sense in the case. Christy Barritt has written another breath taking romantic suspense. Strong characters are the norm, but surely the story should make sense. Shouldn't it? Don't miss this fabulous story!

A Very Riveting Book!!
A fast paced read full of mystery, adventure, murder, twists and turns, suspense and romance. I couldn’t put this book down. At the end when everything comes together I was shocked. A great read!!

Fast-paced fun!
I love every one of Christy Barritt’s books, and this third book in the series did not disappoint. I find myself becoming invested in the characters, and I find them all to be believable. I highly recommend any one of her books!

Amazing book
As usual for a Christy Barritt book it was an amazing story. Christy keeps a story exciting from beginning to the very end. I can't wait for the next book in this series. I plan on rereading all the books in this series when the new book comes out.

I Couldn't Put It Down
Once I started this story, I literally couldn't stop! I read it all in one day. It was intriguing and impossible to figure out. And I really liked Sadie and Trevor. I wanted to read more about them. This is a really great read!

Sweet little story of star crossed almost lovers. All the good guys know they are good but aren't sure who the bad guys are. Plots of misses chances and a few red herrings make an interesting story line.
